Back to basic. Wir haben in einem der Dome übernachtet. Das ist sehr einfach. Der Sonnenuntergang und der Sternenhimmel sind der Hammer. Frühstücken unter freiem Himmel auf der kleinen Terrasse - Top. Bringen Sie Ihr eigenes Bier mit. Es gibt kein Restaurant in der Nähe.

Close to park. Dome was spacious and clean.
Not the best place for people with difficulty walking. We only stayed for one out of two nights. Breakfast was marginal.

Det ligger langt fra hvor man kan få noget at spise om eftermiddagen/ aften. Husk varmt tøj selvom det er varmt om dagen for dommes er meget kold om aften

Personal war nicht besonders freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Verpflegung sollte mitgenommen werden. Das in der Nähe liegende Restaurant hat nur begrenzt offen.
Ansonsten IHOP in Alamosa (50 km) gut und güstig.

Allein die Lage macht das hotel erträglich. In der kleinen Küche fehlen viele nötige Sachen. Keine Schüsseln, der Kühlschrank rumort, überall kleine tote Fliegen.

Ciekawe doświadczenie, spaliśmy w namiocie, widok na pobliski Great Sand Dunes. Oczywiście wnętrze malutkie, jest łóżko dwa stoliczki- taborety . Łazienki na zewnątrz, w miarę czyste. Śniadanie bylo miłym zaskoczeniem, bo w tych warunkach nie dało by się nic zrobić . Najlepsza sprawa to odwiedziny pana Pepperminta, który od razu się nami zaprzyjaźnił.
W namiocie przydałoby się kilka wieszaków, na tarasie stolik, bo w pokoju śniadaniowym nie ma nic- ani krzeseł ani stolików, więc jedzenie z tacą na kolanach, co nie jest najwygodniejsze. To samo w łazience - brak jakiejkolwiek półeczki , osobiście nienawidzę takich miejsc, bo co mam zrobić z rzeczami ? Trzymać w zębach ? Na głowie ? Na szyi ? Na jedną noc to miejsce do wytrzymania, na więcej - hardcore. I nie za taką cene.

The location of this hotel is amazing. It’s right by the sand dunes national park and by Zapata falls. The sunset views from the balcony brought tears to my eyes. So beautiful. There also rented the sand sleds on site. The sleds are 25$ for 24 hrs. The breakfast and snacks were great especially because this is the only place around for miles. They offer free snacks for your hike. The room was spacious and clean. Great stay!

The location to Great Sand Dunes National Park couldn't be better, just down the road. The rooms were clean, and there was free breakfast, but it gets crowded in there, it's a very small area. Staff was helpful and friendly, and I would stay there again.
I wish that there was somewhere to eat breakfast, you had to take it back to your room.

Location! There’s no better place to stay close to The Great Sand Dunes National Park. Staff was exceptional. Each room has a private patio facing the dunes, great view! The humming bird feeders were a nice touch.
Very few breakfast options for those that are gluten free. Good coffee.

You can rent sand sleds and sand boards right at the motel. The location is exceptional. You can also get and bake papa Murphy's pizza right in the lobby which was a great and cost effective option. I loved that our room had a fridge as we were road tripping and able to store food.

The location of the property is exceptional to anyone visiting the Great Sand Dunes National Park. The views of the national park from each room’s patio are beautiful. The rooms were a bit on the rustic side but very clean and safe. The complimentary breakfast was good and the other guests at the lodge were very pleasant. The on-site general store and restaurant were convenient and had a variety of good menu items.

Susan of the staff was very nice and sympathetic to my late arrival, offered free slice of newly baked pizza for dinner

Great location but facilities are, whilst clean and tidy little more than basic.
Breakfast in particular is very basic and lacks imagination. As it is a 'grab and go' concept some tray would be handy!

Was told the room had a mountain view but it was one of only two rooms w a view up the backside and camper lot. Was charged extra for mountain view. The other rooms had patios out back facing the Dunes.

The room had many appliances... Fridge, microwave, stove... Which can be useful for people bringing in food to cook or warm up.
Room lacked usb charging which is standard today.

Dirty towels, dirty walls, stained sheets, moldy gross shower, toilet that only sometimes flushed, just overall really run down. Especially for the cost per night. Also, there was no one at the lodge working during check-in. They had my key taped to the office door with my name on it. Felt unsafe to me. We left and stayed in Alamosa.
