The staff were all amiable and helpful. Coffee was available without charge at all hours. Breakfast was simple but certainly adequate: nothing customized but a buffet including a modest variety of juices, (sugared) cereals, breads, pastries, yogurts, some fruit, pancakes, jams, some preparation of eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy - and offered at an early hour in a bright dining area off the lobby. The air conditioning was more than adequate to the challenges of a late May heat wave.

I inadvertently booked an ada room so it was likely more spacious than otherwise - but inexplicably required an elevator ride and traversing a long hall for access. (Not a problem for me but, for disabled persons, not ideal.) The electronic window shade, set about 90% closed when we arrived, was immovable. (But the view was of the parking lot and highway so no great loss.) Upon first use, the TV could not get a signal; the front desk personnel came to the room to reset the input.) The telephone in the room did not work (desired only to call the front desk about the shade and the TV.) The flexible hose on the shower head leaked and sprayed water in all directions so keeping the bathroom floor dry was a challenge.

The breakfast is amazing! The staff were awesome as well!

We came and the kids were pumped about the swimming pool. When we got here the staff informed us that it was off season and their pool hadn’t been shocked or kept up with.

Ein sehr sauberes, gepflegtes Haus, in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Hwy US 90, der aber kaum gestört hat und nicht weit von allem, was man braucht. Besonders hervorzuheben ist noch die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Dame an der Reception. Als Basis zum Besuch von Avery Island eine sehr gute Empfehlung.

Nichts wesentliches, nur eine Kleinigkeit: Die Kaffeemaschine im Hotelzimmer war so unglücklich in das Regal eingebaut, dass man sie kaum benutzen konnte. Dafür konnte man sich allerdings jederzeit in der Lobby mit Kaffee bedienen.

Hôtel agréable, pratique et confortable. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien équipées comme tous les Holiday Inn Express et Suites. Bon petit déjeuner.

Quietness

The breakfast was wonderful. Eating and serving area were clean. There staff for the morning were always welcoming and knowledgeable of the area.

One of the rooms had no hot water. We were a group of 10 so used the common area to eat dinner and visit together however the night staff and over night staff kept the air conditioning at 68 degrees so were were quiet uncomfortable and had to keep going outside to defrost. I understand we were in the the beginning of an unnatural heat wave, but I was told by one of the staff he kept it that low because he enjoys wearing hoodies.
