Thoroughly loved our stay. House is adorable and in the perfect location if you’re looking for quick and easy access to the town.

This is our favorite place to stay in San Marcos. The casita is lovely as are the hosts. This is the perfect place for a quiet getaway while visiting our son in college. Everything was wonderful. We will be back

The wildlife such as deer made arriving exciting and fun, the hosts were very welcoming & receptive the entire stay and made sure we were comfortable. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax, THIS IS IT!

The little green house was just what we needed when visiting our grandson at Texas State University. It was comfortable and well stocked with everything.

Such a cute little house. Small but not tiny. Very smartly arranged to make it feel spacious. Loved all the windows around the top. Cute decor. Very relaxing and homey. Everything was top notch. New fixtures. Great towels. Fresh flowers in vase in bathroom. Even a little ring box for your jewelry.. you can tell the owners take pride in their home. Pam was very nice and gave us tips. Jimmy Buffett had just passed the day before so we commiserated over that loss. Had margaritas at a great downtown restaurant, Casa Maria. Nice outdoor space but too hot and humid to enjoy. We did see deer in the front yard. Suggestions- an air conditioner in the bathroom could really enhance the experience. The split unit in the main house was great. The Murphy bed was a nice idea if you needed more space. It was comfortable too. Just a nice place to stay. I would definitely recommend it but wait till the Fall if possible. Thanks Pam and Danny.

We were looking for a weekend getaway for the three of us, and La Casita Verde was a great fit! Loved all of the special touches the hosts had thought of to make our stay comfortable. We would definitely stay again. The only room for improvement was the sleeper sofa. There was NO way someone could sleep on the sofa bed. The mattress needs yo be replaced. One of us slept on the couch without pulling out the sofa, and it worked fine, but we would have had issues if we had a party of 4.

Pam and Danny provided the perfect getaway for my girlfriend and I while her daughter attended New Student Orientation at Texas State. They provided everything we needed and look forward to staying there again!!!

I was delighted with this charming country cabin. The space was open and comfortable and just right for me! Pam was a perfect hostess and very welcoming. I will certainly be a repeat guest! Loved it!

Beautiful place just outside the downtown area of San Marcos. Nestled in the country with all kinds of song, birds and other wildlife. Lots of plants and pretty flowers . Very relaxing getaway. :)

Quiet, clean, organized, and comfortable cabin with all full kitchen. Nice tree shaded patio. My son and I were in town for a long weekend of baseball and this was the perfect spot to decompress and prepare for the next day's games. Right down the street from Texas State Univ., river, and downtown. Highly recommended hosts.

In town to visit with my soon to be TXST graduate - wish I had found this place sooner. Cute little cabin with peaceful surroundings - especially love the outdoor seating area! Owner lives on the property and was readily available if we needed anything. The only negative was with the sofa sleeper, which had a very thin and uncomfortable mattress. It was just me on that bed, so I pushed it back in the 2nd night and just slept on the couch quite comfortably. I would definitely stay again.

Host was great. She met us at check in and was very responsive during our stay. The Casita location makes for a relaxing stay, and is very convenient to San Marcos.

Really Cute Bungalow among the oaks, doves and humming birds. Has all you need to enjoy a long weekend. Pam Was great!! Will return! 👍

Great property, very clean and cozy. Really appreciated the orange juice, fruit and water bottles that were left for us to enjoy, would definitely recommend.!

Me and my wife needed to get away for a little bit and we chose to stay at the La Casita Verde. It was a terrific stay! The cabin was just as advertised: clean and just what we needed. The host met us there when we got there and was very helpful in places to go and eat and things to do and see in the area. We will definitely let others know and will come back here when we visit the San Marcos area again. Ben & Cindy

Amazing property and host. Pam was great to work with. Casita is just as described. Great location, well stocked, very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved sitting outside enjoying our morning coffee and having a nightcap. This is such a great find. We will be definitely be back.

My husband and I planned to “tour” San Marcos a a few days before needing to move our son into his dorm for his first year of college. Finding this place was luck. Everything was booked but we couldn’t have found a better place to stay. It’s just far enough to enjoy the peacefulness of the country and close enough to drive into town daily and enjoy the night life and all the great things San Marcos has to offer. It’s literally 3 miles away from The Square and university. We enjoyed the time we spent outdoors and all the hummingbirds and deer around us. We were able to cookout since there’s a grill and a full kitchen. We loved this place and look forward to visiting and staying here again.

This is a nice little property located in a very nice location. If you plan on visiting the San Marcos area, this is a good place to call home for a short time. Really enjoyed our stay.

Very nice little house. Pam was there to greet us. Lots of trees and wildlife. Just a few minutes from the college and outlet malls. I would stay here again.

We love the Texas Hill Country and truly enjoyed our home away from home. Such a lovely area, quite, peaceful and very comfortable.
