We had a wonderful stay. Children had a wonderful time with associated activities, They have got amazing experiences in Srilankan countryside and farming. Disna, Bandhu and their children have been exceptionally helpful in every possible way. We felt so homely, and my children fell in love with the Srilankan countryside lifestyle etc

Great Breakfast and diner, owner very frendly

Disna and her family are really friendly and thoughtful! when we arrived she offered to cook for us and she prepared and amazing Sri Lankan dinner ( we loved the pumpkin curry). Her two little sons are both really active and showed us the lake next to the guesthouse which was a really nice plan and also she helped us arranging an elephant safari. The rooms were clean and with AC. So everything was wonderful!! :)

The family were very attentive and helpful. The kids got on well with ours. The home cooked breakfasts were really good and tailored to our needs. The local advice was really helpful also.

The main photo is actually not on the property - it is at a nearby lake. There are heaps of mosquitoes and the nets have holes in them, the room is very basic. There is no storage and the power went out regularly. Overall it was a bit of a disappointment. I am not sure how or why it is getting 9/10 reviews.

It is one of the place you will never forget. Simple family guest house but with a big passion and hart for guests. We had everything what we needed during our first days in Sri Lanka. Fantastic home curry, unlimited tea and coffee. Any help and travel tips. We choose Habarana as a perfect connection to Annuradhapura, Polonnaruwa or Sigirya. The bus stops in front the house which was very helpful. I want to thank also for the best Ayurveda massage suggested by Anushka in near by Athreya Ayurveda Ashram. In any other place I didn't repeat that unique and tranquil experience.

The room was quite dark and even the lamp wasn't strong enough to light the room in the evening.
