The bed was great, and everything was awesome. It's just always the directions and getting to a place that is very stressful. We had a hard time getting there, figureing out the garage, and identifying the building. Maybe texting that with the address would be better, it was like the address will come in a separate email, and it was dark and very hard to find. I didn't realize the garage was in the construction zone, not the first entrance...all this clarification would have made it easier. Overall a great place.

Can’t say enough positive about our experience with Summit County Mountain Retreats. Communication was A+. Location is a few minutes drive from Keystone Resort. A few more minutes to A Basin, and a half hour from Breck. Our 6AM flight was canceled at 8PM the night before departure. Management allowed us to extend for an extra night at a very reasonable rate. Again, just a great experience all around for a “closing weekend” spring ski trip. Highly recommend!!

The condo is comfortable, clean, specious with beautiful views. Kitchen has everything you need and enjoyed the fireplace. Our family of 5 had enough space to connect and separate. Highly recommend.

We liked the well equipped kitchen with the new appliances, the view and plenty of room and separate beds (mattress) for each of the 3 teenagers. I would have liked the apartment even more if kitchen cabinets would not smell moldy, and the king bed in master would not be too soft and if those old bathroom taps would be easier to turn. None if these ruined the vacation. (The community pool did not have towels and the sauna was broken, but property management told me it is a HOA issue).

The twin bed was actually a day bed with a foot and headboard, which didn't allow for comfortable sleeping for a tall adult. I was glad we brought an air mattress as a backup for the fourth adult. We could not get the fireplace to work. What was most difficult was I received text messages asking for my departure time before I had even checked into the unit for the night. If check in is at 4:00 or 4:30 and check out is at 10 am, that is the time you paid for. You should not have to relay your arrival and departure times if they are within the set time frames. I was hoping to relax but kept receiving emails and texts about this unit. I understand over-communication can be helpful, but I found it to be distracting and unhelpful. I was happy to receive clear check-in instructions in advance, but that was all that was needed. The mini coffee pouches are not meant for that size coffee maker. We tried to make coffee at the appropriate strength for 4, but it didn't work well. We opted to go out and buy coffee in the morning. The mini shampoo and soaps were very hotel like, which was also tough for 4 people. It was a great location and spot for people who need a place to stay in the area, but I was frustrated by some of the things listed above. I have not had that experience when staying at other VRBO locations or Airbnb locations that are managed by an owner or a smaller company.

Unit was great with awesome views and space! King bed was very comfortable and TV and furniture in living area made for great sports watching over the weekend. Refrigerator needs replaced so it works consistently. If climbing stairs is an issue not best choice. We had no issues with it and I’m 62!

The condo was clean and well stocked. Having a pool and hot tub on site was a plus, however the hot tub was not working while we were there. No one’s fault but was a downer. Overall it was a great family trip and awesome memories were made!

We spent our honeymoon here. Coming from Kansas. And didn’t know about the altitude stuff. I had no idea it would mess with my husband as much as it did. He had to be put on oxygen for us be able to stay here. We spent 6 days 5 nights. This condo is absolutely beautiful! It’s spacious. Very clean! The beds were so comfy. And the kitchen was fully stocked with all the dishes an cooking pans you could think of! Had plenty of towels and wash clothes. And the view for the mountains are beautiful! Spa and pool are only available until 10pm. Which kinda upset us. We love to keep busy and relax at night. An would have loved to swim or get in the spa after along day. The property was very well maintained. The building was very clean. You do have to walk up 3 flights of stairs. But if you can handle the stairs. And your body can handle the altitude. This place is the one! Literally a place away from home! 🥰

This property was very clean, beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had a good supply of pots and pans and glasses. There was no cooking spices other than salt and pepper. Not a big deal but if you are cooking you need to purchase them. The management was good, we had a small issue and they took care of it right away. One other thing, there is a lot of big windows with no blinds so the morning light at 5AM is pretty bright. Otherwise a great place.

We ended up spending more time in the condo than we had expected due to rain and it was really nice to have the homey experience rather than a hotel. It also made the trip much more affordable than renting two hotel rooms, plus we cooked many of our meals there instead of dining out. If you have a problem with climbing stairs at this altitude it is not the place for you but we were fine.The king bed in the spacious upstairs loft was very comfortable. There was a lovely view from the loft out the windows in both directions. I was concerned that it might be too warm to sleep without air conditioning but it was perfect when we were there with the windows open. However, there was an issue with the floorplan with the noise carrying from below to the open loft since our family does not all go to bed at the same time.It was nice to have a queen and a twin in the second bedroom rather than two twins like other options that were available at our late booking date. Our adult children slept in that room and at 6'4" our son would not have fit well in a twin. There was an additional mattress in the closet that we could have used if another had decided to join us.The kitchen was well appointed. The only thing that I needed but could not find was a vegetable peeler.We had other relatives who stayed at the Keystone Lodge and Spa and once we figured it out it was an easy 8 minute walk on a pretty path past the tennis courts through a parking lot to the walkway under the highway to the Lodge. The Lodge has a beautiful trail around a lake as well as a restaurant and other amenities. River Run Village is also close by with the gondola to the top of Dercum Mountain, restaurants and shops.We did not use the indoor pool and hot tub but they were open. The tennis courts were right there and we played tennis a for a
