The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It's great for a couple or a small family. It's in a quiet neighborhood but walking distance to downtown, grocery store, pharmacy etc. We would definitely stay here again. 😊😊😊

This is our 3rd visit in 3 years to Alexandria Bay and it was the best! We rented a boat from a marina one block away and walked in town each night for dinner so we never really needed our vehicle. The house was very clean, great location and perfect for us!

Close to town, just over 3/4's of a mile to downtown ABay. Fantastic deck and backyard space. Watch for failing boards though. We put side tables over troublesome areas. Short walk to water and Aqua Mania. Would definitely stay there again

We were in the area for 10 days and this was a great home for our stay! We were welcomed with a note from Carol and her husband and some local wine! Carol was easy to communicate with. It was close to the things we wanted to do, in a nice quiet neighborhood. The house had everything we needed. We had friends come for part of our stay, and had read previous reviews about the bedrooms. We took an air mattress, and they slept in the family room, which worked out fine. They had their own bathroom on the first floor. We would definitely stay here again!

This was a perfect place to enjoy the Thousand Islands, and especially the Blues Festival in Alex Bay. So convenient to be able to walk to the venue at the Bay! The house was just right for the two of us. Enjoyed morning coffee on the deck, or on the sun porch. A unique and charming home with nice upgrades. Missed having a TV in the bedroom.

Great place! It really was everything we were looking for: a quiet place that we can rest and recharge. The house was clean and Carol was great with communicating with us! We would love to come back!

We were extremely happy with our stay in this unique home. It was the perfect cozy respite away from the craziness of our wedding activities while we were in town.

We had a wonderful stay at Carol’s place and enjoyed all the extra touches she provided. The deck and grill area were fantastic as well as the well stocked kitchen. The home was clean and easy to access, it is about a ten minute walk into downtown and right next to a large drugstore with groceries. The upstairs is situated as a large open master suite which we loved but the second bedroom is right off the master bath so would probably work best for a family with young kids. Only suggestion we had would be some more seat cushions for the outside chairs. We would absolutely book again!

We were very pleased with our stay at the Rock House. It was very clean and came well equipped with basic household supplies that we would likely need during our stay. It provided a very comfortable and relaxing place for my family when we returned from adventuring around the Thousand Island region. The location was a short drive to every place we visited and located on a very quiet road. I would say that this house is best for families of parents and smaller children because of the bedroom/bathroom layout. Overall, we would definitely stay here again and recommend higly to others.

Property was just as described. It was very relaxing to be able to cook outside and relax on the deck. The only hiccup we had was trying to access the key but that was our issue. This house is close to town yet away from all the noise. We will definitely be looking at staying here again.

Nice home amenities - spacious kitchen and family room, two full bathrooms, washer/dryer; outdoor space and side sunroom were great spots to relax; Beds were very clean and comfortable. Great location. Easy drive to downtown Alexandria Bay, Thousand Island Park/Wellesley Island and Clayton.

Our stay at the Rock House was fine. The house was clean upon arrival. I had a technological issue with the check process, but Rich called me back fairly quick and had us in the house without further issues, (FYI, the problem was on my end, not theirs). While he had me on the phone he was very helpful in getting the heat turned on and made sure multiple times to tell me that if we had ANY issues or problems to let him know and he'd handle it. We had zero issues during our stay. The bathrooms were clean, plenty of hot water, with good pressure, lots of towels. The kitchen is stocked with cookware. The living room is comfortable, spacious for 2 adults as we were. A family of 4 would comfortably fit in this home. We didn't use the 2nd bedroom, other than stow away for bags and such. Location is very accessible to A-Bay, (5 minute drive). We enjoyed breakfast from Coffee Pot Kathy's on 2 different occasions. Overall a fine place to stay to Alexandria Bay. I would certainly consider returning for a stay in Alexandria Bay.

Beautiful home with terrific perks: the split level deck & jacuzzi tub were as fantastic as advertised, but that stained glass mudroom/indoor deck was a memorable surprise. Carol & her husband are very responsive & pleasant - her suggested activities for my stay were exactly what I was looking for. The location seems a little odd at first - it's right at the entrance to a resort conference center - but it's actually a very nice neighborhood with a 10 minute walk to downtown A Bay. All-around wonderful experience!

The house was very clean, loved the deck, however lighting options in the house we’re lacking, no table lamps for reading in both living room and bedrooms, no dining room table inside except a very small 2 person table in kitchen, too few cushions for outdoor furniture, 4 beautiful lounge chairs but cushions for only two. Kitchen was lacking a teapot, good pans, those available burnt food. Carol was wonderful to work with and I hope this review helps the experience for the next guest.

The house was very clean and well equipped with everything we need for our stay .Situated in quite neighborhood about 8-10 minutes walk to downtown Alexandria Beautiful porch to relax ,read or eat. We enjoyed our stay there.

We really enjoyed staying in this pleasant home in the village of Alexandria Bay. We liked its proximity to the river and village. The home was clean and comfortable, with a spacious kitchen and living room area. We also loved the porch and outdoor deck. The only thing missing was a first-floor AC unit. Otherwise, this home is excellent and we would consider staying again!

The Rock House is perfectly situated in the scenic town of Alexandria Bay. The house is in walking distance to stores, restaurants, a coffee shop, and the St. Lawrence river, but it's also close enough for an easy drive to the charming neighboring towns of Clayton, Cape Vincent, and Sackets Harbor. The house is clean and comfortable. It's small, but we traveled alone as a couple, so the house was perfect for us. We spent most of our time outside on the large back deck, which has everything you could want: a grill, several chairs, and lots of shade. Communication with Carol and Rich was easy and fast: when we had a request, they were able to help us immediately. We would stay at the Rock House again.

This home was clean, relaxing, and near many attractions. When not exploring the area, we enjoyed relaxing on the deck, which is very spacious and gets a lot of direct sunlight. Our dogs enjoyed the home as well. The owner was responsive and kind. Highly recommend a visit to Alexandria Bay!

Wir waren 4 Nächte im Rahmen unserer Nord-Ost-Kanada/USA Rundreise in dem Haus. Es war nach all den Hotels extrem wohltuend. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig (trotz der Nähe zur Bundesstraße). Es ist unheimlich liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Patio ist wirklich eine Wohlfühlinsel. Abends sehr nette Beleuchtung. Die Küche gut ausgestattet, ein großer Eßtisch im Haus oder Garten wäre noch eine Idee vielleicht (wir waren zu viert dort, unsere Söhne 14 und 17). Das zweite Schlafzimmer ist doch eher sehr klein und ist ein ‚gefangener‘ Raum hinter Bad und Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss. Man kann fussläufig in den Ort, wenn man möchte. Ein Nationalpark mit riesigem Swimming Pool nahezu fussläufig um die Ecke. Auch ein sehr gutes Fitnessstudio ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Supermärkte auch quasi vor dem Haus, fussläufig. Sehr zentrale Lahe zu den 1000 Islands und auch zu Clayton, wo doch noch einiges mehr wie Bootsverleih oder an Restaurants vorhanden ist. Das Haus würde ich jederzeit wieder mieten!

My family and I stayed while vacationing for a wedding. It was the perfect location, close to all of our friends and all the events. The house was exactly what we needed and the patio was a perfect outdoor space to make me feel still like we are camping but with all the comforts of home. When we vacation again in the area we are sure to stay again!

Everything we needed to stay for a long weekend. Very nice and very clean.
