It was a nice location but never mentioned the main highway around Lake Tahoe was right in front of the house. So it was deceiving in the pictures. This should be stated up front in the pictures. Also, dogs are allowed but there is no fence around the property and with the busy highway at the bottom of the driveway this was concerning. Check in time should be 3 pm. All other rental properties we have stayed at it’s usually 3pm.
It was a very nice house but the deck furniture is in need of replacement, all of it is rickety.
Beautiful location and the manager was very nice! She let us in early!

Classic Tahoe cabin located perfectly across the street from the lake. Beach access nearby, breakfast just a few doors down, wet woody’s at Gar Woods just a short stroll away.

A great base for attending the Winter Wondergrass Music Festival!
Four adults in four bedrooms made it very comfy. Kitchen was well stocked. We loved the old post office for breakfast - you can walk there. Garwoods is also a short walk. Great dog walking opportunities nearby. Heated floors in the bathrooms were a plus. I have nothing negative to say about this lovely home!

This cabin was exact what we needed! The cabin was just the right size and in a great location for our family getaway. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice place to stay with the family.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lodge for Christmas. The lodge was very comfortable and cozy. It was well prepared, as listed upon our arrival. Its a great location off the lake with incredible views. Only slight criticism would be that the bedding was a bit on the hard side but other than that we had a magical time and very memorable Christmas holiday. We'll definitely be planning a future trip to Tahoe and the Greenleaf Lodge will be at the top of our list. 5 stars, thank you Laura

Great place to stay in the Summer.

This cabin has the old Tahoe charm. It is located right across the street from a dog friendly beach. My grandkids loved playing with the beach toys provided. The Old Postoffice cafe was delicious! We had a huge breakfast and could walk to it from the cabin. Less than a half mile away is Garwoods. We sat outside and enjoyed dinner and drinks. I would happily stay here again, thank you for making this family gathering so much fun!

This house was in a great location and we had an amazing time. At other VRBO's we have stayed at the house comes with equipment for the beach. This house had limited towels ( no beach towels) no beach chairs or other things we could have used to go to the beach. Some of the beacheds were rocky so a chair would be nice. We found 1 place across the street that would rent them but found out too late. Overall it was a fantastic time.

I have been renting properties at Carnelian Bay for many years, and this was the best. The house was comfortable, clean and accommodating for my family of 10 and our dog. The proximity to Patton Beach was perfect, and being able to walk to Gar Woods was a bonus. We had a great time!

Cozy escape
Really enjoyed our stay at the Green Leaf! Cozy, clean, warm, and well decorated with attention to detail. The two upstairs bedrooms were perfect four our three kids. Laura was very responsive and friendly. Great location on north side of Tahoe. We'll definitely consider staying here again!

Great place for a family vacation. The Greenleaf looks as good in person as in the pictures. We loved our daily walks at the dog beach and our granddaughter loved the stairs!

Perfect Getaway for your family plus pets
We had an awesome stay at the Greenleaf Lodge. It was immaculate when we walked in and we loved the lights outside that seemed to welcome us home. We were so thankful to find a place that welcomed our 2 dogs. They loved their time at the cabin and especially the dog beach right across the street. The location is fantastic! Thank you for our wonderful stay!!

Perfect Getaway
The cabin was everything I wanted for a ski vacation. Fully stocked with all the essentials and comfortable, large bedrooms to rest in after a day of snowboarding. The location is also amazing. Couldn't have asked for anything more!

A Beautiful Respite from the daily grind
The cabin was so big, yet cozy. The heated floors were wonderful. Everyone had their own room. We will make this part of our winter season every year.

Such a wonderful place....
My friends and I came to celebrate a birthday and brought along our dogs. I’m pretty picky and was a little unsure about what we’d really find. This house is so great!! 4 large bedrooms that all had big windows that let fresh air in. 2 super clean bathrooms. A very well supplied kitchen and cozy dining area. Loved sitting in the living room with the fire going. And the peek a boo view!! So close to the lake. A 5 minute walk to a gorgeous dog friendly beach. We are already making plans for a return stay. Truly a perfect place to stay!!

Wonderful getaway
We had a wonderful stay at the Greenleaf Lodge. Well equipped cabin, comfortable beds, great location and beautiful scenery. There are cabins near by but it felt like we were quite secluded. Lots of storage space, heated bathroom floors were so nice and we appreciated plenty of hand soap and supplies to do laundry. Overall- great stay and would love to return again.

Cozy, rustic cabin close to resorts
My family of 3 and 2 dogs loved the property. It is a very warm and cozy place that's close to sledding, skiing, and a short walk to the lake. It is a rustic cabin with comfortable bedding. The living room is not large. The rug in the living room had quite a bit of dog fur embedded in it (we have non-shedding dogs) so our allergies got kicked up a little bit. We just took our allergy medication and it was fine. The bedrooms are large and comfortable. Although the driveway is off the main road, the place is very quiet. My family can't wait to come back in the summer.

Tour de Tahoe Stay
Three of us stayed here for three nights during the annual bike around Tahoe. The place was very clean and comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Great location as well. Could have accommodated two more easily..each with own bed.
I would definitely stay here again!

Cozy Cabin with Perfect Location!
My family and I loved our stay at the Greenleaf. What a beautiful home in the most beautiful place in the world. The view from the deck is to die for. We had many afternoons playing card games on the deck enjoying the sun...and cocktails! The house was extremely clean and the beds were comfortable. A short walk to restaurants and the beach...you can't beat it! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back. :)

Great cabin in a great location!
We rented this cabin for a week’s vacation in July and couldn’t have been happier! Such a comfy, cozy cabin with all the amenities! There were 5 adults and two dogs and we were very comfortable with plenty of room. Highly Recommend this property.

As always, a great vacation!
This is the fifth time we've stayed at The Greenleaf and it continues to fit well with all of the accommodation needs of our growing extended family. We've been staying here from before the cabin renovation to after and simply LOVE it. It's beginning to feel like our own place in Carnelian Bay -- without the mortgage, taxes and repair bills! We are here only in the summer so can't comment on the winter experience, but the location is great and the owners are super nice.

Unique Tahoe Cabin
Perfect for a weekend ski trip with Northstar 20 minutes away and Heavenly 1 hour away. We had 5 adults and the size was perfect, would feel cramped with 8 or 10 people. Easy to find and convenient location. Bring warm socks or slippers:)

The perfect getaway
The green leaf is an absolutely amazing cabin! The location could not be better. It is walking distance from the old post office cafe and Garwoods. The owners have obviously put a lot of love into this cabin. It was so cozy and the heated floors in the bathrooms were awesome! We stayed at the Greenleaf for 5 days and loved every single minute of it. I would highly recommend checking out this area of Lake Tahoe and the green Greenleaf.

Great for family!
Ample bedrooms; loved the heated bathroom floors. Cozy log cabin style close to water and mountain activities. Well equipped. We would definitely go back.

Nice cozy cabin
Our staying was nice. We were ten of us and didn't feel crowded, the cabin is at a good distance from Tahoe Town , also from various sky resorts. I think it is at a good location.
We really enjoyed our time at the cabin, nice, clean and has all your basic needs to do easy cooking .I will go back and stay at this cabin again

Perfect cozy charm
Green leaf surpassed my expectations. The owners obviously take great care of this home and have thought of every detail. Wonderful location. The kitchen has everything you need and the heated bathroom floors were heavenly. The only thing missing was a receiver for listening to music but I made do with my electronic device. I can't wait to stay here again!

We had a very relaxing stay with our kids. It was special to be able to spend quality family time with our kids and our cute little dog during thanksgiving break..
This was truly a very memorable vacation and we strongly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a place to stay here in Tahoe.

Centrally located on the north side of Lake Tahoe... close enough to walk to restaurants, water activities/rental equipment, hiking trails, etc . A gem of a rental property in a beautiful setting!
