4 of us flew out to see a buddy and the place was perfect. This was our second time staying here. It had more than enough beds, blankets, and towels. We also met the host who was super nice.

Appropriately sized. All went well. The family living upstairs was loud at times, but we weren't there all that much. Overall pretty good.

We were concerned because it was advertised as having only one bedroom, but there was plenty of space and privacy for all five of us.

This was perfect to sleep 4+ adults. Although we didn’t go to the beach, it wasn’t too far from it and would’ve been a nice walk. The owner response was very quick and they helped to answer any questions that we had during our stay.

It was a beautiful little place that was perfect for the three of us. We would definitely come back and stay again – close to everything very clean and reasonable.

Amazing location and wonderful place;)

This was an awesome place to stay for 5 days in La Jolla. Though it was small, the place was well designed to house 3 adults and 2 young kids. Great location and close to the ocean. We loved it!!

Property was in an amazing neighborhood. Walked to oceanview cliff every morning! The place was very clean and bed and furons were comfortable. Some issues with cable and wifi but they immediately responded.

Fantastic way to share a Thanksgiving together with older kids who live in San Diego!

Great guest house a few blocks from the beach. Easily slept 3 people and had all you’d need.

The property was in a safe residential area, walking distance through beautiful area to beach. I had a wonderful stay and plan in coming again.

We enjoyed this property very much. How the bedding looks, feels, and smells is really important to us! And it was all great! It was close to the beach and restaurants. Recommend!

We had a blast at the property during our summer vacation .Starting from check in ,everything was smooth and easy. Clean,well maintained ,fully stuffed for family stay. You definitely can say that the owner is a handyman that takes a good care of the house. We have two teenagers who had their own ikea futons in the living room and i had a king size bed and my husband another ikea futon in the bedroom. Tons of pillows and blankets, shampoos, body washes ,soap ,all the kitchen accessories and cleaning supplies, laundry supplies, everything that you may need for a comfortable stay. We stayed for 9 nights and definitely will come back. And one more location is just amazing. 6 minutes walking to see an ocean sunset and get a cup of coffee or breakfast , or even dinner ,7 minutes driving to the Mission beach and 15 minutes driving to La Jolla shores Beach! Thank you so much! We are looking forward to come back!

It’s the right amount of space for our family on our second year at the property. The home is nice. Their son was very nice and pleasant to converse with. We love coming home o this property and look forward to coming back

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and in a safe location.

Our family of 6 stayed here 5 nights for an extended weekend. The futons were great so my 4 teens each got their own bed. We did have to make up the beds on arrival, but there was plenty of bedding. The king bed in master bedroom was soft and comfy. There were tons of throw pillows, so we stashed them in the bedding closet. This place has 2 bathrooms which was great for a group our size. The master shower is in the bedroom, not the bathroom, so that was a little weird with privacy, but we made it work. We spent very little time at the place, mostly just to eat, sleep, and shower. We got prepared meals at Costco and heated them in the oven. Kitchen was adequate, with a full sized fridge/freezer. This isn’t a super fancy place, but a great fit for our budget and a group our size.

Great location for our stay.

The property was well kept and very clean. The neighborhood was great. I felt safe to go out for a walk/jog after dark. There was a parking spot for our car. Location is close to several beaches and a short drive to San Diego zoo, Sea World, USS Midway, and lots of other attractions. The host made sure the property was stocked with everything we could need, from bedding and towels, to coffee and ketchup. The fan and heater both worked well, but the house was at a comfortable temperature most of the time so we did not use them much. I would definitely return to this property in the future.

The property is in a great location. The property is well stocked. However, there is a musty smell to it. They do their best to cover it up with a lot of glade plugins. The property is at the bottom of the house and you can hear the upstairs at all hours. A good place for young people to come in a group because there are three futons and a bed but not a great place for a couple if you're looking for a decent high-end rental.

We had some hiccups with the check-in process, but the owner was super responsive and we worked it out. We had a great stay and the location was perfect for our needs. The street has a crazy hill and it was a little tough to get into the driveway, but going to the top and turning around and coming from that direction made it a lot easier.

The best: location, supply of lovely white bath towels, comfortable quality mattress. The problem: tiney tiny bathrooms, overall living space far too small for 6 adults. Host: very pleasant, but not immediately responsive or overly invested in your concerns. eg:there is no hairdryer - "because they get stolen".

Very comfortable, quiet and clean!

We had this spot as our base for a week in San Diego. It was ideally located for all the kids attractions. There is also grocery stores, pharmacy etc in few mins distance making it a ideal spot for traveling family. The host is very communicative and the entire checkin / checkout was smooth without any contact. However, the best bit happened after our stay. We realized mid way on our way back that we have forgotten a phone. Scott had already tried to contact about the phone and then went out of his way to return it. I would whole heartedly recommend this spot to anyone.

Great spot for a short weekend in San Diego! Plenty of room for a party of 5!! Lots of linens & bedding!

This was a perfect little gem in a perfect little neighborhood. The home was roomy and comfortable. Everything was perfect as described it. We will definitely stay at this property again of the host will have us.

Had all the amenities you could want and was close to bars/restaurants.

It was a cute little place to stay. We used it mostly for sleeping and we're gone during the day visiting the sights and the beaches and a full day at Sea World. Only saw the owner once as we were not there much during the day. The cat upstairs triggered my daughter's allergies as he or she would lay on the outside furniture. But once she figured out what it was once she saw the cat she didn't sit out there for the rest of the trip. Other than that a very nice place to stay. My first trip to San Diego. And I really enjoyed the area and the cottage.
