The villa was lovely and is well equipped. We enjoyed using the free paddle boards and the 100 steps to take them to the beach. The management are friendly and responsive. The brand new pool is beautiful and the lounge chairs are so comfortable. We loved it so much, that my parents are staying there in February. We will definitely return to the Villas by the Cove and we highly recommend staying there.

Great partial ocean views! If your looking to learn to surf, this place is perfect; you’re right across the street from a beginner break and have free access to boards. You’re also very close to a large beautiful, swimmable beach (<5min walk). For those with a kid, there was a large playground in walking distance. The place has a new owner, who is very responsive. I would comment on the place itself but we were told it’s being fully renovated so there’s no need; I would assume it will be even nicer for the next guests. Highly recommend!

So the unit was good. A little seaside bungalow. 3 of 8 nights their was middle of the night screaming and anger from the park right across the street. I roll with whatever, but it was off putting.

This is a nice spacious place. Could use a little paint touch up here and there but overall a clean and quite place to stay. Great location with a surf beach across the street and a huge sun, swim, paddle board beach just a quick walk up the street. I would stay here again.

Great location, very clean, has all that we needed (they even had decaf coffee !!) great service, very informative, and very very close to two great beaches the cove and Charles young beach, what more can we ask for ? it really felt like home. If we go back we would love to stay there again.

Maui Cove Park is centrally located off S. Kihei Rd right across from Cove park and beaches. We loved sitting out on our patio with morning coffee orhaving our dinner outside with the sunrise and sunsets. Villa 4 has everything in the kitchen you need , lots of storage for suitcases and closet space. Well equipped with beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and boogie boards. You can easily walk to many restaurants and 2 grocery stores. We used the well maintained Weber grills almost every night of our 2 week stay. You can walk to at least 5-6 beaches or take the bus. Great jumping off place to drive north or to the airport and upland or volacano. Villa 4 is on Illlini road but a hedge provides barrier, you have your own parking space and the park gate is locked at 8pm and opened at 7am. We enjoyed the local surfing activity and family gatherings in the Cove . We will definitely be back Thank you Ralph

Great place to get the Aloha spirit: no hiding behind gates at luxury pools etc. loved watching the surfers in the morning and sunsets in the evening, place was spotless, host was super friendly. Great value. Small kitchen w everything you need. Kinda dark inside our unit (#4) but kept it cool. Minor street noise. But What's not to like?

Villa 4 was perfect for me and my adult son. ( I wanted to come back to Maui and he was selected! It was our birthdays.) The villa was just across from Cove Park and we enjoyed watching the paddle boarders and surfers in the cove every morning and most evenings from our lanai/carport. We also enjoyed a couple of the regular locals who came to the park and just sat and played guitars every weekday morning. The villa was clean and well equipped with modern amenities. We especially liked the great snorkeling in the cove. Lots of fish and turtles! We went snorkeling there a number of mornings. The location of Maui Cove Inn was great as we could walk to a number of shops and restaurants in Kihei, and a number of beaches. The sunsets were awesome, even with the clouds that drifted in from West Maui in the evenings. I would recommend this place to all my friends and I plan on coming back next year. Ralph was a great host and gave us tips on where to snorkel, shops and restaurants. This was a great value as the places up the road were much more expensive. Ralph- don't raise the rates!

This was mine and my husbands first trip to Maui and we stayed at the Maui Cove Park in an absolutely loved it! We stayed at Villa 4 and loved that our view was of the beach park right across the street! I loved waking up to watch the surfers every morning and the paddle borders and then watch all the little kids learning to surf in the evenings while watching the sunset from our porch! The Villa quickly became our little home away from home! Villa 4 has a private back porch which is where I would drink my coffee in the mornings and watch all the little geckos in the backyard. The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything needed to cook dinner. We also used the grills a few nights and my husband was happy with them. Said they looked brand new. It was nice to also get to use equipment like two camping chairs. We prefer them to the beach chairs to be higher up off the sand, we used the snorkel equipment, boogie boards, beach towels, and a beach umbrella provided for free! Ralph is such a nice guy and knew us by name when we pulled into our driveway. He came over and introduced himself to us and told all about some great local beaches and eating spots! Our flights also were changed by our airline and we didn't fly out until 10pm. We were worried about taking showers after beaching it all day and Ralph was so nice and extended our checkout time so that we can use that whole day to go to the beach for the last time and then come back to the villa to shower and get ready for our flight home! If you do end up staying here you got a good little private beach this one house away it's beautiful and it seem to have a resident little turtle that lived there by the rocks. And don't forget to stop off on you way back to your villa and shower off under a giant mango tree! It's pretty cool ! Note** I read some reviews before staying here that said villa 4 was closer to the beach park therefore noisy. We didn't hear anything in the evenings or mornings! It was wonderful! We loved our 8 days in Maui and loved our little villa 4! We will be back!

We met Ralph and he gave us plenty of ideas of things to do in Maui and showed us where the hidden beach was located. This beach is a very short walk across the street and and down a path and is where we spent many wonderful mornings swimming and was a perfect place to watch the amazing Maui sunsets! The location of this Villa is conveniently located to many local restaurants and shops. Many within walking distance. Ralph had a copy of the book Maui Revealed in the room that gave great reviews, maps and great ideas for what to do on our stay. The Villa had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. Boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel mask and a cooler are provided. We highly recommend this Villa and would not hesitate to stay here again!!

Perfect location just steps from the water. Unit #4 is the closest to the cove. I've stayed in 5 of the 9 units at this property and all have been great.

The check in was easy even though we arrived late. It was a bit noisy during the day as it was close to the parking lot to the beach where all the surfers hang out but the gates closed at 8 so never any issues. Easy walking distance to beaches, Foodland, restaurants and shopping. Almost didn't need a car. Ralph was very helpful and knowledgeable and suggested things to do. Will definitely go back!! Thank you for the hospitality Ralph!

Kihei is a great location for accessing all parts of Maui. The reviews for Cove Park Inn are excellent, and for good reason. It was everything we hoped it would be. The owner, Ralph, was responsive to our various phone and email inquiries both before and during our stay. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance, and a very nice park and beach (including a private area for Cove Park Inn guests) are right across the street. We recommend Cove Park Inn to anyone looking for relaxing, comfortable, convenient accommodations at a reasonable price.

We enjoyed our stay at Maui Cove Park Inn very much! Our villa was recently remodeled and extremely clean, and had everything we needed from a blender to beach chairs and a boogie board to take with us to the beach. Our gracious host knew our names and gave us great advice for our travels. Conveniently located right at Cove Beach, we surfed in the morning, then took a quick walk down the road to find stores and restaurants galore. We would highly recommend staying at Maui Cove Park Inn for your stay in Maui!

The villa was clean and well maintained, very comfortable and location was good a lot of stores and restaurants and very nice beaches near by. We did not meet the owners but the maintenance lady (sorry I forgot her name) was very helpful when we had an issue with the fan. The only downside is Villa 4 is right by the road, you usually hear groups of men hanging out talking loudly at the small park in front. It was not as private and quite as the other villas, other villas would probably be a better choice if looking for more relaxation.

I really enjoyed our stay at Maui Cove Park Inn Villa #4. The villa is right across Maui Cove Park, you can watch and hear the waves from the lanai. The villa itself has pretty much everything you need to make your stay comfortable--beach towels, cooler, laundry basket, kitchen appliances and utensils, etc. The property is kept clean and well maintained. The bed is comfortable and so as the sofa bed in the living room. It has an open floor plan so there isn't a door separating the bedroom. You get your own parking space next to your villa. Restaurants and shops are walking distance away from the property. Really enjoyed sitting on the bench just across the street at Maui Cove Park to watch the sunset. I did not get the pleasure of meeting Ralph, the property manager but he provided detailed instructions, tips and suggestions via email before we arrived so I didn't really have any questions or concerns when we got there. I definitely recommend staying at Maui Cove Park Inn and would love to book a reservation there again next time I visit Maui.

We loved our stay at Maui Cove Park Inn. The unit was very clean, well equipped and bigger than expected. The grounds of the property are very well kept and you are able to park right beside your unit. You can tell Ralph takes pride in these units as they are all renovated or currently process of being renovated. The little touches such as a copy of Maui Revealed (amazing book) and beach gear all in the room make your stay more pleasant. It is in a great location. You are walking distance to a few great beaches, restaurants and a grocery store. We toured the island in the 9 days we were there and our favourite beach was the one right across the street from the Inn. Some parts of the day we had it all to ourselves. Also, it seems centrally located on the island. The majority of your day trips are just a short drive away. If you are thinking of staying in Maui, look no further, this is the place for you. We can't wait to go back.
