We enjoyed the space and the acreage around the property. Close to all attractions.

Very spacious home located on a private lot. Owner, Martin, was awesome with communicating with any questions that we had. Older furniture in bedroom missing handles and the drawers could easily fall out. Lots of closet space in the spacious bedrooms. Beds comfortable. Dining room very nice but never used it. Kitchen had great space for eating and playing games and cards at the table. Only 1 bathroom upstairs for 3 bedrooms. 3rd bathroom in basement area. Basement smelled musty, never used it. Great recommendation for dinner at Alessandro's in Ashtabula. Family owned, wait was well worth it. Food selections were awesome. Nicely priced.

This place was amazing. Wonderful little get away spot on a quiet road! Inside is so spacious with TONS of room and space for large groups of people to mingle and have fun! Was perfect for my sisters bachelorette party! Floors were super clean, there were a few stain spots but walking around in white socks for hours and the bottoms were still white, was a huge indicator that this property is well kept up and cleaned properly! The only downside was that the house does have well water, so if you’re not used to that it can be different for you. The grounds are beautiful and we will definitely be looking into staying here again in the future!

Enjoyed our stay at the Swiss Chalet. The fire pit was a huge success.

Went for a weekend, stayed August 26, and 27th. Had a great time. The chalet is big with all the amenities of home. Want to go again but probably a cooler time of the year. Couldn't enjoy fires because it was so hot. Would definitely recommend.

If you have problems with stairs there is no way to get in without going up stairs. And the rocks at the end of the driveway are a little close together. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

There was plenty of room (10 of us). Very scenic area. We enjoyed being so close to Geneva-on-the Lake, but really we spent most of the weekend just enjoying the the views on the property. Planning to return sometime soon.

We spent Thanksgiving week while traveling in Ohio. The house & grounds are beautiful. We wished it wasn't rainy as we wanted to fish in the pond & use the outdoor fire pit, but we were happy to have indoor fireplaces. They even had Christmas decorations & tree put up for us! Kids enjoyed playing in sunroom. Plenty of room for all!

Very nice home. Lots of space with 3 living rooms. Large bedrooms. Sets back off the road in a nice setting. Very peaceful.

Spent few days with family had great time place has plenty of space and great pond for fishing.

The house and property were nice and met our needs the first night. The listing noted that there was a winery in a barn on the property. The online listing failed to mention that a wine tasting room existed in the house’ s attached garage and that customers at the winery would have access to the garage and the lower level bathroom. The house listed 3 full bathrooms. With COVID-19 we did not feel comfortable with using the lower level bathroom the last day. On Saturday, there was also an incident where a winery customer entered the upstairs where we occupied. Martin was onsite and very apologetic. I highly recommend disclosing the information regarding the tasting room and lower level bathroom when the winery is open. Overall our stay was nice.

Large beautiful home. Few disappointments including gas grill wouldn’t work, charcoal grill couldn’t be used, no hot tub as advertised and poor water pressure in upstairs shower.With that being said we would probably stay here again in the future.

We needed a new place to stay for our annual trip and we found this place. It was located great for everything we wanted to go to and see. It was clean and had everything we needed.

We stayed and got married this weekend in the barn at the chalet. Everything was absolutely perfect! Martin was wonderful and very generous to help make our day lovely. With the rain he had put up a new gazebo and had the barn cleaned and ready for us. We couldn’t be more thankful. The chalet was spacious, clean and cozy. The attendant at the chalet Adrien was the sweetest, and the wine slushies were amazing! We are already talking about our return!

Great location to visit the covered bridges, vineyards and Lake Erie for charter fishing! Lots of space for the 10 of us.

It was the perfect place for our girls’ weekend getaway. The setting was idyllic, and the property was clean. We hope to be back again.

Started off a little rocky but the property manager took care of things right away. The house outstanding. Plenty of room and space lots of outside property. The fishing pound was loaded with fish. If you are looking for a restful stay then I would recommend this place. I will be back next summer.

Loved our stay did have family with disability's but worked out great bathroom on every floor and my family really appreciated that got to have all family members there and will book here again. The outside was beautiful and plenty for anyone to do fishing, badminton, long walks go and enjoy.

We absolutely loved our time in this house. It was quiet, peaceful, and so comfortable. There was plenty of room for our group of eleven. The house manager was great with communication and answering questions. We would highly recommend this house and hope to come back.

Too bad it only has 4 bedrooms because the rest of the house is huge! it could accommodate a group of 20 easily. The place was spotless, good information, lots of provisions in case we forgot something, easy access to the wineries. I love these owners! Do you have any other locations?

House is very spacious, with many "hang out" areas, and all the amenities you could ask for. Wonderful time!

The Susec Chalet is amazing. It is decorated beautifully and very clean. Lots of space for everyone, several tvs with cable and roku so you can access your Netflix, amazon and hulu. Full kitchen, a sunroom that is perfect for reading and relaxing with a view of the pond and woods. Very close to the wineries and restaurants. Can't wait to go back.

Pleasant location and atmosphere!

It is difficult to find a property to accommodate 4 couples, and the Chalet met those needs. The beds were comfortable and the Kitchen was outfitted nicely. The couches, although all different, were clean and comfortable. Overall, the house was clean and met our approval (we tend to be on the picky side). The property needs a bit of TLC (landscaping, painting, weeding, updating, etc.), but it was not a deterrent. Our stay was over a long weekend at the end of September, thus the winery was not an impact to our stay (we had the whole house). Two items which should be known to prospective renters: 1. The large bedroom upstairs does not provide privacy since two other bedrooms enter through this bedroom (uncharacteristic). 2. The water is extremely soft, which if you are not accustomed, may catch you off guard. It appears to be very difficult to rinse the soap off. Also, the water pressure is weak and can be difficult to maintain a constant temperature, particularly if others are showering or using the dish washer. Again, these items were not "deal breakers" but thought at this price point, it would not have been an issue. Note: the 4 large garbage cans were nearly full when we arrived, we had to stuff our garbage to fit each time. The owner, Martin, was very responsive to our questions and resolved any issues within his control, thank you!

Chalet was absolutely perfect for our Family! There was plenty of room for everyone! With Room to Spare! Although it was only a quick drive to Geneva On the Lake, We never even had to leave the Chalet as we had everything we needed and wanted to do there. Plenty of outdoor space to fish, have a campfire, play outdoor games, & relax! Kitchen was stocked and we were able to make all our meals for the entire weekend! Truly dont think we could have found a more perfect place for our Family Weekend Getaway!

There was plenty of room for our entire family to be able to relax and enjoy spending time with each other. Great location being close to the lake but far enough away we didn't have to deal with any of the traffic. Looking forward to booking again!

The house was beautiful and there was plenty of room for everyone (7 adults and 2 kids). We especially enjoyed the sunroom and the pond. The location was great - close to the highway, but quiet, and a short drive from Geneva State Park and Lake Erie. The two bedrooms with pull-out couches were quite large. We were surprised to find that one of the other upstairs bedrooms was a walk-through (you need to walk through it to get to the other upstairs bedrooms, so not really private). We did have some trouble using GPS to find the property, so be aware that Google or Apple maps directions may not be accurate. We had a very nice stay and I would recommend this house to others.
