To start your day, you do have to walk (3 minutes) to the lift or gondola. The pool and hot tub were a fun way to end the ski day. The only thing is, if you are staying a full week, I'd bring food to make, as the village has slim offerings.

We probably had a 4 star experience but am still giving 5 stars because some of the things were not the condo owners fault. Very clean and spacious with awesome views. The balcony was wonderful but did have caution tape on some of it and exposed metal so we had to keep our kids off that side. Unfortunately there was a lot of construction each day across the creek so most times sitting outside meant lots of noise pollution. We used the pool and hot tub everyday and loved it. Again - great, but the pool was usually FULL of flies so we’d have to use the skimmer in the pool each time. The way I would describe the amenities of the place the condo is located in is working and they do the job, but very old and rough around the edges. Location is awesome - so close to A Basin and Dillon/Frisco/Silverthorne/Breck. Master bedroom and suite were great. Used the jetted tub a lot. Only complaint is the bed is on the very firm side.

We visited the 3rd week of August (low season), and loved the lack of crowds and beautiful weather. The condo is large, nicely furnished, clean, and has large windows and French doors that open to a nice deck. We enjoyed the outdoors and the sounds of the river every morning and evening. Garage parking was great, and the pool and outdoor area were also nice. We would definitely stay at the Timbers again.

Wonderful place; perfect location.

This vacation rental is in a great location, tucked in the trees, and quiet. Views from this rental are amazing and relaxing. We did have a few major issues that were in the end resolved, but made for a 4 star experience and not a 5 star. All in all I would stay here again and recommend this property.

Beds comfy, nice place, and perfect family getaway

We really enjoyed this rental, perfect slope side location, tastefully appointed. The fireplace did not work. We called about it and building staff was very responsive. We decided not to interrupt our stay w/ a service call, but we still had a nice time.

Had everything in kitchen! Super comfy beds! Master bath tub is like a hot tub! Quiet & clean!! Going to stay there again!

The location is nearly perfect for skiing, and the condo is a good fit for my family. We enjoy the relative seclusion of the Timbers condo, though to be fair, it is a bit of a hike to get to River Run village for dinner/shopping. The condo had everything we needed for our stay, and was clean and bright. The enormous dining table was a bit outdated, and the chairs are way too big, heavy and cumbersome, but that fits the "theme" of this condo, I suppose. Just a bit awkward.We enjoyed the hot tub and steam room every day, and they weren't too crowded during our stay.The main downside of our stay was that the River Run Chair Lift was closed nearly the entire time we were there (Mon - Thurs), which meant we had to hike across the bridge to get to the Gondola from our condo every morning and afternoon. This made this condo a "ski-in," but not a "ski-out" condo, and took away one of the main advantages of staying in this unit (at a significant price premium over The Springs, where we used to stay). If this is going to be a normal Keystone thing, we'll probably switch to a less-expensive condo that is closer to the Gondola (like The Springs) next year.

There is a second full bathroom in the hallway. The kitchen, dining room and living room are one open space. The master bedroom has a large bathroom. Clean and maintained, though the fridge water dispenser needed a new filter and beeped when you used it. Yes the manager did provide great service. Definitely would stay here again. There was not an easy to walk to the Village, but you have a ski in ski out place, a communal hot tub and nice heated pool. Heating between rooms was inconsistent.

Very short path/ski trail to the summit express lift/gondola. Ski in Access to the back entrance from a little trail off Ina's Way. Outdoor pool is comfortable temp for swimming even at night. Beautiful building and grounds with awesome views of the village across the river. Everything in this place was top notch. A bit of a walk (maybe half mile) into the village but doable even with little ones.

This is one of the best locations in Keystone for skiing. It's a very short walk from the condo to the ski run down to the base lift or gondola to start the day. And a very easy return for lunch or at the end of the day. Condo had everything we needed. Plenty of space. One small issue was handled promptly. Pool and hot tub were great.

Ski-in ski-out is difficult due to rolling path, however, it is a very short path to the run for gondola or lift. And other than master suite, the condo stays a little too warm. Over all, it’s a pretty great place.

This property was amazing! The location within the building made our stay very comfortable and relaxing. Situated on the corner made summer breezes flow throughout the space. Upon check-in, one issue was a challenge with bedroom lighting, Wi-Fi internet and tv. Contacted the property management on the second day. They were able to resolve all. It was just difficult for the first night.

You can also walk to the River Run village with shops and restaurants in about 5 minutes.
