Although we didn’t go through checkin, the unloading process was very congested with no property employee directing the process. The unit we rented was clean, aside from a small dirty towel that was left on the balcony chair. However, the hotel itself needed more attention to cleaning. Our kids didn’t even want to go in the game room because it seemed dirty and smelly. The washer in the unit wouldn’t spin out properly and, I didn’t receive feedback when I reached out regarding this issue. This was a big inconvenience as we couldn’t keep fresh bath/beach towels. When departing Saturday morning part of our group was stuck on the elevator for about 10 minutes, which was scary and time consuming. We had to carry items down 6 flights of stairs in the heat. An employee who happened to be on that end of the building was very helpful and, even helped carry our stuff. We did enjoy our beach trip with our family.

The condo itself is nice, but a little dated as you can see from the photos. It was also not very clean, as there was stray hair everywhere and the side tables were sticky. The overall property was not very nice or clean, although there are a lot of amenities. Our biggest issue was dealing with the property manager. I’m in my 60s and had some trouble figuring out the check-in instructions on the app. I called the property manager, (it says call her with any questions!) and she was extremely rude about it, and acted like it was a major inconvenience to walk me through the directions to get into the property. We also had issues with the washer in the unit. Instead of sending someone to fix it when we let her know, she had my son on the phone asking him to troubleshoot the machine and turn on and off the breakers to try to fix it. When he complained about the time it was taking out of our last day of vacation, she got angry and was rude again. She did eventually send someone out to fix it. Whoever owns this property should seriously consider finding a new property manager, as Rufia is not friendly or accommodating.

We had the best time and had lots of space. Can't wait to visit again!

Everything was good except that the elevator would not work on the 6th floor. We could get up to the 6th floor however the call button on that floor would not bring the elevator.

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful property. The resort had all the amenities we could want. The unit was super clean and had everything we needed and the layout was perfect. We spent many mornings and evenings on the large balcony. The kitchen had all the appropriate utensils so we were able to cook in. Close to activities and restaurants, short walk to the beach, well-kept and clean pool, friendly people, easy check-in and check-out. Rufia responded quickly to the only question I had. We made many great memories and would gladly stay here again.

Ocean Reef is a wonderful resort and this 4 bedroom condo has plenty of space. Kitchen is very well equipped for cooking meals. Would definitely stay again.

Great experience! Had one issue and it was fixed immediately. Rufia took care of all our needs and explained the whole process from check in to check out. Will definitely be back to this property or maybe even try one of the other properties she owns.

Everything was tip top! The manage always got back to me and answered all my questions. The room was very clean. The housekeeping service allowed us late check-out. Three of the 4 bedrooms had an amazing view of the beach and ocean. Firework show almost every night. We made tons of family memories. Every night we would sit on the balcony and enjoy the sound of the waves. Thank you for a great experience!

Great views. Very clean and smelled like bleach when we first got there, which was good with us. There were left over chairs, umbrella, and sand toys which was great. Plenty of room for 10 of us. Could use new frying pans though. Owner got back quickly with any concerns.

This was our first time vacationing in Myrtle Beach and we had such a great stay in this condo. The location was perfect, so many different things to do within a couple of miles. We enjoyed the beach and the pools, the staff at Ocean Reef were so friendly!! The view of the ocean was just awesome from the balcony, sunrises were spectacular!! There was plenty of room in this 4 bedroom condo on the 6th floor that accommodated my family of 12. Our host Rufia was very helpful and so quick to answer any questions I had. If I had to make any minor recommendations I would suggest to upgrade the coffee pot to a Keurig and a new blender in the kitchen. I just loved being there and won't hesitate to go back, we all were very comfortable and had a fun filled week!!!

Overall, our stay was pleasant and met our needs. Property looked a little more worn and smaller than pictures, but that seems to be the norm. It had a 4 star rating, but felt it more like a 3-1/2. Missing a couple of shower curtains at check-in, but rectified immediately upon notification. Owner was very quick to respond to all questions prior and during our stay. Location and property amenities were perfect for our 8 YO grandson; all adults enjoyed the magnificent view and the convenience of being on the beach.

Family of 9 enjoying the sand, pools and weather at the Ocean Reef on Myrtle Beach for a week of fun. Perfect location, every where we went was either 15-20 minutes north or south. We cooked breakfast in condo then for supper ate at a variety of restaurants. For once you could go down to the pool and not see multiple towels saving chairs. Having the multiple pools for different age groups made it easy for my family to enjoy the water. My favorite was sitting on the patio looking at the ocean and hearing the waves.

We had such an enjoyable time at Myrtle Beach for spring break and this condo was perfect for us. We have four kids (ages 6-12) and it was all the space we needed. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The heated outdoor pool and indoor lazy river area were great since it was cool outside over spring break. What more can I say? Our family loved it!
