Everything about the property is first class. A spacious well appointed home, light and airy very welcoming. Good living accommodation, 6 excellent bedrooms very comfortable. The views from the house are spectacular, it was the ideal location fir my family to celebrate my 80th birthday. Anne is an excellent host.

Once again our stay at Cliff House was truly exceptional, a five star experience…it’s beautiful. The new BBQ area with a fire pit was an added bonus. The view has to be one of the best views in Cornwall. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay special, we didn’t want to leave…we will be back!

We stayed at this property to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday. Fabulous from the moment we walked in, I felt like crying as Cliff House was everything and more. The situation is amazing with beautiful views from every aspect. All the bedrooms were beautifully furnished and it was lovely for all to have their own en-suite. The swimming pool was enjoyed by the family and the hot tub was great. The summer house was the perfect place for pre dinner drinks. Lovely beach just at the bottom of the garden. We were blessed with amazing weather and spent most of the time sat outside enjoying the views. The hosts were very helpful. I would highly recommend.

This property is out of this world, beautiful dressed, location just perfect. Have just returned for celebrating my 50th with friends & family. We all didn’t want to come home. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of booking just get and book it..

Cliff House was the absolute perfect property for our family reunion. The house is immaculate and in exceptional condition. The views are stunning and the location is perfect for visiting Newquay and surrounding areas. Anne was an amazing host and responds to any questions immediately. We had 8 adults and 4 young children and it could not have been more perfect for us. Amazing light and space for gathering and a huge kitchen.

This property is exceptional. Beautifully appointed, hotel grade cleanliness. I really can’t rate it highly enough. The hosts are 1st class and clearly care deeply about your holiday experience. And the views! We would sit there for hours soaking them in. This is the best house I have ever stayed in, and you can’t help but feel like a bit of a movie star staying there. 1st class. It took over 2 years to get the holiday home of a lifetime. COVID permitting we finally carried it off. Anne was the most helpful and courteous person I've ever dealt with. Cliff house was superb, the facilities suited us perfectly and the views and walks are terrific. We loved the place.

The property is set with wonderful views overlooking and giving access to Crantock Beach where our grandchildren enjoyed surfing and paddle boarding as well as the indoor pool. The house is of a size that 11 of us could almost get lost with ample lounge seating and a dining table to seat 12 in comfort. Certainly worth a stay. Even has a charging point for electic car.

Wow…The Cliff House is amazing! We have just spent a long weekend at this wonderful house celebrating a birthday & everything was first class right from booking to checking out. The service we received from the owner Anne was second to none. This beautiful house is truly five star along with the beautiful views & private beach. If anyone is thinking of booking this house…don’t hesitate it really is outstanding. Thank you for a wonderful weekend we will be back next year!

Spent 5 wonderful nights at this amazing property with some good friends .. we visited some lovely coastal villages and other attractions such as Tintagel and Boscastle during the day and enjoyed the house late afternoon and evening … good nights sleep in luxury bedding was a dream.. would definitely go back .. and Anne the host gave us great information on places to eat 👍

From the moment we arrived at the gate & on opening the front door was a wow moment! This property was everything we had hoped & wished for. Views are amazing, as are the sunsets. Plenty of indoor & outdoor space for our three generations to spread out or gather! The whole house was spotlessly clean & fresh. Our teenage Granddaughter’s were in their element in the apartment! The pool was a definite hit, especially to cool down, we were very lucky to have the hot weather. The beach was perfect & on Anne’s recommendation we hired an assortment of paddle boards & kayaks from Just surf, who delivered & collected, a great service. We had all we needed & once settled didn’t really need to leave the house. Anne & Bruce are excellent 5* hosts, answering are questions from booking, sharing information & on hand if needed. This was a perfect location for celebrating our special occasion with family & friends. We had an amazing holiday & created happy memories & can’t wait to return. Thank you.

Some of the equipment, appliances and furniture was slightly tired. For the price we paid we expected a little better.

Property was perfect for a family outing - plenty of room - great views wonderful town - we were also luck y with perfect weather for the entire visit.

We had a fantastic family holiday in Cliff house . 6 adults and children from 9 months to 4 years .The inside pool and hot tub were well used as was the private path to the beach . The views are incredible and Anne and Bruce are excellent and very approachable hosts . Our only problem was that we really didn’t want to leave . We will be back !!!

The property is amazing but the thing that hits you is the views. Amazing, from pretty much every room. Beautiful terrace and garden overlooking the estuary with steps down the steep garden to reach the beach, which is almost like your own little private beach next to the estuary on Crantock Beach as it’s the opposite side to the National Trust car park, and people would have to wade through the river at low tide to get to your patch. It was brilliant for having a go at paddle boarding (you can hire them to be delivered to the house, along with wetsuits) , and for the kids playing in the water. The kids also loved the swimming pool and although small, If you wanted to swim properly there is a jet that you can swim against so you don’t have to keep turning around doing lengths. We had the chef Adam Banks come to the house and cook for us one night, which was amazing (and the food was sourced as locally or ethically as possible which was great). If you wanted to, you can go into Newquay nearby but we didn’t feel the need to go very far! Loved our stay, thanks Anne and Bruce for being great hosts. Future holiday rentals will have a lot to live up to!

On looking for a house that would cater for 9 adults 5 children and our lovely dogs we stumbled across this amazing Home , Anne the owner couldn’t have been more helpful in making us feel welcome , with covid stopping us from being able to see our son and his family in the US we were looking for somewhere our 3 sons and their families could relax and enjoy being together, it didn’t disappoint , the children absolutely loved the pool and the adults the hottub, the views are stunning , location incredible , Cornwall is such a lovely place so much to see , the weather wasn’t warm enough for us to sit out at night , we did say it would have been nice to have a fire pit to sit around when the children had gone to bed but we had the most amazing time and made many happy memories , we will definitely visit again and Thankyou Anne for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home. Cliff house has the most picturesque views of the beach and just takes you breathe away the minute you walk inside. We had perfect weather to use the BBQ , swimming pool and hot tub . We can’t recommend this house enough for a celebration or special occasion , we enjoyed meals drinks and games around the huge kitchen table . We really did have the best time away so many facility’s this house has to offer , we could enjoy music all around the house while having a lovely BBQ in the sunshine whilst watching everyone on the beach we there fun too . We had a few young children in our group including my 2 year old daughter I found the house to be very safe for her with keys for all the doors so I knew she couldn’t get to the pool without me knowing. The hot tub ans pool what are warm and inviting from the minute we arrived . Thanks to Anna we had a very straightforward check it and a detailed rundown of how to use everything in the house it was very helpful , This was my first time using Vrbo and I can’t fault our experience .
