After traveling thru Italy for 3 weeks, we needed a few days to just relax and La Lira was definitely the place. By far the cleanest place, mordern as well. We were 7 of us, and booked 3 rooms. Each room was spacious and had its own balcony with some great views. The owner Valerio was awesome, accomodating and polite, his cousin Alessandro (Ibra look a like) was so welcoming and gave us a detailed mapped view of the city and places to eat. This family owned bed n breakfast is one of the best places I have stayed at in all my travels.

I loved everything about this place...

Very close to airport. Helped book airport shuttle and were able to accommodate early breakfast for our group. Great Fiumicino location too - near canal and lots of restaurants. Very modern and clean.

A little tricky getting here from Rome by bus but the bus stop was very close.

it’s good if you want to stay for one night and to the airport the next morning but not for a long stay, as there is nothing around.
