The view is beautiful and it’s close to Fira, about an 5 minute drive. The staff BESIDES THE MANAGER were fine. There is a car rent hire as you walk out of the hotel to left and it’s about 500m down on the corner, hire a quad from them it’s very convenient and reasonably priced.

The bed was very uncomfortable, the shower head is detachable but built in at the bottom of the shower so you have to hold the shower head in one hand the whole time you’re washing yourself which can be very inconvenient if you’re a female, washing hair etc. The swipe reader to our room didn’t work the whole time we were there and after multiple technicians came out to see it, they were unable to repair it so we had to use a physical key to enter in and out of the property.

Santorini was nice, Villa Irini was the worst experience of my life!! I have emailed and messaged reservations at Villa Irini, a girl called Joanna which i was advised to do, i have now sent 13 mails and messages and have not got one reply or acknowledgment from anybody.

My advice would be to to avoid this place like the plague! We booked here for our honeymoon and were so excited about visiting Santorini until the taxi pulled into this place!!! We were met by another 2 male tourists in car park also venting their frustrations at the staff. It is nothing like it is portrayed as on booking.com, it is dirty, the pool is in the carpark (no sunscreen, drinks or food allowed at pool), which is funny cause we could not get a drink or food because their restaurant was closed , the rooms are awful, the outdoor heated tub is no bigger than a sink basin, the customer service is the worst I have ever experienced with any company, it is grossly overpriced, we checked in at 12.30 on the 18th August and checked out at 1.30 on the 18th August. We were told on check in that reception closed at 10pm but they would give us some numbers in case we needed to contact anybody during the night "in case we heard something outside", no footpaths outside property to walk anywhere, the property is advertised as been close to attractions, it is not near anything!! We booked into hotel 800 metres down the road that turned out to be €100 a night cheaper and was absolutely amazing and we are so grateful they could help us. I cannot state enough how much I would advise against booking a stay at this property! Booking.com customer service also has come back to say that we can contact property directly to try arrange compensation but when i told them the property would not reply, they stopped replying too.

The shower head holder is at an inexplicable low height. I'm not tall but the shower head when hang could only shower from my waist down. It should be pretty simple for them to just move the current holder to a higher position. The way it is setup right now it forces you to shower holding the shower head with one hand at all times or shower while sitting.

The view from the hotel is breathtaking. Staff hotel is very welcoming and helpful. I just loved it!
