The house was beautiful with a view of the Alyeska Mountains. The kitchen was very well equipped and organized. It was clean and there were extra linens if we needed them. Audrey was a wonderful host and offered helpful suggestions for places to eat and things to see. It was kid friendly with plenty of sleeping options.

Audrey and Win Faulkner delivered a perfect vacation experience for us in Girdwood. The home was spacious and comfortable. Audrey stocked it with every convenience imaginable. She was also helpful with advice about outings.

Our party of six spanned tween to over 80 years old, and we all loved this house! It was a great launching point for several trips to Seward, though the local hikes were fabulous as well. And you can't beat a one-minute walk to the Girdwood Brewery and Food Trucks. We would love to stay again.

The house was exactly as advertised, the owner was super responsive. My family loved staying here, very close location to the ski lifts, lots of room and very clean. highly recommend!

This property was the perfect spot for our group of nine, two families with teenage/ young adult children. There was lots of room for gathering as well as sleeping and included all the comforts of home. We enjoyed walking to the little town of Alyeska for a coffee, hiking various trails in the area and riding the tram up the mountain to explore the top of the ski hill and have an August snowball fight. The location was also close enough to Anchorage, Whittier and Kenai/Soldotna for day trips to various other activities. Owners were responsive and very helpful with questions about the area and things to do.

Brought my Texas Family to see Alaska. We rented this great house from Win & Audrey. It has lots of beds, 2 living spaces, 3 baths...perfect for our large group. It is a great satellite location...45 mins from Anchorage...45 mins from Cooper Landing....1 hr 45 min from Seward. Grill. Fire Pit. Loved this place and we will be back!

Great stay! The house was plenty big for an extended family trip. Nice gathering spaces and plenty of room to spread out. Loved the toys for the kids and the books to read. Rooms were nice sized with lots of beds. A few tips- grocery shop in Anchorage before you arrive, local grocery is small. Pack slippers. Thanks for the great stay!

Awesome house. Roomy, well furnished and stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Pool and Foosball table and games and toys for youngsters and teens.

Property had a lovely, large kitchen which was helpful to have family centered meals and the tv room had multiple different seating arrangements for our group. Pool table and surrounding area provided family entertainment.

Great place! Very spacious, clean house: 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, plenty of space for kids to play. Well equipped kitchen, laundry room, fire place, etc. Audrey was very helpful, provided all required information, answered all questions, very easy to get in touch with. And if you ski this is a the best location. Located just 1 min drive from the slopes. You can even walk there. We had a great time and will definitely be back. Thanks Audrey!

I have nothing but good to say about our stay in this home. The location was good for the many activities our group of 13 had planned, the home is exceptionally well stocked and comfortable for a large family group such as ours, and the owners always answered questions and responded quickly to any requests. The location felt private even though there was a house next door and was very quiet. We would definitely choose this house if returning to this area of Alaska in the future!

Home was roomy, comfortable, clean, fully stocked and in a good location. Enjoyed time with our sons and their families. Several nice restaurants, good drive to Anchorage, Whittier and Seward. Wonderful place for a family vacation. Audrey and Win were great.

After a 24+ hour journey from Scotland, we arrived at the Five Star Executive Lodge and were immediately blown away. There were 7 adults and 1 child in our group and we stayed for 2 weeks, so it was great to have so much space. The grand open plan living area was fabulous and the perfect place to relax after a day on the slopes, whether sitting by the fire, playing pool, watching a film or having dinner. There was even a fold out table and chairs for dining which we weren't expecting. The house was very well stocked and maintained, and the owners were very thoughtful and helpful throughout our stay. The location was ideal too, being literally a few minutes drive or a five minute walk from the slopes. Highly recommended. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks Win and Audrey!

Our family has stayed in Girdwood many times. Usually we stay in the hotel or in a condo. This time I decided on staying in this house. It worked out great. The space is excellent for a family and friends. It is close enough to the ski area and to restaurants and grocery store that the kids can walk. They also walked to the shuttle a couple of times. For once we weren’t all tripping over each other in tight quarters. The large kitchen is great, as is having a clothes dryer since it was a rainy week at the ski area. My wife would have liked to have an outdoor hot tub. We do plan to stay here again.

Kitchen was well stocked. Fire pit was perfect. Open living area allowed us to have a yoga class with all 10 of us.

We really enjoyed staying in this beautiful home. Audrey was awesome to work with. We loved everything about this house. My teenage kids did not have a problem staying entertained playing pool indoors when it rained one afternoon. The location was ideal for us to travel to Whittier and explore the Kenai Peninsula including Seward. We would definitely stay here again.

The great room concept with the fireplace was what we first fell in love with. So much room to move around and feel like we all had our own space. It was nice at the end of a long day to kick back on the recliner couches. Owners were very responsive while we were there (we didn't need much, but a couple of texts to help us navigate!). Everything was very clean as well. We would recommend it to anyone and definitely stay again if given the chance. Thank you!

Beautiful great room with central fireplace. Modern well appointed kitchen that was easy to maneuver in. Recreational opportunities at every turn and separate sleeping rooms and baths upstairs away from activity if desired. A must arrangement for families harmony. Would book again in heartbeat

We just returned from a six-night stay in Girdwood. Absolutely beautiful home - loved the living room area and the pool table! We spent nearly every night playing pool. The house was very clean and quiet and we were very, very sad to leave. The property is close to Chair 5, which is an excellent restaurant with more than ample servings. Audrey was a pleasure to deal with (very helpful) and left us some wonderful smoked salmon. If we ever return to Girdwood we would most definitely stay here again!

Great place for a large family. Well-appointed. I can see how this rental would be great for a winter ski getaway.

Our group of 7 snowboarders stayed here in early March on our trip to Alyeska. From the minute we pulled into the driveway we knew that we had chosen wisely. The property is very close to the resort, so close that you could gauge conditions by looking out the window. When I entered the home I was blown away at how nice it was. Everything was very clean and there was plenty of space for 7 men and snowboarding gear. While unpacking our supplies we found that the property owners had left us a sampling of smoked salmon that they had caught and smoked, along with some cream cheese spread and crackers. Needless to say we were in heaven from the get-go. It was such a nice personalized touch, and our entire group couldn't stop talking about it. All of the rooms were great, and the house had everything one would need for a weeks stay. The property is very close to the local mercantile, which carried a wide variety of groceries and adult beverages, but I do recommend purchasing your groceries in Anchorage prior to hitting the road. The only tricky business with this property is the trash situation. Make sure to do your research up front and figure out which drop-off locations are open when you plan on leaving, as it is your responsibility to dispose of the trash. All in all this place is killer. Great location, great price, and guaranteed great time. The property owners Winthrop and Audrey are absolute legends, and I will most certainly rent from them again if I find myself heading to Girdwood.

Great house with lot's of space and beds. Very comfortable environment. Great access to hiking and to Whittier. But don't have anyone outside of your contracted number of people over at the house if you have friends or family in town. A phone call will go from an intrusive neighbor to the homeowner to you as the renter within fifteen minutes. You'll end up feeling like a high school student whose been caught having a party when their parents are out of town.

Our large family found plenty of room to relax, play, and cook in this well-located home. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well-equipped (including a brand new refrigerator installed just before we arrived!), and Alaskan winter sports were close at hand! The owners were helpful and accessible when needed. A beautiful setting for our Alaskan family Christmas reunion.
