The location of this property is the best!!! Views are beautiful! Truly can walk to the beach. This place has 3 refrigerators if you rent the entire place. The property managers were super quick to respond to our issues! We never could fine the switch for the outside lights down stairs! Lol. Great house.

The property is in a great location with access to the gulf and intracoastal waterway. Caught a lot of fish. 4 were keeper size and a mix or reds, black drum and sheepshead. Would return again.

Nice place good fishing

Comfortable place to stay with lots of family and pets. Nice fishing dock on ICW with beach just across the beach access road.

We love the location of the “Roundhouse”. Ocean in the front and intercostal in the back.

We had such a great time! We loved the location and the roominess of the house! Maybe one day the upstairs kitchen/living room could be converted into extra bedrooms. But everything was amazing!

We stay here every year, you can fish in the canal or the surf side. Beach is never too crowded and there is plenty of space in the house for a nice comfortable vacation.

This is our second time to stay in the round house. The first time was in 2021. This year we had 15 people total. Eight adults and seven children ranging from one years to 14 years old. It is the perfect location to meet everyone’s needs. Walking across to the beach so the kids can collect shells boggy board and swim and build Sandcastles and then some can go on the dock and catch fish. We caught a 41 inch red drum, a 38 inch black drum along with multiple other fish. We also caught sharks jellyfish, and even a puffer fish. There’s enough room in the house for everyone to have their own space and underneath the house has the perfect amount of shade in the afternoons to get out of the sun for a little bit. We brought a portable hammock and it was used for naps every afternoon. We made daily stops at the liquor store, and the kids loved their slushy bar with all of the different types of flavors. The taco truck was also a favorite. For the things we forgot, or ran out of the dollar store in town had what we needed. But there’s not much more in the town so come prepared. As we were leaving my 10-year-old said that she can’t wait to come back into years and they want to make this a family tradition every other year. Would definitely recommend the Round house.

We had a large group with a mix of ages grandparents down to great grand child and had lots of space. Love the fact we had three fridges with the amount of food and drinks we had. The underneath area was a nice break and great place to hang in the evenings playing corn hole and kids were able to run around and we felt it was safe for them to do so. One of my grandsons used the fishing pier every day. Enjoyed watching the dolphins swim in the channel usually at sunset. Beach area was nice and not a lot of people. The manager of this property was quick to answer questions and helpful. We will definitely be back

Wonderful location excellent views from every deck. The owner was great answering any questions . House was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. Beach in front and fishing on the canal in the back was so cool. Got to see the dolphins playing in the canal. Most definitely would return.

This was our fourth stay at the Round House. This has always been my wife's favorite place to stay. Unfortunately, she passed away in March, so this was our families memorable stay this year, in her honor. My family of eight will continue to return here yearly. Maybe we will try a winter trip next time. It should be just as much fun for everyone. Carla Rae is wonderful and takes care of any needs you may have. Thalnks again.

Great having beach and intercostal just steps away. The location was absolutely Perfect. There was a strong smell inside the house I had to light a bunch of candles just to cover it. Also the decks and dock did not seem the most stable- I completely get that the salt water/air erode most everything but was definitely noticeable. Still a fantastic spot!

What a gem! The Roundhouse was PERFECT for the 10 of us (4 adults and 6 kids). With the ability to park at the house and not have to go anywhere was the best part! We went from fishing on the dock to playing at the beach in just steps. The house had everything we needed and plenty of space to enjoy. We plan to make this our yearly vacation rental!

We have a Sul Ross friends get together yearly. The house was very clean and had enough space for all of us. We had a great visit, good food and enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets! I am positive we will return with our own families.

Great location. The beach and ICW is walking distance from the house. Great view of the Gulf beautiful sunrise and sunset. We will be back next summer God willing.

Nice spacious place. Had a great time fishing. Unfortunately the night time fishing lights would not work. Called maintenance to have them fixed and they only worked for a short time before shutting off after they were repaired.

As far as the location goes, this property is very desirable. With a private pier and the beach in walking distance, we were able to enjoy fishing and the beach very conveniently. We caught some good size drum, reds, and stingrays. The outside of the property is very spacious, clean, and well maintained so the kids had plenty of space to run around. You don't feel like you are on top of the neighbors at all. As for the inside, we were dissatisfied to find that the three A/C units were not operational. It was stuffy inside the house and we could not leave doors or windows open because of mosquitoes and the draft was pulling doors shut as we were in and out and we were worried about the kids getting their fingers caught. In communicating to the host the morning of the second day, HVAC Tech was sent out promptly, but could not get the unit working. On our third day, the HVAC Tech was able to get one unit functional in the late afternoon. The unit was visibly old, rusted, and seemed to just not have been maintained. Additionally, we discovered that one of the toilets did not work. Last, we were surprised and taken back in discovering an obvious roach problem in the first floor kitchen, rooms, and bathrooms. While we loved the location and the host was pleasant, it appeared that the house was not well maintained. While we did enjoy our time, considering that we paid $2500+ for our stay, we were expecting a better experience.

I’ve been going to Sargent all my life and I’ve always wanted to stay at “The around House.” Had and awesome time and can’t wait to do it again!

We came for a Christmas vacation with my family and my husband’s family and had a wonderful time. There was something for everyone. This place was a fisherman’s delight with pier and surf fishing. Looking for seashells now the coast and hanging out on all the decks. No matter where you are in the house, you have a view of the water. The stairs, if you aren’t used to stairs I would say be prepared for a workout, but the view makes it so worth it.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving in the property with families and friends. We caught a 15 lbs redfish and several drums, as big as 18 lbs from the tunnel. Great experience!

We were looking for a bigger place for our growing family and the round house add on VRBO caught our eye in the search for beach, fishing and capacity for the clan. The round house did not disappoint for our requirements. We hope to stay again next year.

Everything about it this place was perfect. We're already trying to figure out another date to come back. From the Check in process all the way until the end. Fishing was great! have tons of pics of big fish from right across the house and also behind the house. Carla was very easy to work with and answered all questions immediately. Cant wait to come back again!

It was perfect for our family of 12 adults' and 2 children. The family was in ahhh they have never been to the gulf so we got to turn them all on two 3 tag red fish , 3 40 lb drum any all kinds of under size fish . They already want me to plan the next trip.

This location is superb for beach and fishing.

It is my 7th time renting this home. Lots of space. Kitchen well equipped. Hang out under the house, up on the deck, of on the pier. Kids love it. No close neighbors.
