We have just returned from a great weekend getaway at this lovely country home. The size and amenities in the kitchen and great room added to the experience. Each bedroom was comfortable although some felt the temperature to fluctuate, overall, we were comfortable. The lower level bedrooms are below grade, so not at bright and airy but still comfortable. The property is beautiful and some of our friends took the hike down hill to the hidden waterfall. The home is stocked with plenty of extras which made for less trips to the grocery store. The surrounding area is very quaint with nice shops on main street and a grocery store and CVS close by. We wish the weather had cooperated so we could have used the yard, deck, and fire pit more often. Appreciate the hospitality and would recommend this property to others as Tian answered our messages/txt when we had a question.

this house was very big and clean and the hiking trail and waterfalls were beautiful! My children, Shepherd, and I had a wonderful relaxing time. The town of Margaretville is very quaint and nice walking the street and visiting the shops. Thank you!

Excellent place for family and friends to stay for a special occasion when guests are traveling from far. House and property are both large and well kept. Great experience.

This house was spacious and extremely clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The only thing that really bothered us was the furniture. It was all extremely low to the ground and the most uncomfortable I've ever experienced. Couches slid around on floor, cushions were hard, and the beds were not comfortable either. After a long day of skiing when you just want to relax, it was hard in this house. In addition, the master bath shower drizzled water and there was absolutely no pressure. There has to be something wrong with the shower head. We used the other upstairs shower instead. We only stayed for 2 nights, but I couldn't wait to get home to my own bed, couches, and shower.

Property was just as advertised. Home layout was perfect for a group of us friends to relax, cook, hangout and even play the piano! Host was very responsive and location was superb - lots of hikes in the area and other things to do! Would definitely recommend!

We had a great experience over MLK weekend. The house is well equipped, warm and tastefully furnished. Our kids loved playing the piano and it was nice being 15min drive from Belleayre. Overall, it was great! One note for light sleepers, the radiators make a little noise at night so, if you’re sensitive, take earplugs. I had no issue, but my wife did.

Like the Catskills, the property is gorgeous and a bit dated. Our group of four found it comfortable. The rooms we used were pleasant enough for our needs while the two rooms on the lowest level would have been unacceptable.

Tian's home is spacious, comfortable and even more beautiful than the photos in a very tranquil setting. The location is great because you are in a beautiful part of the Catskills but only 5 minutes away from the town of Margaretville which has a grocery store, CVS, and a few restaurants. Nearby the Bellayre Beach offers a lake for swimming and hiking trails. We also enjoyed blueberry picking at Blue Sky Farms (about 20 minutes away).

Lovely House that was very clean and as advertised in the pictures. Great kitchen, great screened-in porch, comfortable beds, spacious house and a beautiful waterfall a short walk away. Close to Margaretville and Arkville on the western side of the Catskills (Woodstock, Tannersville, and Hunter are all 35 to 45 mins away). Several good restaurants nearby, easy access to Slide Mt, Big Indian, and hiking on the south side of Hunter mountain. Close to Plattekill and Belleayre ski areas. It provided a great base for a relaxing week with the family.

Very cozy and warm. Open concept. Very quiet location, yet convenient to restaurants and groceries. Great hiking with lots of water and beautiful rocks.

What an perfect getaway with the family!! First night was my birthday and dinner was made in very large kitchen with such great space and ate at the very large dining room table. Woke up the next morning to sounds of flowing waterfall. If you are looking for ability to entertain as well as have peace and quiet this is the place to be. We also brought our dogs who absolutely loved the outdoor space and resting on the kitchen tile! Master bedroom was amazing and additional 4 bedrooms each had additional coaches for extra space. Tian was super responsive and such a pleasure. Would stay here again without question!!

I loved every minute! The house is beautiful, clean and cozy. The waterfall and all the surroundings were a delight! Strongly recommend if you are looking for peace and quiet nature experience.

Just like the pictures on Homeaway. Very comfortable. Owner was easy to deal with. some additional tableware (knives and forks) would have been helpful.
