This was a great place for grandparents, parents and young adult kids. The pool was fantastic and the outdoor area had plenty of seating. We spent a lot of time outside. It could use a few upgrades, like box springs under a few of the mattresses, a new handle on the fridge, new couch for stain on the cushion, and that would make this place amazing. But despite that, I would still go back here. Owner responses to questions, and overall experience was great.

Everything was perfect, from check-in to check-out easy process. The house was recently remodeled with new refrigerator and new accent walls, that surprised us. House was extremely clean and we had a wonderful time. The location is amazing too. We didn’t want leave to house to explore. The outside is with brand new coaches and an amazing jacuzzi, TVs everywhere. Overall 10/10. I definitely recommend this house and for sure will be booking again. I had a group of 12 people and everyone slept very comfortably!

This house has been ridden hard over the years, the furniture is gross, the walls have stains all over them, the ceiling fans don’t work, freezer is broken to name a few issues. The pool was great and probably the highlight of the house. We were a group of 7 men on a golf trip who could look past a dirty beat up house. If I brought my family we would have looked for a hotel in place of this VRBO.

Family group stayed here for a week. Nice layout and excellent outdoor area. Hot tub and pool were a definite highlight. We often hung out outside. Great fake grass and seating areas with an outdoor TV. The place needs a deep clean. The floor was swept, but people's socks would be black after a few minutes because the floor was so dirty. The couch in the living room is really really gross and honestly has to be replaced immediately. There were quiet a few small things that were broken (shower rod, leaking ceiling, mold in ice machine, freezer handle missing, batteries missing in remote controls) that added up. Bottom line is that this is a nice place with a little TLC could be a top notch stay.

We booked this home for a much needed family trip in November. There were 4 adults and 3 young children. House itself was spacious and lots of outdoor area to lounge around. The day bed was a hit, TVs in most rooms and outside. As stated in other reviews (and I was hoping they were false) the house needs some TLC. The pictures advertised are somewhat accurate. Yes a very modern home with nice features given the high end appeal but the amount of dings and scuffs in the walls and broken items starts to take the feel away. Pool being heated is a bonus and great size kitchen for cooking. The couch needs to be tossed or professionally stram cleaned. It is stained and gross. We would lay towels on it while sitting. Theses are all minor things that you will notice but will not ruin your stay. Owner was easy to contact and answered our questions. Area of house location was a nice quite location. Phoenix is a beautiful place with lots to do with kids.

The property was exactly as listed, and convenient to restaurants, golf courses and other activities.

Pros: - great backyard, pool was perfect for our group - comfortable beds - location was perfect, close to everything - high end finishes in kitchen and bathrooms - host was responsive - high chair and pack n play at the home Cons: -Wall scent plug ins made a very strong smell in the house. - broken freezer and worn down furniture, wear and tear in the house - kitchen drawers had a lot of junk in them Overall, still a 5 star stay. The cons didn’t ruin our trip but made me want to try a different house when we go back.

The house is good for what we needed it for, which was a bachelorette party. First and foremost my biggest issues were the lack of communication from the owner and the camera that is inside the house. I had to send 3-4 follow up messages to get a response from the owner and eventually the day before we arrive and while we’re staying, no responses at all. So do not expect much communication or help on that front. The camera in the house is very creepy, I’m pretty sure they have to disclose that to you but they didn’t. The house is nice but some things were not working (lights, fans, slow drains, water pressure, broken freezer drawer, etc.) and we also are pretty sure the coffee maker has never been cleaned because it tasted awful and sour even when trying different coffee grounds and washing everything. There is also not even close to enough seating for that house. The couch is also kind of gross/smelly. All in all it was fine for what we needed it for, but we were definitely disappointed and frustrated by several things.

This home was amazing!

The home looks just like the pictures, beautiful home and kitchen! The location is great, close to everything! Would definitely recommend this home. Only 2 cons were you could see into the front bedroom from outside at night (adding blinds in the corner window would block this) and the camera out back by the pool, not sure if it’s angled at the pool.

We had a wonderful experience. It was spacious enough that the 7 of us could spread out in all the beds but still had plenty of room to gather in different areas. We noticed the air vent and floors could use a good cleaning but we would still stay here again.

The place is spacious! Plenty of towels (pool towels/smalltowels/etc) Theres a filtered drinking water system. Pool was clean and heated. All of the beds were so comfortable. We went as a group of 9 ladies and it was perfect. There is a cabinet with games to play and another cabinet with previous bach parties that stayed there so if anyone is celebrating you have decorations you can use. The location of the house was quiet and safe and close to everything. I would recommend this place for anyone with a larger group (less than 10).

Our family has a terrific experience at Martijn's place. Our daughter loved playing in the heated pool with tons of inflatables and pool toys to use. The location is great in a safe, quiet neighborhood with quick access to Scottsdale, Mesa, Tempe and Phoenix. All the bachelorette party props on site were a nice plus as we were celebrating my wife's birthday. We initially had an issue upon arrival as we were granted an early check-in but the door code hadn't been activated yet when we arrived, so it took a few phone calls and text messages to get that squared away. Once it was, everything was terrific. Would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I were planning a get away and when searching for a place to stay the description of “brand new” and “luxury” caught our eye. The pictures listed of a beautiful home, heated pool, and amazing tub checked all our boxes for a luxurious relaxing vacation. However, we were disappointed that this home was not brand new and luxurious and more so a hot spot for large parties and groups. Upon arrival a few minutes after the check in time listed, the house keepers were still cleaning up from previous guests; annoying, but we were glad it was getting cleaned. When we got settled, it was disturbing to see a stained and worn couch, dirty/ damaged walls, broken cupboards, dented fridge, and filthy patio furniture. All outdoor furniture extremely worn and stained. These things made it hard to relax and have fun and I felt like the description and other reviews gave a false impression of the house. Things we did enjoy was check in was easy and communication with the host was good. We enjoyed the heated pool, location, and comfortable bedrooms. The house is stocked with towels, bedding, and kitchen supplies to be able to enjoy the house. I probably wouldn’t choose this place again knowing the furniture is filthy, stained, and the outdoor area was also very dirty. I can see this is a great venue for large parties and bachelorettes but not a luxurious relaxing getaway.

We had the most amazing stay at this house and will absolutely stay again! Host was 5 star, so responsive and helpful and the house was absolutely beautiful! The master bedroom and bathroom were very luxurious with a stand alone tub, double sink and lots of space. The whole house was very well equipped with all the amenities you need and laid out so well! We especially loved the backyard with the outdoor TV, pool with floaties, cornhole and bar! I was a wonderful stay and would highly recommend.

Communication before we stayed at the property, the property manager was very responsive. We arrived on a Thursday and the last time I spoke to the property manager was when we were in route to the home. I texted the property manager during our stay about minor things just more of an FYI and received no response. When we departed I text the property manager and much longer detailed text and received no response. Kind of strange but I guess that how he chose to handle us as guests. Overall the property was clean. You can tell the property is used as a rental, the outside patio furniture was dirty and stained from wear and the inside white seating and sofa also were permanently stained from wear. The house had a decent amount of wear and tear you can tell from previous guests, damage and dings to walls etc. The bathrooms and bedrooms were neat and tidy. We brought and used our own towels and were grateful we did as the towels were stained and worn. I can’t say that we would stay and again and can’t say that we wouldn’t. I would just say I’m pretty neutral. The communication with the property manager just disappearing once we arrived literally until we left was a bit off putting.

The house is immaculate. It was a perfect setting for me and my husband, my mother in the 2nd master, and my 3 boys each had their own bed. The pool is small but we had a blast in it. We didn't need it to be any bigger. We would come back for sure!

The house was great for our stay for moving our daughter (out of state) to ASU in Tempe. The location of the house was perfectly positioned between ASU and Old Town Scottsdale (about 5-7 minutes to each!) and easy from the airport. Extremely convenient, nice size, great amenities.

Wife and I took a little mid week getaway here to soak up the triple digit temps. The design of the house is great and exactly our style so felt right at home. Much more space than we would ever need, so will definitely be coming back with a group of friends to enjoy it with us. We didn't bother with a rental car and just Uber'd around, which was more than fine because you are minutes from downtown. Felt nice sitting around the pool, putting on the green now and then, and playing cornhole. It was too hot to really want to use the hot tub, but it looked new and is a nice feature maybe in the cooler seasons. All the electronics in the house are nice and easy to use. All the TV's have soundbars and are quick to connect too for streaming video and music, we were able to watch a movie on the outside TV one of the nights which was cool. Plenty of good restaurants nearby and hit some of the night life which was fun even on a mid week. Thanks for having us and we look forward to returning in the future!

House was beautiful and modern. Perfect size pool for the 3 of us and house came stocked with towels, spare linen, full kitchen etc. House can fit many guests and has multiple bathrooms which made the stay very comfortable
