The house was great. Each room was quiet and clean. The kitchen was well stocked (although we never found a cutting board) and worked well. The house has been painted grey (as opposed to the picture) and there were a bunch of bees in the backyard. Otherwise it was great. Beware the stairs if you have anyone elderly. The location is amazing. Hosts are great. Recommend.

Great location. Plenty of space

This property is gorgeous, cute, convenient, but horrid for senior citizens and those that have limited vision. The staircase is very steep and the stairs rather narrow. There are no hand rails in the bathroom -- particularly the shower room which has a shiny "marble" floor that is slick as ice when wet. I think these hazards should be listed in the property description.

We had a wonderful stay! The house had everything we needed (especially the fantastic kitchen and comfortable living area), and the location was perfect. We loved walking downtown, to the track, etc. We loved every moment of our vacation - thank you!

My daughter got married at Saratoga National and I wanted a house close to town so my girlfriends and I could walk to restaurants and shops. The house is ideal for that. It was immaculate and was a perfect size. The staircase upstairs is really windy but we got used to it. We didn’t go downstairs as there were no handrails. Parking

Overall, such a pleasant stay! The property was just what we needed for a Bachelorette party from an accommodation and location standpoint. Would absolutely stay here again.

Our daughter got married at the Canfield Casino this past weekend and we were so happy to stay close to the downtown area. The home is a well-kept, charming, spacious retreat. We especially enjoyed having a backyard patio since the weather was so beautiful. The kitchen and dining area accommodated our family perfectly and the house overall is so well-equipped to make the perfect stay. The owner was very helpful and responsive. We will certainly be back!

Great location a quarter mile or so to numerous restaurants, bars, coffee shops, interesting shops and a nice park. Quiet neighborhood. Decent beds. Clean house. Spacious rooms. Good communication with host. Beautiful high ceilings on first floor, so a lot of stairs to second floor. We had a group of seven people, all in 60s and 70s.

The location of the house was perfect for walking to restaurants and shops. The house had everything we needed - the backyard was a great place to hang out! The stairs to the downstairs bedrooms and bathroom are a little difficult to manage, but luckily we didn't have any people with mobility issues. Thanks so much, Nick and Lynn, for a wonderful stay!

As soon as we pulled up to the property, we new we had found a great place to stay. Beautiful home, great curb appeal and the most convenient place I've stayed in Saratoga yet! My friends and I would highly recommend this to everyone. We've already started to talk about another trip here!

This was our 3rd time staying at the house, we love it! The house is perfect for our family and it's a short walk to so many excellent restaurants. The house is clean and very comfortable, can't wait to go back next year!

The location is great -wonderful to walk to center of town, parks etc. Home is comfortable for large family of adult children. Kitchen very well stocked and nice to have extra kitchenette on lower level. As others mentioned, stairs are a little steep & could be challenging to younger or older guests. Overall fantastic & Nick could not be nicer.

First of all Nick was super helpful as I had an initial glitch with VRBO and booked two of his houses for the same weekend. He quickly helped me sort out my reservation for the weekend. The house is in great walking distance from Broadway. The communal space was perfect for our large group and the bed rooms were all very clean and comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again.

We chose Saratoga for our Thanksgiving family gathering this year. The house was perfectly located within walking distance from town. The living area and large kitchen provided ample room for us to cook our meals and have room to spread out. As some of the reviews indicated, stairs were an issue, especially with two small children. From the listing, I was under the impression that 2 bedrooms were on the main floor, but then realized after reading some reviews that this was not the case. A diagram of the layout on the listing would be helpful. We ending up managing OK, but brought safety gates with us. Some furniture, rugs and window treatments were worn but hopefully these upgrades will be made in the near future.

The location is perfect to down town walk. Parked our four cars I front of the house when we arrived and did not need to move them till we departed. The owner’s were very responsive and worked with us to customize our arrival and departure to meet our needs!! The place had plenty of space the 6 of us to sleep, hang out and get ready to venture out!

Everything worked perfectly for our out-of-town family arriving in Saratoga for our son's wedding. One suggestion: the layout is not clear from the description or photos. I'm not sure why I thought there was a bedroom on the ground floor, which is retrospect is obviously not true... One of my guests has a bad knee- she was unable to access any of the bedrooms due to the steep stairs, and I had to make other arrangements for her accommodation. Perhaps she could have come in the back door downstairs, but it, too, proved a little tricky. She is not disabled, just a little unsteady and occasionally uses a cane. Overall though, the house is terrific, and you did a great job setting it up for us. Thank you! -Catharine

This is a great house from the 1800's that has been modernized comfortably. I stayed there with my family, including my siblings and their families. While I will say it was interesting trying to situate everyone, we all found a place to sleep and had a wonderful time. There are no bedrooms on the main level, but there is a pull-out couch that sleeps two and a futon that sleeps one. My brother has trouble with stairs, so he and his wife were stuck with the couch, but they said it suited them fine. The staircase to the 2nd floor is beautiful but very steep. The bedrooms were very clean and there were clean sheets and towels for our use. TVs and wi-fi extenders throughout the house made keeping us connected to the outside world easy. The basement suite was great, with its own kitchen, fridge and coffee maker along with a washer and dryer and a huge closet where additional linens and towels are kept. The ceiling is fine for regular sized people., but my 6'4" nephews found it a bit low and had to duck in places. The house has a nice fenced in backyard with a grill. It's situated a short walk from the heart of town which made going in for meals or shopping super easy. Just a quick note that the house was recently painted, so if you're looking for it, look for blue-grey, not yellow as in the pic. Keyless entry and a nice porch with chairs were also nice touches. Nick and Lynn the owners are really nice and communicative and genuinely care that you enjoy your stay in their home. I would stay here again and would recommend it. We traveled with 14 in our party.

The house has good soundproofing from one floor to the other which was great as we had small children and infants staying with us. Two of the bedrooms were in the finished basement (I had thought they were on the first floor) but they worked out fine. The owners were lovely to deal with.

Check in and out process was great! Communication with host was fabulous. Location was very convenient to downtown, 2 block walk to Broadway. I was hosting a graduation get together and due to covid, needed the outdoor patio. The day of our arrival we were told that we could not access the back patio from the kitchen. The slider/deck was under construction. To access patio you had to go out front door and around back or thru the basement. That was a surprise to us! Very hard for some of our older guests. I think the property is still under renovation and not yet fully functional. There is no bedroom on main floor- 3 bedrooms are upstairs access is a very steep staircase- my mother - age 84- could not go up the staircase. Just be aware! In basement there are 2 bedrooms, but no railing. My mom had difficulty getting down those stairs as well. Good house for the right people, but certainly not older guests or ones with mobility issues. I’m so happy I did not bring the 3 year old twins! Potholders in the kitchen would be nice:) Overall the hosts were very responsive, the location was good, and the house clean! I think it would be the perfect house for some groups, but didn’t work for mine. My fault! I should have read all the reviews and I would have realized the staircase would be an issue. That’s why these reviews are so very important to read!

Great weekend trip with friends for golf - we enjoyed it!

I would rent this house again. The only caveat is the stairs are very steep for kids or older adults (us!) but manageable. Great kitchen and upstairs bath. The downstairs bedrooms are stuffy and we couldn't get the shower to work. We had an issue with the kitchen sliding glass door and even if not perfectly fixed, the property manager was very responsive to at least try to fix it which was much appreciated.

Came here for a bachelorette! Everything was perfect. It was a great location and close to the main streets with bars and restaurants. The owners were very responsive and answered all of our questions. We had a great last day grilling out in the backyard as well! Highly recommend!
