Wonderful home to stay in, larger than expected and in a beautiful neighborhood. Only qualms were that the property owner wasn’t responsive to text sent to the contact numbers left on the profile and no baking tray for the oven.

Loved strolling down to Noah's for bagels every morning and wandering down Solano watching the sun set in the evening. The private deck is just right for morning coffee or tea - lots of privacy and sunlight. Enough space for the four of us, but we did occupy all the seating available when watching TV. Wonderful neighbourhood for walking if you don't mind some hills.

Clean and spacious. Had everything needed for a week's stay. Very quiet, considering it is at base of a large traffic circle. Fountain that lights up at night in the middle of the traffic circle is a nice touch. Close to Tilden park entrance in North Berkeley and shopping/restaurants in Adjoining Albany.

We stayed one night. It is located close to family. The house itself was comfortable and clean. Very spacious. Has a front courtyard and a nice balcony. The fountain in the traffic circle outside is a nice touch

We just wanted you to know that the dishwasher had standing water in it and smelled like something died in it. So we hand washed. I don’t want you to get charged for that. mosquitos and weird bugs flying in. there were also bugs in shower it was nice and spacious though they didn’t include someone lives right under you so you don’t really receive all the privacy you think your getting

My family stayed at the house to visit my son at UC Berkeley. We bought lots of groceries prior to arriving at the house. Once we got to the house, we found out the refrigerator was broken. When I called the property manager, she knew it was broken, but didn’t let me know. She said she would call me the next day and never did. When I called, no one answered. We had to throw out our perishables. The owner bought a tiny refrigerator for us to use, but it was only large enough to hold one soda can so it was completely useless. The property isn’t really a whole house, there’s an apartment underneath. When the tenants talk, it sounds like they’re in the house. The house isn’t cared for. The outdoor trash cans were so full, there wasn’t room for trashbags. There are no hand towels. Just a bath towel per person to use for everything in the bathroom. The pods for the coffee machine are the wrong size and can’t be used. The clothes washer has mold in it. The mattress in the master bedroom can rise via remote control but of course there’s no battery. The beds only have a fitted sheet, so the comforter on top of you has been used by countless other people. The comforters don’t even have a duvet cover that can be washed. The location is great, even though the house is on a very busy street. There are lots of nice restaurants within walking distance.

Pros: great location and view; plenty of room for the 2 of us. Cons: pretty sparsely stocked (e.g., no hand towels/washcloths for kitchen or bath and no plug for bath tub; minimal cooking utensils/supplies, etc)

Girls night with my daughter turned into a small sleepover with my daughter and 4 of her 16 yro cousins who had missed their 16th celebration due to the pandemic.I was surprised when we pull up, there was already a car parked there, I didn’t recall the listing stating someone lived on the property.Check in was easy and simple with a 4 digit code provided by the owner.The place was nicely decorated though dated and the dining chairs and couch were filthy!! Email from owner states there was a cleaning service that comes in but the floors were filthy and there was tape everywhere from a previous party.The kitchen was listed as fully stocked. There were some basic supplies but the drawer with pots and pans was stuck. Thankfully I brought already prepared food but in the morning I had to use the one pan I located in another drawer to make breakfast. There weren’t any potholders, sponges or dish soap to clean up. I used the single white towel hanging from the oven door as a potholder and to wipe down the countertops. The trash in the kitchen was tiny and there wasn’t any extra trash bags so I used grocery bags I’d brought.The living/dining room had the only TV. There was also a PS4 but my daughter brought her own. The rugs in the listing wasn’t there but it was nice enough.The bedrooms were clean and simple though the pillows were terrible and blankets way too thin.The white bath towels left in the bedrooms were dingy and didn’t include face towels. I’d suggest colored towels for quest.Both bathrooms were extremely dated and didn’t have any soap, which may have been due to the pandemic but I wasn’t prepared for it. The common bathroom had a bottle of conditioner in the shower which may have been left by previous renters.As you walk through the house you could tell the floors had a serious tilt and felt a bit weak.I had a lot of trouble sleeping in this house. Every room in the house had huge cracks on the walls above the doorframes and windows. I was afraid the house was going to crumble and slide down the hill. This may have been an overreaction but I had kids there! The dinning room turned bedroom that I slept in had a chandelier hanging over the bed that looked like it was going to fall!10:40 am as we were leaving 2 men were in the yard and didn’t introduce themselves. I had a to ask the one entering the house if he was the owner.Overall not what I expected but my daughter was happy which was all that mattered.

My family needed a place for a longer stay. This location is great for families with parks and food walkable. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. We would stay here again if the opportunity arose.

This stay was better that i anticipated. There were toys for my 5 year old to play with and the home was cozy/clean. My son loved this place!

We are from Oakland but we stayed here for a one night staycation to celebrate my birthday. The house has a nice open flow and great patio off the living room. Bit of a busy intersection due to the circle but such a nice neighborhood to walk around and look at the other huge houses. Only a few blocks from Indian Rock too which was nice to walk to for some sunset views!

The location and the home itself are wonderful. The layout was great for our family of five, and the house had all the essentials we needed. Nadia was very responsive, communicative, and friendly, and checking in and out was seamless. Very highly recommend.

The property as well as the neighborhood speaks for itself, the home is wonderful as well as the beautiful view you can see from the patio as well as almost every room. I can go on and on about our stay but to sum it all up , from here on out we will ONLY be looking to stay here thanks again for being a great Host Nadia !

Had to buy our own tp, paper towels and batteries for remote. Sliding glass door did not lock. Rug in living room was really dirty. Needs a handyman to fix a lot around the house

Overall myself and two friends had a great time spending our weekend here. House was beautiful, great location and very comfortable beds, however there were a few things that we felt the need to address. Once arriving we contacted the owner for the manual for wifi info and how to go around taking care of the place for the weekend but we were told the previous renters misplaced it so we were informed the manual would be sent through the app. Never received the manual. When we asked about it a second time we were told the same, it was misplaced, but didnt follow up on sending it at a later time as mentioned. Asked for the wifi info multiple times and finally got the info half way into the weekend. The deck was beautiful and so was the scenery but there were all kinds of spider webs and the cute outdoor lights did not work. Had a hard time with the TV, cable remote batteries were dead so only one channel was available to watch and took some time to figure out how to access Netflix. Seems although the floor does not get cleaned, within minutes of walking around barefoot our feet were very dirty! Many of the dishes were dirty and ALL had to be washed. Bathrooms were clean and had plenty soap/shampoo/conditioner and towels available which was great! Overall we did enjoy our stay but this house does seem to need a lot more TLC!

The house itself has a beautiful setting, with a pretty courtyard in front and nice deck outside in back. However, the house was not clean at all. The rug you see in the pictures underneath the couch is absolutely filthy. The couch has big stains on it. Same thing with the dining room chairs. We realized if we walked around on the beautiful hardwood floors in our bare feet they got filthy very quickly. So… You get the picture.… The house is not clean. To be fair, the bathrooms were clean, the beds were very comfy. The bedding was weird in that there was not a top sheet so you slept underneath the coverlet. This probably wouldn’t have been so creepy to think about except for the fact that so much of the house was not clean one had to wonder if those were washed frequently. Initially communication via messaging with the host went well. However, toward the end of our visit hours would go by before she would respond. We got conflicting information, telling us that the directory for the home should be there and was just moved by the prior occupant. Then we were Told it had been removed due to Covid. 🤷�🏻�‍♀️ Also messaged her about how to connect to Netflix. Took over 12 hours to get a response. We got a response on midnight the night before we were leaving. Cannot recommend this place. I have pictures to support what I am telling here.

The house is beautiful and restful. Lovely view of the trees and a well equipped kitchen. Check in was easy and the owner very responsive to any requests. The neighborhood is great, walking distance to Solano and a short walk to Indian Rock park to view the sunset. I highly recommend this property.

Good location for a family get together

Our group of 6 friends had a great stay in this Berkeley house. No problems whatsoever, great location, and plenty of room. I would definitely stay here again.

It had good sized beds for all of the 3 adult couples traveling together. It had everything we needed, except air conditioning... we were there in a heat wave.

Our little family had a lovely stay here. The house is lovely with plenty of space to spread out, and the neighborhood is unbeatable -- walking distance to shops and the world's best pizza on Solano Avenue, the original Peet's Coffee off Shattuck and Monterey Market, where we procured ingredients for a delicious summer pasta. We hope to stay again.

We enjoyed our stay in Thousands Oaks. The house is quite spacious. The beds are large and comfortable. The location is great for walking and Uber. Nadia was a great communicator. Check in and check out was a breeze.
