Location and room were perfect. There was no breakfast offered. I will not be recommending this cottage to anyone.

When my daughter, my sister, her husband and I arrived at the property, we walked in and there was nobody there to greet us. My sister's husband pushed open the door and said hello. The host came out and asked us what we were doing there. He told her I had a room booked at this location and she said no you don't and that this was her home so there was no way we should be there and that we had the wrong cottages. My sister's husband told her that the name of the cottage was outside, and she stated that the was name of the company. My sister apologized for the intrusion and the host said she didn't feel threatened by use being there. My sister's husband started taking the luggage back to the vehicle. The host then asked me what cottage it said I should be at, and I stated it was the one we were at. She said there was no way that it was that cottage. I pulled up the conformation email and she still said that it wasn't that location. She then asked me my name and I told her she asked me to wait a moment so she could see if she could find out where I needed to be. When she returned, she said yes, I should be there and then asked me who was all staying I told her it was just my daughter and me. She said oh I thought it was all four of you staying, I told her no they just wanted to see the room and that they were helping bring the luggage in. She stated that she thought had overbooked, I had my brother-in-law bring the stuff back in (it was 105-degree weather, so we were extremely hot.) Instead of her apologizing for the mix up she stated that maybe next time I shouldn't walk in with that many people. She handed me the key and said she hopes that was all the drama for the night and hopes there wouldn't be anymore. She gave me the code for the door, and we left. There were no other issues until that morning. My daughter and I went and got breakfast around 10:30 we arrived back at the property around 10:45 and she already changed the code.

The breakfast was our only point of disatisfaction. We were well aware of the system ahead of time and placed our orders accordingly. It was just pretty meager, not what we would typically expect from such a nice B&B.

We enjoyed the homey comfort. It was a quiet and peaceful setting. We liked that breakfast was on your own time instead of a set time in a dining room.

We loved the very soft, fluffy towels and pillows. The tub was super nice and we enjoyed using the robes.

The location had us a bit worried about safety of our car and belongings.

It felt like home.

The grounds were beautiful and peaceful. My room was thoughtfully decorated with attention to detail. Everything I could have needed for my stay was provided. The breakfasts were delicious and generous as was the coffee.

On a road trip we needed a one night stay and from the images this looked like a quiet place, but the spring time on the Gardener's Cottage balcony in the trees was worth it all. The ample deck was our breakfast terrace and evening seating amidst the trees overlooking the rear gardens. A fine victorian building, mostly painted wood interior, it has it's quirky unique character issues that just make it more appealing than the standard make-over. Generous bedroom, compact upper level kitchenette and large tub in bathroom. Parfait and bagel breakfast, great coffee selection. Lots of windows and neighboring 'cottages', but privacy is kept in smart ways. Exceeded my expectations.

Our upper level unit had exterior wooden stairs, but we are hikers, so not a problem for us, but may be challenging for some. The neighborhood is a mix of wonderful larger former single family restorations and ones waiting to happen in mature tree-lines streets. The off-street parking will challenge larger vehicles.

Beautiful, well maintained cottage! Wonderful hosts who made sure all the comforts of home were available. Peaceful and restful. Had “neighbors” on each side, however heard absolutely nothing from them. I’d highly recommend this property! I’d be more than pleased to use again in the future!

It’s a charming old house.

interior and exterior surroundings were very comfortable and relaxing. my dog Lucy loved the fenced in backyard.

We loved how the place was quaint and quiet. It was a welcome break from a traditional hotel. The location was easily walkable to restaurants. The instructions to get in and how to get breakfast were specific and easy to follow. We would definitely stay there again.

The only thing that took me by surprise (only because I didn’t look close enough) was to shower we had to sit in the bathtub and use the sprayer hose.

Loved the soft bedding and fireplace.

The cottage was well appointed very comfortable. We loved the Winslow Cottage. It was perfect for two. Breakfast was delicious. We had the pancakes and sausage. I will return to such a lovely place.

Great little place! so cute. Hosts very accommodating. Breakfast was so yummy.

Didn’t have any plates (paper or otherwise) to use. Plenty of other cooking items. The TV & Netflix worked on Night 1 of our stay but wouldn’t play on Night 2.

The included breakfast are varied, easy to prepare and convenient!
