We have just had a lovely week at Clemens beach house. We have stayed in Crantock most years but usually in a caravan, but our teenage son is growing by the hour and too long for the beds, so we decided to try a cottage. We are so glad we did, it was beautiful. The view from upstairs in the living area is stunning and you have so many amazing walks literally on the doorstep. We sampled both village pubs for dinner and both were lovely. People friendly and food was delicious, we also tried the Bowgie and that was beautiful. The village shop is convenient and again all staff were friendly. My two dogs loved it here and spent lots of time on Crantock beach, which is beautiful. Ali and Freddie were so nice, with two teenage boys who can be a bit heavy footed, the hosts never complained and were happy let the boys play ball in the drive way. Anything we needed Ali was a text away and very responsive. The house has everything you need, it’s clean and well organised. The bed in the master bedroom was so comfy! I have not slept through the night in years, I did here! We now want a new mattress! We would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you to Ali and Freddie for hosting us in your beautiful home and sharing a little slice of heaven in beautiful Crantock.

Fabulous place to stay great location very pretty village beautiful beaches I was visiting my son and grandsons I had my 6yr old grandson staying and worked perfectly plus I had my little 8 month old Westie Kitchen was filled with everything you need you really do not need to take anything with you it all there. Beautiful views from lounge window basically everything you see in the official photos is how it is . Lovely quality bedding & towels 5 min walk to Crantock beach I just had a fabulous time . Ali is just so lovely and so helpful she left homemade scones jam & cream and a bottle of Prosecco such a lovely touch. Ali also allowed me a late check out lucky for me there was no one in on my day of leaving . I would definitely recommend this accommodation & at some point I will rerun Thank you Ali 💝

This is our second stay at Clemens Beach House and it didn’t disappoint. Great accommodation and location to the village and local walks. Highly recommend.

The apartment was amazing, very spacious, warm and cozy with a nice view of the sea. Great beach and coastal walks only 10 minutes from the property. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing and peaceful break. 5 stars...

good location clean and tidy

We have just returned from a fabulous break. The property was amazing and had everything we wanted and more! Super clean with incredible views from upstairs. The hosts were lovely and the scones and Prosecco on arrival were just what the doctor ordered after our long trip down from Yorkshire. The location is perfect for explorers or those who don’t want to venture far as everything you might need is within walking distance. I cannot rate this place highly enough - we hope to be back soon. Thank you so much for making our first trip to cornwall amazing.

The Beach House is in a fabulous location for the beach and for many walks, it is very well equipped and the decor is of a high standard and very clean. My only criticism is that the second bed is at the top of the stairs a main thoroughfare so not much privacy for anyone sleeping there and not much storage space for clothes etc. My fault for not noticing in the pictures. Despite that we had a lovely stay the host was welcoming and left us some beautiful homemade scones with cream & jam plus a bottle of Prosecco which was a lovely touch.

Beautiful clean and fixtures and fittings of the highest quality Didn't say that the 2nd bedroom was a mezzanine and open plan made it a bit awkward with my elderly aunt and uncle stayed for 3 nights.. Great views from the lounge tho

This was our second stay at Clemens Beach House, we love it so much we've already booked for next year. Everything from the view, the comfortable beds, sofa and chairs, the well stocked kitchen, including supplies and cleanliness throughout is impeccable and faultless. Ali and Freddie are absolutely lovely and always on hand if needed with great advice on the local area but not intrusive at all. Just wish we didn't have to leave xx

We spent a week in this lovely home. Magic sunset views, a few minutes walk from dunes and coastal path as well as village. The house had absolutely everything one would need or hope for, and furniture, appliances and accessories were of good quality and in good nick. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful and provided all sorts of useful local info and even some tasty home backed scones and a prosecco! We really enjoyed our stay and we hope we can go back soon.

What a superb place for a walking holiday with dogs, and surfing paradise. Pubs and a local shop all near by.

Our property was incredibly well maintained and suited 2 adults and one dog perfectly. The location is superb with local foot access to a beautiful beach. (not ideal for anyone with limited mobility). Ali was a superb host, very helpful but respected our privacy. There is limited cupboard storage for food but a huge fridge. All other elements of the property, including an outdoor shower!!! are excellent. Highly recommended

We had the best time in Crantock! Such a quiet village, the property was so well located we couldn't have asked for more. Ali was extremely helpful and friendly, the house was beautifully done with everything we needed. We will be back I'm sure!

Absolutely brilliant location and our host Alison’s preparation and warm welcome for us was second to none. The view is stunning and there is a very short walk to the beach. Crantock village and amenities including two brilliantly vibrant eating pubs and a restaurant are a few minutes away. We love the cosiness of the house which was much better equipped than any that we have stayed in before. Definitely recommend and look forward to visiting again in the near future.

We had a perfect relaxing week staying at Clarens beach house. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and very well equipped. The location was great, our dogs enjoyed their daily walks to the beach. We much appreciated the chilled Prosecco and cream tea left for us by the lovely friendly owners. Would definitely return again

This is a lovely property and the location is just fabulous, just minutes from the beach. Fantastic sea view can be enjoyed from the living area. The hosts have been lovely. We had a very relaxed stay and would definitely stay again.

Friendly, helpful welcoming host. Property is in a superb location, very clean and tidy. Added bonus of an outside warm shower for washing away the sand from us and the dogs. Thoughtful welcome gift of scones, jam and cream, and not forgetting the much appreciated cold bottle of prosecco! Absolutely loved our stay here

Great hosts, love the place and accommodation so much we have been coming back twice a year for 4 years now , everything you need right on your doorstep.

Extremely handy for Crantock Village, and the beach. The fastest route to the beach is down a very steep dune that was no fun to climb, so I'd recommend going the long way round if you're as unfit as me. The house was spotlessly clean and well-equipped and we were made to feel very welcome by the hosts. It's no surprise that the property books up quickly.

What a fantastic and superb holiday property, with inviting views over Crantock bay and the most stunning sunsets which you can watch from the sofa. However less than a 10 minute walk and you can be on the beach. Everything was thought of, the property is immaculately presented, incredibly clean, comfortable and well equipped. The outside shower was an excellent addition for washing our sandy Golden Retrievers. Ali and Freddie were very warm and welcoming, always on hand should we need any advice and gave us lots of tips. A lovely cornish cream tea awaited us on arrival and we were provided with fresh linens for our second week. We didn't want to go home but look forward to seeing you both again next year.
