Wonderfully relaxing ambience!

A great stay, staff and setting as well as dog friendly! For a basic motel, it checked all the boxes. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Quick friendly service... very clean and spacious room... location was perfect for the area... very quiet but i liked the motel had speakers very softly playing music til maybe 7 or 8pm

I love this little motel! Has the old motel feel, but very clean. The man working the front desk. was extremely nice and polite. He turned the heat up for us in our room before we got there. .I feel bad I don’t remember his name. The price is more than reasonable and very close to town I will definitely stay here again.

It had a very cozy feel and staff was very helpful.

The host was super nice when we checked in. There are speakers outside the rooms and he had 70’s light rock playing on low volume until about 7pm, and it was quite lovely. Great place to rest up for a fun day of exploring Alex Bay.

The Hotel was very nice and friendly. Need to work on having the TV working better. Couldn’t use it all weekend in the evening or morning to check the news and weather.

The stay was great owner very accommodating we rented the big cabin with awesome fire pit and comfortable Adirondack chairs and pet friendly we brought along our dog we will definitely be staying here again

Older Motel being kept up and well run. Right at Alex Bay. Beautiful area. All the sights and activities are nearby.

Tv did not work but bed was comfortable we did not know about fishing tournament man was cleaning fish outside our room next to our car.

We booked one room July 31,2023 at this Rock Ledge Motel. The reviews were high and the room rate seems reasonable. Only to find out after our experience that the room rate is way too high for what it’s worth. We called the motel for room availability and the man that answered the phone stated only double beds available. Right after we called him Expedia showed this same motel a room and a queen bed available for same day. I booked and paid the room but was taking over 10 minutes for the site to confirm thinking something with wifi connection so got back into Expedia site and booked the same room that was still available and got confirmation. I checked my email for motel confirmation only to find I got 2 paid bookings through Expedia. When we arrived at this motel, the man in the office greeted us but was rude and abrupt when I tried to explain that we were double booked. The man did not want to hear my explanation as I showed him there was double booking. He stated rudely he has nothing to do with the other booking. He then immediately slapped the receipt on the counter and sarcastically stated have a nice day. We were given a king bed which we appreciated. As we walked inside our reserved room, there was a musty smell in the room and both windows were already halfway open. The floor creaks. Plastic on top of the mattress that was uncomfortable. It makes a noise every time you moved. It was a noisy morning with garbage truck and another truck right outside our room.

Cottage was cozy, clean, & comfortable. Everything is a little dated but that does not bother me. Very easy to get to Alex Bay from the property. Couldn't ask for more for the price. Will stay here again if I come back to visit 1000 Islands.

the motel was clean but a plastic cover was on top the mattres and it was squiking all night. plus the tv ad no cable i was very upset

I would not consider it a 2 bedroom cabin. It is not 2 separate bedrooms but 2 double beds with a partial wall between. The very small bathroom had 2 doors, one opening to each bed. The shower was very small and the toilet was leaking. I felt the price for it was high. The room was clean and quiet. We were able to park right next to the cabin. Also the bed was comfortable so it had some good points as well.
