This place was perfect for myself, my husband, our son and his wife. The dock was great for our 24 foot boat. The guys fished all week. We enjoyed some spectacular morning sunrises from our windows upstairs. It was so easy to come and go by boat to explore the Lake of the Isles and the St. Lawrence River. We loved the view as we cooked and ate our meals either upstairs or on the deck below that was our hang out spot. The neighbors were friendly and helpful. I t was quiet and peaceful during our week there.. The host was wonderful. I would recommend this place.

Our previous fishing plans fell through and we were lucky to find this rental semi last minute. The owner has just refurbished this property inside and out. It was perfect for two of us. There is one bedroom and another sitting room that can be used as a second bedroom with supplied mattress. There was also a fold out couch in the living room which we didn’t use. Good dishes, cookware, utensils, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, blender were in the kitchen. An AWESOME gas grill outside was put to use for steak and chicken dinners…. Outdoor cooking utensils supplied. We needed a sizable dock and theirs was in excellent condition and more than large enough for a 21’ boat with 4 feet of depth. The outdoor deck had brand new chairs and lounge chairs on brand new decking with beautiful landscaping. Perfect for chilling at the end of the day. The views were beautiful from inside and out. The owner was prompt to answer any questions we had. And….. we had really good fishing.

Very nice waterfront property good for a couple getaway. Brought the boat and was able to launch at DeWolf Point State Park located a stones throw away. Great location, would highly recommend

Location is perfect, but slightly hard to navigate to. Space was very efficiently organized and clean. WiFi wasn’t great. You have to bring your own linens for bedroom. Need clear instructions for all the remotes and electronics.

This property was so nice! The rental is clean and well maintained and the furnishings and fixtures are lovely. We absolutely loved the view out of all of the windows, especially the picture window, and we really enjoyed exploring Wellesley Island and the 1000 Islands area in general. The owner was very pleasant and quick to respond if we had any issues. If you are considering this place, don't hesitate.

My husband and I have been coming to the Thousand Islands area for many years and have stayed at many different places but this was by far the best place we’ve ever stayed! Everything in this apartment, which is right on the water, was totally updated, so clean, comfortable and decorated beautifully by the owner Lynnore. She takes great pride in her property and it shows! She thinks of everything you may need or want. It was so peaceful having our coffee every morning sitting by the corner windows and looking out at the water and then sitting on our own deck/dock area that was just for our use in the afternoons. We will definitely be returning and wished we didn’t ever have to leave.

Our first time using VRBO. A seamless process. Unit has stunning view of the river. Property was lovely and as described on VRBO. Owner was very responsive to all questions. A very relaxing and comfortable vacation!

We spent Labor Day weekend here and it was just what we needed. The house is exactly as shown (if not better). Scenic waterfront, clean and comfortable! We are already talking about when we can go back! Owner was wonderful too, she communicated clearly, bit gave us the space to relax as well. Highly recommend!!

Great place on the water, cannot beat the views, use of the dock and deck space!

Owner babysat our stay making it very uncomfortable to stay at the property. She also charges a cleaning fee when booking the reservation and states that if you leave the cottage as you found it that you will receive a refund of your deposit. The place was left as clean as it was when we walked in with the rugs vacuumed and the tile swiffered however she REFUSED to refund the cleaning fee. She wants the place clean, but she doesn't clean the spider webs all over the house. Would not stay there again. It was also VERY HOT in there not an ideal vacation spot. There is only an in room air conditioner unit not central air. When we arrived it was about 94 degrees in the house and all night really hot and next day it continued to be 84 degrees the entire day. If you want to sweat all day and night and be babysat stay HERE!!!

This is a great location, right on the water! The apartment was very comfortable with just the two of us. A great place to get away and watch the happenings on the Lake.

This was a lovely little place with many updates to the decor. Close enough to Alex Bay and Clayton for meaningful visits into town. Each trip north across the bridge is $3.00 so bring money for tolls. Beautiful views of the river and some of the 1000 islands. Relaxing and quiet w friendly people. Just what we were looking for.

Very clean affordable apartment overlooking the lake! Easy to move in to and loved the convenience of the dock footsteps from the kitchen! Lynnore was an excellent hostess and was available for anything we needed. Neighbors were courteous to us. Launched the boat less than one mile down the road at Dewolf State Park and parked trailer there for the week all for less than $20. We caught rock bass largemouth and perch right from the dock and Northern pike and catfish as well in the lake. Trailered our boat to Clayton one day for River fishing very convenient from this location. Easy to find and had a delightful stay. Definitely would stay again! Thank you!!

This property has magnificent views and access to the water. The area is quiet. The place was very pretty and comfortable.

This cottage was perfect for my son and I. We rented a boat and were able to dock it at the property. By boat it is very close to Boldt Castle and Alex Bay. It is also very quiet since it is tucked inside a bay on the island.

Very clean and easy to get to. We kept the boat at one of the docks which made it very convenient to jump in and go. Will stay again for sure!!

The place was very clean and comfortable. It is small but perfect for a small family like us. We really enjoyed being right on the water. The view was wonderful! The location is great also, just a few miles from TI park, which was the prefect place to visit with extended family. The owner was very responsive and helpful throughout the rental process and during our stay. I would recommend this rental highly!

This was the nicest place that I've stayed on Wellesley Island. My sister and I got away ourselves for a long weekend for some R&R. We were very pleased when we arrived and saw the great location of our cottage right on the water. We were very close to all the attractions in the US as well as Canada. The owners were there during our stay and were very helpful in planning our activities. They even set up our private fishing excursion with the locals for us. Great place, great time, and great people. Met a lot of friendly locals whom we look forward to seeing on our next trip there in the spring. I highly recommend this place to everyone looking for a nice reasonable place to get some R&R. Also a large dock on the water to fish off of or to bring your own boat. ENJOY!!!

Our weekend at the cottage was the first weekend that the cottage was reopened after the extensive remodeling job so we were the first to experience all it has to offer. I will say that the pictures do not do it justice. In person it is much more magnificient and the views are breath taking. It is a wonderful feeling to wake up in the morning and just see water while you have your coffee. The way the accomodations are set up is very user friendly. Everything has been pre meditated to make sure that you have what you need when and where you need it. We found that we really didn't need to bring most of the stuff we brought as everything was already there and all brand new. The only thing we did need were our towels and sheets (which I prefer to have my own anyways). The host was very gracious and made sure we were happy at all times. We didn't have a bot but there is a separate dock you can use if you bring one. I would stay there again and most likely will book a vacation there again next summer.
