This is a beautiful house within walking distance of downtown Anchorage. The hosts are amazing - generous, thoughtful and kind. The kitchen was well stocked - they've thought of everything! This was a perfect place for a home base in Anchorage.

We were able to walk everywhere for groceries, restaurants, museums. Very convenient. Friendly host. We’ll equipped kitchen. We cooked salmon and cod from the local market. Patios we’re great for outside dining. Very nice neighborhood. We all slept very well and we’re refreshed from our long flights.

We arrived to some freshly baked muffins and cookies, which was very thoughtful. The home is well stocked with many kitchen necessities, like butter, eggs, bread and most types of spices. The owners obviously take pride in the property and enjoy making it creative and cozy. We really enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay in Cozy Cottage! So many personalized touches in the home-it was like visiting family. We even got a call from our host Lee letting us know where we could see a moose! Our only wish was that we had more time to enjoy and explore Anchorage. Wonderful hosts made this a great stay!

The cottage is cute as button and every possible need anticipated. The consideration for guests is amazing and very much appreciated.

This house exceeded our expectations in every way. Exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, very well stocked, owners were very responsive to all needs and offered ideas for restaurants & outings. They even provided us with bread, milk, eggs, butter, water, cheese, and the most amazing homemade nut bread! We hope to stay again in rhe future. Thank you!!

What a wonderful property! The outside is so welcoming with a lovely garden and twinkle lights on the fence. Inside you will find everything you might need. They even supplied bottled water, soda, bread, coffee...Beds were comfy. It was a quick uber drive from the airport and we walked to town for shopping and a trolly tour. So glad we decided to stay here instead of a hotel.

We had a wonderful time staying in your rental. Everything was so clean and well organized. All the little extras made our stay so much more comfortable. The location was very quiet and the outdoor patio was great for reading and enjoying the sun!

We had a really nice stay here. The owners went out of their way to set everything up for us (from cookies on arrival to baby bell cheeses). The kitchen was well stocked. There was a freezer for freezing ice for our cooler. Useful items in the refrigerator for us to use. Great location with plenty of things to see and do within walking distance of this house.

Cedar Alley was amazing for our 3 night stay in Anchorage. The location is within walking distance of downtown and there is a market a few blocks down the street. The hosts were available 24/7 and were ready for us early on our check in day. They walked us through and had so many special touches to make our stay easy and comfortable! The kitchen was stocked with essentials to get us through our stay and we so appreciated that and the gift card to the market. There are toiletry supplies and a washer and dryer which really helped ahead of our trip to Katmai NP and the wilderness. The style of Cedar Alley is so cool. So many beautiful decorations and little touches. My teens really enjoyed the heck out of the candy dishes! Also, thank you for the room darkening curtains! 😊 The yard is filled with gorgeous wildflowers and decorations as well. It’s like a little garden oasis to unwind and relax after exploring the city. We didn’t use the patio and grill but it would be great and it’s nice that it is available. It’s a pretty neighborhood that was quiet. If I’m in Anchorage again, I will definitely book Cedar Alley for my stay! Wonderful. Thank you!!!

The house was fabulous! Best VRBO we’ve stayed in! The house was well stocked with all kinds of extras. The hosts definitely went above and beyond! The location of the VRBO was also wonderful!

We spent 3 days in Anchorage and Cedar Alley was the perfect location. We walked to downtown restaurants and found it easy to leave town to go hiking and visit the area. Pamela and Lee are very generous hosts. They worked with us to stock the kitchen before our arrival. The house itself was great for the two of us.

Our first time in Alaska and the owners were very helpful and kind. They gave us a gift card to a local bakery. They went above and beyond. Thanks again for everything!!!

Their place was stocked with anything and everything you could ever need. There were even items in the fridge, plenty of linens and towels, liquor, snacks, 2 comfy beds and it was decorated so nicely.

Very nice property managers, close enough to downtown to walk, but quite neighborhood that didn't keep you up at night. Very nice home for a short stay. Had everything you would need plus all the extras you never think about. If we come back again I would definitely stay here again.

Sweet cabin for two in the midst of the city. Great location for day trips. Pam and Lee offered extensive amenities, you wanted for nothing…including Bloody Mary Mix 🍹. Really enjoyed our stay.

They went above and beyond and we would highly recommend!

We loved this place. The owners have thought of everything, from groceries ready on our arrival to lovely crafts and art throughout the house, with lots of gadgets like Alexa and fancy lighting. When the owners, Lee and Pam, stopped by to say hello, we teased them that the only thing missing was placemats, and of course Pam showed us where the placemats were kept. The house is also in a great location, walking distance to downtown Anchorage, to a great supermarket with fresh fish just a couple of blocks away, and to walking trails along Chester Creek and Winchester lagoon to the Tony Knowles trail. We only wished we could have stayed longer.
