The staff were all very nice but it seemed more like a place for locals

I booked 12 rooms for family and was told that the pool was open from 10am-10pm at check in so everyone was so excited to swim, but soon after check in they closed to pool down and gave my family numerous excuses as to why we couldn’t use the pool, and it mysteriously re-opened the morning that we were scheduled to check out. We traveled 750 miles to attend a funeral and I was told in advance by staff that each family member could pay for their room separately with cash or card. I specifically asked 3 times if there would be any additional fees are deposits for those that would be paying with cash and I was told no extra fees would be charged. Once we arrived I was told that any person that paid with cash would have to pay a $100 deposit after I was told numerous times there would be no extra fees. So checking in took over 2 hours and my family had to wait in the hot parking lot until we finally came to a resolve and the manager finally agreed to honor what was told to me. By far the rooms were decent, but for my family to travel so far and to be treated this way was a horrible experience.

The cops pulling in as we where checking in, the argument the staff was having with guest and how dirty the hotel was in general and the non smoking room stuck of fresh cigarettes..

I checked in and out within 15 minutes. This hotel is dirty, mold on the ceiling, stinks and humid

I didn’t stay more then 15 minutes It is a disgrace to the Wyndham company. I had to drive 2 hours home due to this location being disgusting

Upon checking out, We had to threaten the front desk that we'd call the police since they didn't want to give us back our $100 cash security deposit. They demanded $100 deposit upon check-in. They claimed there was a stain on the bed. My husband and staff went back into the room and we didn't see it. After planning to call the police, they gave us our money. They asked for our deposit slip-but no one gave me one upon check in. Shady stuff here!!!! Also "breakfast included" but it's only 1 muffin and coffee. That's not what we consider a hotel breakfast. A hotel building door to left of main door has a key-fab green lit machine, but door is completely unlocked and open to the public. Toilet had a hard time flushing, maintenance fixed it. Cable to TV was loose, maintenance fixed it. Both after front desk gave me a "look" like I did something wrong. In comparison, The night BEFORE we stayed in a Clarion for $3.00 less (!) On our trip and there EVERYTHING WORKED, Breakfast was deluxe and hot, and they didn't require any deposit. Staff gave us a discount on rate AND an upgrade to a suite at Clarion. Needless to say, we were very disappointed with our stay at this Days Inn. Go elsewhere.

When we left the hotel after our stay there was a older guy in the hallway and he said he was house keeping and we could leave the door open. Then he asked if we could give him a tip I said what? He says you know money....I told him the card to the room was on the TV stand and we left
