The front desk greeted us nicely. This was a last-minute trip as my mother-in-law was at Northbay Hospital in serious condition and we needed to be close. Morning coffee was good. I was able to get an extra pillow.

Hallways smelled fishy from all the cooking people were doing in their rooms. Bed was very uncomfortable, it bounced a lot. It felt as though this was no longer a hotel for travelers but more for low income individuals/families who can't afford apartment rent. Some of the individuals we met in the "lobby" made us a bit uneasy. We are 43 year Fairfield natives and moved 2 years ago and didn't expect this hotel to go down hill as much as it did. Sorry but I definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone!
