The hotel is super old, covers, curtains, furniture, windows were of the 80s. There were two plugs in the whole room, only one of which was functioning, and the bathroom had a weird smell after a day because of the fact that the building is very old. The staff called me at 12:30 at night AFTER I had checked out by noon to tell me that my things were still in the room. It appeared to be a misunderstanding between the colleagues but sorry, at 12:30 at night phone call?? It's a 30€ per night hotel max, not worth the price that they have the rooms at.

Location near Train and Bus stations was excellent. The receptionist was really lovely.

Very expensive for the most basic room. It opened onto a dirty central space that was shared by many noisy neighbours. As it was the only source of fresh air we had to keep it open. The room furnishings were old and rundown and that made it hard to keep clean and it therefore had the feeling of being quite grotty. As we were just sleeping there we put up with it and there is no point complaining about something that can’t be fixed. The wifi did not work in the room at all.

The staff were friendly and the room was very clean upon arrival. The location was perfect a 10 minute walk from the centre and close to the promenade with some lovely restaurants and the ferry to go to Somo.

The sheets were meant to be changed after 3 days or if you put a note on the bed you wanted them changed. We put the note on after second day they were not changed and were not changed after day 3 either we had to strip the beds. The sink was blocked and unfortunately there was constant noise throughout the day and night so not easy to get sleep.

I have stayed at this Hotel, my fault perhaps for not speaking Spanishl on a number of occasions in the last 27 years. I have always been happy with my stays there and have never had a complaint. Sadly on this occasion my stay was marred by the huge building works that were around three sides of my room and even on the rooms on the first floor directly under my room. I attended reception and was offered a room change but having been assured that the work would soon cease, and would not be continued during the rest of my stay, I decided not to go through the inconvenience of changing rooms. The noise stopped some two hours later. The following day, Saturday, all was quiet until the afternoon when banging on the floor of the room from the room beneath mine led me to attempt to find the cause. The works were extensive and enveloped the room I was in and in the corresponding rooms on the floor below. The workman apologised and the noise ceased - he had been knocking a hole in the wall. I have no complaints about breakfast or the staff other than surprise that on one occasion communication had to be done via Google Translator. I am surprised in view of the extensive nature of the rebuilding works that the room I was in was ever used, a point I made to reception, and that Booking .com were not aware of these works or, if they knew, omitted to pass this information on at time of booking. The room I was in, 237, was probably the most affected and I accept that normally I would be out during the day but sadly the weather was very inclement. I would stay here again but would seek reassurance at time of booking that the modernisation works were finished.

It was right by the Port. Our ferry got in late middle of night , there was 24hr staff to check us in Everything close by bars,restaurants, shops and chemist The facilities were very good even a fridge in room Excellent value for money
