Nous avons passé deux semaines magnifiques à la Villa L’Herm. Dès notre arrivée nous avons été saisis par la vue époustouflante sur la mer, le port, la ville et l’arrière-pays. La maison est agréable à vivre, le jardin et la piscine vraiment très agréables et la terrasse… n’en parlons pas, y petit-déjeuner ou y dîner est un bonheur L’emplacement nécessite une voiture pour se déplacer sans affronter la montée avec sérénité (ou alors des jambes de grimpeur… ou un vélo électrique!). On est en dehors du trafic urbain et il est facile d’aller vers Saint Jean Cap Ferrat ou au-delà. Il manque juste une boulangerie à distance à pied. Jean-Pierre est un propriétaire extrêmement soucieux que tout se passe bien. Du coup…tout se passe bien!

Die Villa bietet eine traumhafte Aussicht auf den Hafen von Nizza und das Meer. Sie liegt in einer ruhigen Privatstraße. Es gibt ausreichend Spielmöglichkeiten (Tischtennis, Kicker, Boulebahn, Basketbalkorb, Brettspiele). Die Küche ist mit allen ausgestattet. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in der Nähe. Restaurants am Hafen sind fußläufig. Der Vermieter war stets hilfsbereit und unterstützte mit Tipps. Man hat keine Klimaanlage aber es geht ständig ein leichter frischer Wind, sehr angenehm. Der Pool hat eine Gegenstromanlage. Ein Holzkohlegrill ist vorhanden.

We stayed with 6 people in the Villa, more than enough room for all of us. Very clean and well organised, the view is even more stunning than the pictures suggest. Would rent it again any day.

Une voie privée donc préservée de tout flux de circulation mène à cet endroit magique. Magique par cette vue à 180 degrés qui permet au regard de se poser sur les montagnes au loin ou sur la ville, le port, les bateaux en partance, la mer. Le scintillement des lumières le soir qui laisse les pensées se faire légères. La piscine dans son écran de verdure entourée de son jolie plancher de bois naturel donne l’envie de se rafraîchir tout en respirant les parfums balsamique du maginifique pin. Cet endroit parfaitement organisé offre un confort total où l’on peut profiter d’une belle flambée en hiver dans une vraie cheminée après avoir fait une ballade en vélos à disposition au sous sol à côté de la table de Ping Pong. Wow, what a great villa with wonderful views over Nice and the Med. We loved our week in this villa. The owner was extremely helpful in the lead up to arrival, and provided lots of useful information. We were given a guided tour of the property on arrival, and then spent a week basking in the July sun whilst the kids jumped in and out of the pool. Early evenings spent on the balcony watching the sunset was so relaxing, and just a short week into Nice and alll the fantastic restaurants in the Old Town. Highly recommended.

We were staying for our honeymoon. My wife and I really enjoyed the property.

We stayed in this villa for one week in July 2017, and we thought that we should have been there for two weeks or more. That was our first time to spend our vacation in Nice and we had a lot of concerns regarding our staying. However, as soon as we arrived there, all concerns were simply vanished. You will, above all, appreciate that magnificent view of Sea, Vieux Port, Chateau Hill, City, Nice airport, and very clean environment, including the pool and the garden, etc. And then, the house sitter will welcome you sincerely, ready to answer all your questions about your staying. You can see that the villa has been maintained perfectly. While we stayed there, a gardener came to take care of plants. Many things in the villa show you that the owner has a taste, must be very French, which will make you feel at home. We did not have to rent a car, because the villa was close to the city center, and walking down to the city in the morning was a pure pleasure. This villa can be one of a kind for a family, probably more suitable for a small family. The villa provides all the things needed to have a perfect vacation and above all a wonderful souvenir. We are planning to go back to this beautiful villa next July 2018.

the villa is situated in walking distance to the port and old town, has everything you could ask for, a pool, up to three bedrooms, a parking place, is enclosed for feeling safe, a kitchen and a barbecue perfecty equiped and maintained and above all a brillant view to the ocean and the city. the housemanagement isn´t only good working, it makes you feel at home and is helpfull for all your needs. thank you for having us for the second time, we will come again!

I think your villa is very stylish comfortable and must have one of the best views in Nice. I loved just sitting on the balcony and taking in the surroundings as the evening approached. The villa had everything you could need or want. The swimming pool was perfect with the water jet to swim against I had a daily work-out!

This house was the perfect restingplace for our Nice vacation – two families of four. The view is just as impressive as the pictures in the ad. The house is equipped with everything you need and more. Delphine the housesitter was very friendly and helpfull, providing us with whatever information we needed. The pool and garden area was perfect for sunbathing, playing with the kids and resting between our fieldtrips. Bus 81 to Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat and bus 100 to Monaco stops just down the road. Short walk to the Marina with a few restaurants that serves good, affordable fishdishes, and more. Mont Boron, the Old Town and the Promenade des Anglais are also within walking distance. House-owner Jean-Pierre is awailable and easy to communicate with.

Une très belle villa, très bien située. Du balcon, vue sur la baie des Anges et centre ville. Villa très bien equipée, belle piscine sous les palmiers. Les vélos permettent l'accès à la plage et centre ville à moins de dix minutes. Tous les avantages de Nice dans un endroit très calme. Une villa où on a envie de revenir.

When we found the house, we had chosen it, because it is so near the city. When we arrived we knew that it is one of a kind. the house has everything you need and much more. the housemanager Delphine was very helpfull and incredible charming and provided us with all information we needed. in the house and at the pool, with that incredible view, we found everything you would need to live there forever. what bigger compliment can one make than return and we will be here again next summer. thanks for having us!!

Lovely large villa with pool and gorgeous views over Nice. Very comfortable accommodation, with all the "extras" a family could need (we were 3 generations). The owner and his local agent went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Fully recommended, top marks.

Wir haben das Haus im Juli 2016 für eine Woche Sommerurlaub gemietet (Pärchen mit Hund). Bei der Ankunft wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen und uns wurde alles genaustens erklärt und gezeigt. Im ganzen Haus findet man kleine Zettelchen und Botschaften wo jedes Detail genaustens erklärt wird. Auch für die Sicherheit des Hauses ist garantiert – man fühlt sich sehr sicher dort. Der Pool sowie die Umgebung war sehr gepflegt und die Blumen alle wunderschön am blühen. Die Palmen im Garten setzten dem ganzen noch das Krönchen auf. Ferienfeeling pur! Unser Highlight war jedoch die Terrasse. Frühstücken und Abendessen mit Sicht auf den Hafen von Nizza, einfach wunderschön! Jeden Tag konnten wir die grossen Kreuzfahrtschiffe beobachten die in den Hafen fuhren und auch der Flughafen von Nizza ist ersichtlich und man kann die Flugzeuge beim Start und Landen zuschauen. Auf der Terrasse hätten wir stundenlang verweilen können. Viele schöne Ausflugsziele sind in der Nähe (am besten mit dem Auto erreichbar). Empfehlenswert ist ein Spaziergang auf dem Mont Boron mit einer herrlichen Aussicht über ganz Nizza. Einfach perfekt! Wir können dieses Ferienhaus nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen (auch super geeignet für Familien). Wir kommen gerne wieder einmal vorbei, aber bleiben sicher länger als "nur" eine Woche.

Don't hesitate to book this lovely villa. Tastefully decorated it has all you need. A large balcony allows views across the harbour and the port. The villa is located on a street with other properties that has gated security access by key remote . Car parking is off road next to the house. There is no noise from surrounding properties or from external traffic which is surprising for a large city like Nice. Grocery shopping is just 1 minute away by car and a large Carrefour is just 5 minutes way. Many restaurants and other entertainment are all close by. We were met on our arrival and departure by the owners representative who was totally helpful and available at other times if required. Communication with the owner is first class and the service he provides cannot be faulted. There is just one complaint....we should have stayed longer! We will return if we visit Nice again.

I have been holidaying in rented properties in Europe for many years and this was probably the best of all the places I've stayed. The house is stunning, incredibly well equipped, nicely decorated and furnished and with wonderful views. The location is fantastic as the villa is about a 15 minute walk from the port and old town but in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. The owner went out of his way to provide very detailed information about the house and communication was exemplary both before and during our stay. This property really does have the "wow factor" and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it - you won't want to leave!

"We spent two weeks in Villa L''Herm in July 2012 (wk 28 and 29). We rented a car from airport and it immediately felt safe, when we noticed that Allee de la Palmiere is behind a gate. We were given the code to open it when we arrived. Houda and Philippe live next door so we were given the keys and instructions and Tour de Villa at once. And we fell in love with the villa really. The view is wonderful to Vieux Port, The Chateau Hill, Promenad des Anglais , airport and the city towards MAMAC. The house is like a home, full of small details all around. I particularly liked the library: I was able of study the history and geography of France. WiFi works without problem. TV sets, DVD and radio were also nice. Kitchen is good, we ate either on terrass or in the kitchen. It was never too hot at night because there are numerous electrical coolers in the house. I liked the pool, the water was not too warm (like neighbour Helmut''s, very nice neighbour though). Second week we had four children as our guests and they loved the pool, and it was also safe because it is only 120cm deep. We could easily walk to Vieux Ville, only 20 min. The car is easy to park either on the allele or in the yard. Washing machines worked as they should. Totally perfect. We felt privileged to live there! My mother, now 77 y, planned to rent L''Herm with couple of her lady friends. She liked the 1 floor arrangement, no stairs, except the cellar of course."
