Everything was spotless.Host Milda made us feel so welcome.She even went out of her way during loadshedding to bring us a flask of hot water for coffee. Will definately stay there again🌝

Friendly dog - nothing else to like. The host had ruined the entire experience.

I enquired about the condition of the access road multiple times and even 1 hour before I arrived and was told it is in good condition. Got to the farm and the road was basically a muddy swamp with ditches everywhere that I ended up damaging my car. I informed the host about this on arrival as I was deceived and they brushed it off without any care in the world. When I arrived at the cottage I found that what I booked was given to another guest and that we (2 adults) must sleep in separate rooms on opposite ends of the property - the host failed to mention this even when I called them just before I arrived! The replacement rooms were subpar to the unit I had booked (fewer beds, much smaller, no tub, studio setup, pics did not match the listing) and the host made nonsensical excuses about booking.com being international instead of owning up to their error and offering a solution. The host then expected us to pay double the price to "upgrade" to a different unit or be happy with a refund and drive back out via the swampy access road to find other accommodation at 10pm in the night - after we drove over 12 hours to get there! Witkrans was our last stop on our 2 week journey and it was the only place we had a poor experience. I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

Friendly hosts, loved the dog on the property.

We got more than we expected. Enough space; braai packs was quality meat and the teenagers enjoyed the table tennis and pool table. Nice indoor braai. The car had a good parking aswell.

It was to cold to do quality star gazing but noboby could change that.

Accomodating host Had the heater already on in the room when I arrived. Place already set for dinner. Stunning farm Had a lovely jog on the farm road. Really pleasant experience. Highly recommended

The host made every effort to make one’s stay the best. We had lots of load shedding and she would have a flask of boiling water for us which was so sweet. Our lights and heating would be on when we got back at night, which was so inviting when arrived after a long day at the festival.

All was great.

The room was spacious, and included far more than expected - pool table, fully fitted kitchen - even the table was laid before we arrived. The building housing the guesthouse facilities was an old farmhouse so had enormous character. The water was very hot, even though the electricity had been off all day.

Nothing - we didn't want for anything. The facilities far exceeded our expectations, and the location was great. Definitely value for money.

A home away from home. We loved our one night stop over at this lovely cottage. So peaceful. Fabulous breakfast.

The peace and quiet on the farm was wonderful. The bed was comfortable and the room and kitchenette were both very well equipped. Incredible value for money.
