Although it was difficult to find, once we were there the home fit our needs perfectly. There were three of us so plenty of sleeping space, the kitchen and laundry made the stay pleasant and convenient. the home is in a gated community so we felt safe. The local area is very vibrant with activity and the beach is a short walk away. It is a part area, so if that is not your jam, you may not love it. The area is also a good jumping off point for day trips and the roads this time of year were pretty good unlike other areas.

This has been our 2nd year renting this lovely home in August. Perfectly cool and breezy evenings. Refreshing pool for a dip after our daily ATV adventures beach hopping and exploring. We simply adore Janet the caretaker and the occasional visit from Tuco. Highly recommend this home if you’re looking for a private hideaway. We’ll be back again.

We had the greatest time and wished we could have stayed longer! Janeth and Soraya were both amazing! We rented two ATV's which were perfect for our family of 4 and really enjoyed Hermosa beach for lounging and surfing. It was raining season so internet was not working but for our family that was actually the best thing that could have happened, so we could actually bond in the evening rather than just having the kids and my husband on phones. :) Only recommendations I would give is to provide a starter coffee set and have salt and pepper. We did arrive late, made it to the store but totally forgot coffee and salt and would have loved to wake up that first morning to that GORGEOUS view with a delicious cup of Costa Rican coffee. Janeth brought us salt asap. I work for Marriott so that may just be a hotel girl thing! :) and it was a minor thing. The stay was amazing and we will be back for a longer period of time. One Hermosa Lane was the perfect spot away from the hustle and bustle of Santa Teresa. Everything in the house is new and in great condition. Janet, the grounds person, was very sweet and took great care of the property. She recommended Playa Hermosa and that became our favorite beach. We had one problem with an AC unit and it was fixed immediately! We loved coming back here after a long day of exploring or beaching, to relax by the pool and grill some burgers! We hope to return someday soon.

I have been to Santa Teresa twice now and had the opportunity to stay in many different listings around the area but this is by far the only place I'll ever want to stay from now on. Daily cleaning helped us to really relax on our holiday and the views from the property are unbeatable - the pictures don't do it justice. If you have an ATV or car you're only a short 10 min drive to the stunning Hermosa beach where you'll also find some lovely cafes and a supermarket. This property is ideal for BBQ's, relaxing and doing yoga. It might not be in the heart of Santa Teresa but when you stay at Eric's place you'll fall in love with the tranquility of the Hermosa area. Thank you for an incredible and unforgettable stay!

My family has been to this area every year for 20 years. As Santa Teresa is getting more crowded, this was the perfect oasis just up the hill. Amazing property management and cleaning, awesome surf shop, restaurant, and grocery just down the road. The rancho with grille by the pool is awesome. The house was great‐ well designed, open air, and private.

Such a beautiful place.

This is a perfect house with most amazing views and sunsets. The house is very private and located in an amazing neighborhood 15 minutes from all the beaches , restaurants and super market. The staff were on top of everything and the house was equipped with everything a family with 3 kids would need. Soraya is the main contact and she helped us with everything we needed including our rental car , our atv and recommendations of places to go. Janet is the caretaker/cleaner of the house and cleaned up the house on a daily basis and even babysat our kids. There is monkeys that come every morning to eat from the banana plants which our kids loved watching. We really enjoyed every minute of this house and landed up staying for 47 days. Highly recommend this House and staff and thank you for an amazing vacation.

We really enjoyed the house and pool. Very tranquil setting and the house is beautiful. Great setup for two couples with everything you need. Only challenge is the access road as the road up to the house is a typical CR adventure. Loved every minute of our stay and hate to leave!

This property was exactly as advertised. The house itself is a modern beauty that is open air when you want it to be to enjoy the surroundings and can be closed up to keep the critters out at night. Jeannette does a fabulous job of keeping everything perfect and impeccably clean. We could not have asked for a more restful and picturesque experience. We spent every morning enjoying the beautiful bird life- especially the pair of bat falcons. A four by four is required for the rough and steep road up to the property but this is needed most places in Costa Rica. Santa Teresa offered great food and a surprisingly diverse grocery selection and it was nice to leave the dusty streets behind in the evening to enjoy the sunset from the expansive deck at the house. We could not have asked for anything more- thank you!

This place is so peacefull and private. Scenery cant be explained. The birds monkeys cows just make it over the top. Pool is nice patio and fire pits were s treat. House is well equipped with high quality cooking gear. Only complaint is water supply is tight. We will be back. Thankyou staff!!

Overall, best home we have rented over the years. Everything was perfect (house is in perfect condition, top-notch cleaning service). Nothing negative to comment on.

Great house in a great location.

Amazing home and stay. Make sure to get the address in advance before making the trip since property managers are hard to get a hold of. Also drive an SUV there as the roads can be a bit scary.

Perfect place- we enjoyed every bit of it!

Our family of four, including two teenage boys stayed here for 10 days in February. We loved it! Soraya was great. We missed our flight, missed picking up our rental car. Soraya made a few phone calls and got us a ride into the villa from the ferry, AND had our car delivered the next day! Wow. Jeanette was fabulous and cleaned every day. We only wish we knew more Spanish and are committed to learning for next year. The place is spacious, comfortable, beautiful surroundings, well equipped, clean and neat. We kept our windows and doors open every night enjoying the sounds of the cattle moving, early morning howler monkeys and birds. I ran along the roads from the villa every day. I saw monkeys nearby every single day! It was a bit dusty but not unpleasant. Locals were very friendly, always smiled or waved, everyone was very kind. We never felt unsafe. The food was soooo good, we ended up eating out almost every night. Mostly down to the small restaurants along Santa Teresa. Can’t wait to go back! Miss it already!

Eric’s house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need while on vacation. The pool is perfect and gets the perfect amount of sun and shade at the right times during the day. The views and sunsets are amazing and there are cows lazingnin the hills outside your door when you wake up in the morning! Great location as well. You are super close to Santa Teresa and Hermosa but up in the hills you can be away from it all at the same time.

Beautiful, magical home with all of the amenities one could ask for. Very special experience staying here. We would definitely return again.

This rental is a great design suited perfectly for its lot. Beautiful views, tranquil, great location for the beach and close to Santa Teresa’s restaurants and amenities. The housekeeper is fantastic and so friendly. Can’t say enough positives! Looking forward to a return trip!

Great place.

We loved our stay at this property in the Santa Teresa area. The view was outstanding. The home is perfectly designed with concrete countertops and floors and simple but high-end, beautiful architecture. But one of the best parts of this rental was our wonderful housekeeper, Janeth. She was incredibly sweet and friendly and cleaned everyday which was unexpected and such a bonus. Thank you, Janeth! You definitely need a 4x4 to get to this property but should rent one anyways while visiting Costa Rica. Eric recommended maps.me app which was incredibly helpful while in CR as it functions offline! Luxury experience with many of the amenities provided (cookware, soap/shampoo, yoga matts, fresh towels, grill, etc). The home and location are absolutely beautiful. Good communication from property managers and the onsite house-keeper was very friendly. You will need a car to access this property since it is in the mountains - something with clearance would be recommended since the roads leading up to the home are dirt. Would stay here again in heartbeat!

We stayed 8 days at One Hermosa Lane, but we wish it would have been 80. The house is a real gem. You are surrounded by nature. Just sit there and wait until tons of birds, monkeys, lizards, frogs and butterflies show up to say hi. The house is spotless and the true star is Janet, the caretaker. She was friendly, extremely helpful and our two boys fell in love with her straight away. Overall a solid 10 out of 10.

The house was fantastic. Perfect size for our family of 5. Beautiful indoor/outdoor living space, great pool, fantastic sunsets. Very private location, although there was an unoccupied rental right next door. Janeth, the housekeeper, was great. Soraya, the house manager, was incredibly helpful and responsive. Easy drive down the hill to Hermosa beach and restaurants. A little longer ride to Santa Teresa...about 10-12 minutes to the north end of town of Santa Teresa. We would go back!

We loved this house. Would like to build it for ourselves! This area of Costa Rica is the dry tropical forest and it was very dry when we were there. Most of the roads we drove were not paved. Lots of dips and dust, but part of the adventure. Suggest flying into Tambor instead of driving from Liberia or San Jose. There's also another property right next to this house. It was occupied our last few days. They didn't bother us but we could definatly hear them. We felt very taken care of and had a great time.
