Great accommodation! Couldn’t fault it . Wonderful panoramic views of sea and moorland . So many beautiful walks long and short from here . The world’s your oyster ! Talking of which we enjoyed watching the man on his quad bike arrive on the beach with his 2 dogs at the Oyster ‘ farm ‘ and check the nets or whatever it is they do ! So much to see from the amazing picture windows . Beds are comfy and best quality duvets and pillows. All in all a perfect break for us in these troubling times . Thank you to all who make it possible !

Great meals and atmosphere at the local pub - Bottom Ship. The open top bus ride from Porlock to Lynmouth was fantastic on a sunny day

Great walks

It has to be the view across Porlock Bay to Hurlstone Point during the day and the lights of South Wales at night from the upstairs lounge, accompanied by the ever-pervading sounds of the sea. The cottage itself was extremely well-equipped and comfortable. What more could you wish for?!

It was our fourth time at St Anthony's. We love the cottage, the village and most of all the tranquillity. We come to Porlock to unwind from our busy lives and always go home feeling refreshed. We will be back next year.

St Anthony’s is a terrific holiday property, a great upside down layout, very nicely and tastefully furnished, well equipped, an established garden and small orchard and a view to die for. The COVID19 measures were well explained and sensible. We would certainly stay her again if in the area and will strongly recommend it to friends.

Stunning views of the sea. Amazing cottage, really beautifully decorated. Couldn't recommend enough.

The cottage has views to die for and wide expanses of glass to appreciate it through and balcony to relax on. Woodland, sea and moorland walks on your doorstep but not mainly for those with any walking issues! Had it not been as it is eateries a plenty in walking distance but also a great garden for just a days relaxing at home. All in all comfortable, clean, well fitted and excellently located. We’d stay again next week!

The cottage is in a beautiful location and has a wonderful view. It is a comfortable cottage which is spotlessly clean and it has a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and lovely bed linen. Our dogs enjoyed the garden, chasing rabbits and the occasional partridge and it’s totally enclosed and safe for them.

The cottage is lovely . The view is fantastic . If you enjoy walking there are lots of walks on your doorstep . We will visit again .

The location is amazing. Despite the rainy weather we experienced, it was great just admiring the view from the lounge. The electric blankets were much appreciated!

The view from all the windows is spectacular. The cottage is well equipped , nicely furnished and very clean. Good supply of firewood. Easy walking to shoreline and woodland path from the door. The bottles of wine and milk were very welcome.

Watching the sunrise from the sitting room window is a must !! Fabulous views any time of day ..... a lovely cottage to relax in either as a couple or with friends. Walks on the moors and good eateries on your door step .... looking forward to returning again . Margaret Perkins.

We have stayed in many cottage rentals over the years and we found this gem to be the best. Very peaceful with views to die for. Very well equipped. We only used the one bedroom which was exceedingly comfortable. Great base for exploring the Somerset coast.

We just love St Anthonys - the minute you open the gate and unlock the door we just feel happy - and that thrill is still there after many visits. The view is fantastic and the the house tasfefully furnished and well equipped . Lots of walking opportunities from the doorstep and lots of variety if you want to venture further afield - if you can pull yourself away from the everchanging view. Walk to Bossington over the marshes and back through the woods is a must - Kitnors tearoom wonderful cream tea. Porlock Weir Hotel - great for Pizza and the evening sun. You wont want to leave at the end of your stay.

We love this cottage the views out to see are amazing. Fabulous well kept garden. Great location lots of local walks on the doorstep. There are a small number of places to eat on the front which serve some great food at the coffee shop and Ziangs. There is also a pizzeria and a local pub serving food. Would highly recommend.

What a lovely place to stay! Beautiful views from a warm room. It was pretty miserable weather whilst we were there but that was all made up for by the quality of the accommodation. It didn't really feel like a holiday home, rather, someone's home. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment; better that everywhere else we have been.We loved it. Thank you

You can't fault the view, it is out of this world. We spent most of our time just sitting watching the ever changing scenery. The cottage was lovely and clean and very well equipped. It was a slightly chilly weekend so the log burner a bonus. Our dog loved the big garden and we loved the 5 minute walk to the local pub. This is definitely the best cottage we have ever stayed in and highly recommend.
