I stayed here over a long weekend with two friends from college and our families, including 9 children ages 3-12. We don't get together often and this was the perfect place to relax & reconnect. Rose has thought of EVERYTHING. It felt like an "open and go" vacation. We brought clothes and food, but everything else we needed was provided. The kids spent hours swimming & kayaking in the pond. We were impressed that there were enough boats and paddles for everyone! It wasn't just one kayak or canoe. When the kids finally did come inside they immediately picked up play in the game room. If you've ever been around 9 kids you know how hard it can be for the adults to have an uninterrupted conversation :) This was just not the case at the Cottage - the kids were so busy playing and having fun that the adults were truly able to relax and reconnect. We were floored by every little detail - the kitchen was stocked with everything - even to-go food containers to store our leftovers. There were towels and linens galore + extra in every closet, a washer and dryer, a game closet filled with activities for all ages. I can't think of one thing I'd add. The house itself is gorgeous - well built with natural light pouring in from all the windows. It was immaculately clean. The beds were comfortable. We loved everything about this gem of a rental and are already planning our next trip!!

We stayed here for the night before and after a wedding at Rivercrest and it worked out perfectly. Plenty of room, clean, and very nice environment. Would highly recommend for a bridal party.

I had the most incredible weekend at the Cottage at Maple Pond, celebrating with my friends on a relaxing girls' weekend. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the charm and coziness of the cottage..even though it’s large enough to fit 12-14 😂 . The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring we had restful nights after all the laughter and fun by the firepit. What truly impressed us was how well-stocked the house was. It seemed like the host had thought of everything - from kitchen essentials like SEASONINGS and cooking oils (we always forget this stuff) to video games and firewood, it was all there for us to enjoy. We spent our time by the pond, around the fire and the large dining tables making unforgettable memories and soaking in the serene atmosphere. Speaking of the host, they were simply awesome. Friendly, accommodating, and always ready to help with any questions or requests we had. And let's not forget those incredible homemade cookies that welcomed us upon arrival - they were a delightful treat and set the tone for the whole weekend. Overall, the Cottage at Maple Pond provided the perfect backdrop for our girls' weekend, and I can't recommend it enough. It was a fantastic getaway filled with fun, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime. Can’t wait to bring my family here!

This was such an amazing vacation experience- from start to finish. The level of thoughtfulness was extraordinary! From sending us a welcome video after booking, to mailing us magnets and packing lists and local attractions, we felt taken care of well before we even arrived. Our hosts literally thought of EVERYTHING. I’ve never experienced a more well-stocked kitchen (spices, oil, cookware, bakeware, extra paper towel, etc.). We had freshly-baked cookies awaiting us, a stocked drink fridge, an impressive coffee and tea bar, a s’mores kit and fun gifts and tote bag for the kids, the list goes on and on! It was clean and smelled fresh too. No bugs or spiders to be found inside (this is impressive lol)! We appreciated the abundance of firewood and chairs around the campfire. This is literally the first vacation home where we were able to fit all 13 of our family at ONE impressive viking-sized kitchen table! Even if it would’ve rained the whole time, the game room basement would definitely have kept us all occupied! The pond felt clean enough to swim in and not scummy at all (although we loved the outdoor shower for afterward!). We had a blast using the paddleboard and kid-sized and adult-sized kayaks. We would go back again in a heartbeat! Worth every penny.

We booked for a very private wedding. It was a perfect space for this. We had a wonderful time with both families. Very private and fun.

Our group has visited the Cottage at Maple Pond twice and we unanimously agree that the Cottage is just about perfect! First off, the lodgings are roomy and clean, the bedrooms all have comfortable beds and bedding, the kitchen is large (with a large fridge/freezer, too!) and a dining room table that seats 12 people. The deck also has a large table for 10 people and we greatly enjoyed grilling and eating outside. There is a covered porch by the front door which was a great place to escape for reading and peace and quiet. The sitting fire ring is surrounded by comfortable adirondack chairs, and there is also a large 10-seater picnic table and small picnic table for children nearby. The game / TV room was used many times, but we had such great weather you could usually find us enjoying the hammocks (there are 3 of them!). The best part of all was the lake - wow oh wow! There is a large floating pad for several people, in addition to many floating chairs and noodles, plus kayaks and a canoe. One person fished from the dock and caught (and released) several fish. I saw some nice birds (cedar waxwings, Carolina wrens, and eastern kingbirds) and enjoyed sitting on the dock at dusk and listening to the birds in the quiet of the evening. Rose and Brian have done a spectacular job with this house and made us feel comfortable and safe. We will definitely return!

We just got married here with 10 of our closest family members! We stayed 3 nights and the place had everything we needed! We enjoyed the private pond, all the arcade games in the basement and most of all just the beautiful scenery on the property! Rose is available for easy communication! She even had her delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies awaiting upon our arrival and a s’mores kit from a local business! We also enjoyed a fair in the local town! A lot of history in this small little cute town.

Every year the ladies in my family get together for our annual Woman-to-Woman Retreat. This year we stayed at this beautiful home. The stay could not have been any more perfect. The house was so clean, stocked with everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, the amenities (game room, kayaking, canoe, hot tub, etc) were perfect, and working with the management team was so delightful. From the moment I registered they were more than helpful. I highly recommend this location to families wanting to get away. We can't wait to try out another one of their properties in the future.

Rose is the best host I have come across. She was extremely proactive in checking in with us if we had questions or needs. The property was immaculate, the kitchen had everything we needed including a griddle, a nice blender and a lighter for birthday candles that I had forgotten. She knew there was a special occasion we were coming to celebrate and was so kind to leave a special decoration for my mom. All 17 of us mentioned at least every hour, “This place is incredible”. I can’t gush enough about Rose and her beautiful property.

The Cottage at Maple Pond is lovely, nestled in a serene and beautiful setting. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bedrooms and bathrooms nicely outfitted with linens and supplies. Our host provided very open lines of communication, from the time of booking until our departure. Fresh chocolate chip cookies heralded our arrival! Our family enjoyed the spacious indoor spaces for gathering around the fireplace and we especially appreciated the large table for gathering for meals and board games! The lower level recreational opportunities were amazing and enjoyed by all. The cottage interior was very clean and welcoming, and the exterior boasted a nice flat, paved walkway between our vehicles and the cottage entrance. We will certainly return for another family vacation! Thank you for hosting an amazing experience for our family!

Beautiful house with enough room for our large group. We had 7 couples and a few adult singles and it was perfect for our needs and my 60th birthday gathering. Looking forward to our next visit 😊

I have to say the biggest thing that stuck out for me was when I was going to bed, I never heard a place so quiet and peaceful. My most favorite is the stunning view of the lake from every window and position from each outdoor venue. Since we weren’t able to use the property to it’s entirety for a great summer day, the house has enough to make any venture an amazing experience. And let me not forget Rose, our host. Hands down the best host ever and very personable.

This was a birthday weekend for my friends and I. Rose was so attentive, and the place was absolutely gorgeous. From the clean and spacious accommodations to the cookies and balloons waiting for us we could not have asked for more. I highly recommend this property to anyone. My group of friends plans to come back in the summer for more fun.

This property was amazing! We had booked this house for our wedding party during our wedding weekend. Property was super clean. Lots to do on the property as well. Rose was also very easy to communicate with and get in touch with if we needed anything. Would definitely book through her again!

This house was perfect for our family staying here during our daughters wedding at Rivercrest Farm. The house was spotless, beautifully detailed and supplied to the max. Beds were so comfortable. This has been the best experience we have ever had through VRBO. Rose went above and beyond to make our stay spectacular !! My husband and I rented this house for us and our families to stay for our daughter’s wedding.This was one of the best rentals I have ever had. It was beyond expectations. There wasn’t anything the owner had not thought of having available as an amenity. The interior was beautiful and warmly decorated for the fall. The outside was incredible. Beautiful deck, yard, lake with swimming dock and fire pit. Unfortunately not the time of year for water sports but perfect for fires and hot tub. Loved everything to do in the game room. The guest house was just as great. Definitely want to come back when the weather is warmer. Highly recommend.

From beginning to end, my friends and me were amazed. This is our 6th ladies weekend, but the first time here. We have never had such better service or a beautiful clean place like this one. Rose is very responsive to any questions. The place cottage was a little further from the house than expected and only had one bathroom, but the place was super cute and we made it work. We just loved the cute touches like the coffe/tea bar that was stocked! And all the essentials were there!

This is a beautiful property with plenty of room for a large group. The house looks and smells clean. Lot's of things to do at the house and a short drive to Amish country.

This place was perfect! I could not think of anything I would change. The house is amazing, the fire pit perfect, the pond is beautiful and the hot tub relaxing. It is a gorgeous, private setting in the woods. It was the icing on the cake for our daughter's wedding.

This is most definitely an amazing property, we felt like we were at home. Everything was so clean in both the cabin and main house. We would live here full time if we could! All the extra games in the basement was enjoyed by all the adults. Outside was also awesome with all the extra kayaks, fire pit and zip line!!! We may make this an effort to visit every year. 15/10 stars!!!!!!

It has been on our bucket list to get all of our children and grandchildren together at the same time under one roof… it finally happened and we could not have picked a better location! The Cottage at Maple Pond had a gorgeous private pond with stocked fish, canoes, zip line, water toys, fishing gear, huge hot tub, arcade games, basketball arcade, skeet ball, karaoke, corn hole, and the list goes on and on. You will not run out of things to do no matter what time of year that you choose to visit! The kitchen has absolutely everything you will need, including a beautifully stocked coffee bar. The beds are ultra comfy and there are plenty of extra linens if needed. There are even playpens for the wee ones! Rose thought of every last detail! She even had a fresh batch of the most delicious chocolate chip cookies (they were huge!) waiting for us. I could rave for days about this place, and every pay word is the truth! We had the getaway of a lifetime and our hearts are so full! Thank you Rose!! Highly recommend this place!

I highly recommend this property! There were so many activities for kids and adults-we were never bored! Lots of space in a quiet area and Rose was quick to answer questions that came up. We celebrated my parents' 50th anniversary and they were greeted with "Happy Anniversary" balloons (from Rose) upon our arrival (in addition to cookies and ground coffee from local stores). I can't recommend this place (and Rose as a host!) enough. You won't be disappointed!
