L’accueil et la disponibilité de l’hôte . La villa était parfaite pour nous . Nous étions en famille avec nos trois enfants . Le cadre est paradisiaque et la villa très confortable !

Garden is beautiful, beach access; Owner is super helpful and friendly, has 3 dogs that walk around the territory; There’s a nice restaurant with sea view, we liked food there; I liked the swimming pool there, it’s deep and doesn’t have strong chemical smell; They kill mosquitoes once a week.

Because of humidity and changing weather, wooden plates in front of houses are shaky; On top of the booking payment you need to pay extra for cleaning and double electricity bill; They change linens and towels once a week, but no one just enters the house and does it for you, every time I had to ask; Everything is relatively far, without bike or car it will be difficult to get around; Part of the sea in front of the hotel is not good for swimming, there are a lot of seaweed and stones; House has 2 bedrooms, but there are no walls between bedrooms, only curtains, which is not a big deal if you don’t want some privacy while traveling in a group; Internet speed in each house is very slow and limited. For working it was enough, but once I wanted to watch some Netflix but I couldn’t watch in a good quality.

To be really precise : Starbay offer a really different concept than all other resorts I have checked. And I have checked many of them.. Respecting the Real Thay Architectures codes and Feelings.. I can tell : At STARBAY we feel in Thai Land. ( not in Dysney Land ) That make a real difference. ;-) Good to know : If you wanna enjoy Great Food Many Customers from the other resorts come to taste their original Cuisine at Starbay Restaurant This is Such Quiet place. The Staff is so friendly and Professional. The restaurant you will enjoy to eat Great Thai or Occidental food if you require. ( With the feet in the water, the Best View on Lamai Bay.) Stay there is a proper Piece of Paradise.. I recomand warmly too, to anyone to taste the Starbay Restaurant on the Beach at the Sunset time. Perfect Moment. The owners are BRITISH and GERMAN. ( you will enjoy to speak a perfect German and English with them.. ) They are really warm hearted and high Professional. The PRIVATE HOUSES are managed with the highests cleanliness standards. ( that you will really not find this easy in other places. We have checked many resorts in Samui. ) Overall when you have young kids 2 and 3 years old as we have. ( so many resorts we checked are really not clean. ) STARBAY is the Best perfect place for Couples who want to have a ROMANTIC stay and Families who want to have a High Class and QUIET experience in the Real Thay Style with European cleanliness codes and Services.
