This house is clean and well kept (feels like a recent paint, etc.). Updates are done well but basic. It is an older house so stairs are steep (especially to 3rd floor (attic)). Bedrooms are a good size with plenty of closet space. Main living area has a good layout for a group. Furniture is adequate but sparse. Bedrooms could use end tables and lamps. Living room could be set up a little smarter (we actually flipped some of the seating to make it work better). Kitchen appliances were good but was hard to serve a dinner for the house (not a lot of serving platters or utensils, not enough matching plates, we actually bought forks to have enough). Navigating 2 bathrooms in a 5 bedroom house was challenging but doable. Bottom line: definitely recommend it for a weekend or a short stay, especially if you are planning on spending time exploring the local sites. If you are looking for a week or longer and plan on spending most of your time at the house, it might be a bit challenging.

We were in town for a family wedding. This place was everything I wanted & everything it advertised itself as. No bad surprises, only nice ones. The house was spotless and amenities fine. Stairs were narrow, but we are an older group. Location was great, so close to the center of the boardwalk. The street was very narrow and the advertised off-street parking was essential, again as described. I hope to hav3 an opportunity to rent it again.

What a convenient location! What a beautiful property! This house was exactly what we—the family of the bride—needed for a weekend wedding. Walking distance to the beach, the boardwalk, and downtown; plenty of space in the house for meals and family time; and a quiet nighttime experience for the youngest members of our family. This property was perfect for us!

This house was the absolutely perfect for our weekend in Asbury. It slept everyone comfortably, had a large space for us to hang out and catch up, and was located near to everything we wanted to do in town. Dileimys was so kind and easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. The neighborhood is quiet. Loved everything about the weekend!

Property is as is in the listing. Lots of charm, a lot of space too! The location was perfect, just a few blocks to the boardwalk, restaurants, etc. Would stay here again.

Our group got together at this fabulous property in a bit of a post-quarantine celebration and had a simply fantastic time. The property was clean, well appointed, and perfectly located to all the attractions Asbury Park has to offer. Could not be more pleased with our stay on Heck Street!

The house is roomy, with lots of character. The beds were comfy, and we had everything we needed for a great stay. The owner was very good with communicating. Check in and check out were easy. The house is just a quick little walk to the beach

The house is full of character and super comfortable. It was also super close to the boardwalk and to our wedding venue. Dileimys went way beyond what most hosts would do to help us. Our dog broke his hip four days before the wedding and she helped us make an accommodation for him at the house. She was super responsive and friendly, but beyond that- she was very kind.

Communication with the owner was stellar. The house is a beautiful older home in a perfect location just a few blocks from the famous Asbury Park boardwalk. The bedrooms could use side tables, but other than that, a perfect visit.

Our third time staying at this lovely home in a great location close to the beach. Not fancy but very comfortable and it has everything you need. Very nice owner who is easy to communicate with and wants you to be happy.

This Property is very close to the beach and boardwalk. I walked to both in the evenings without any issue as it was less than a mile away. The property was clean and well decorated and instructions from the owner are clear and communicated well. Would recommend to anyone!

We were there for a girls weekend and really love the house. It had a lot of character as it was an older house and it had plenty of sleeping space. It was located very close to town which made everything within walking distance.

Our stay was great, we easily had room for everyone and the house was very comfortable. It is only a short walk to the boardwalk/ beach. The front porch is amazing and huge. Check in/out process was very easy. Would love to stay here again! Thanks!!

Our stay at the Heck house was wonderful!! My family rented the house because we had a wedding down Asbury Park and the location of the house was nearby. It was just what we wanted, very spacious, clean and comfortable. Dileimys was very easy to work with and got back to me very quickly with answers to all my questions. I would highly recommend this house to rent for your vacation.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Heck House this summer. Everything was as advertised or better. Communicating with Dileimys Franco was simple and very pleasant. The house was perfect for our large, adult/late teen aged family, with more space available than expected. Everything was clean and in excellent working order. The grill was a brand new Weber Grill and the large front porch was a bonus. The location to the beach and boardwalk was a short, easy walking distance, and yet the house was in a quiet, tree lined, family style neighborhood. Overall, this was wonderful place to stay!!! Thank you for a great family vacation!!!

Nicely renovated, funky, fun and stylish decor. Perfect for a casual beach vacation. Few blocks to the ocean was very convenient. Great time.

We really enjoyed staying at this property and it was perfect for what we needed. Old home and creaky wood floors made it interesting with sleeping babies but no biggie. Coffee maker was broken so first morning was rough but owner immediately rectified and gave extra off for the trouble so that was nice. Great place for families and near the beach and entertainment. Last issue was parking was horrible on street and someone parked in front of our driveway where we couldn’t even back our vehicle out one day.

Heck House was everything it promised to be and more! My group of 9 had all the necessary amenities for our Memorial Day Weekend visit. The grill, the blender for frozen cocktails, and the incredible front porch were great touches and ceratinly helped us kick off summer! The first floor layout was perfect for a group. We had a lot of laughs and delicious meals around the large dining room table and the abundance of bedrooms allowed for everyone to have their own space. The house's location was perfect as it was just a quick walk to the beach or the hopping downtown area. This house and neighborhood really have something for everyone. Dileimys was attentive, accomodating, and made check in/out a breeze. We loved our stay at Heck House and would absolutely come back!

We had five adults in the house and were very comfortable. The house is only a few short blocks to the Boardwalk and within easy walking distance of the business district and the downtown restaurants. The Heck House is representative of the homes in Asbury Park so you feel like one of the locals. We would stay here again, and again.

Had a great 3 night stay in this charming home. Would definitely recommend! We split the home among 8 friends and there was more than ample space for us. The bedrooms are all a good size. What really sells the place is the main floor. It's perfect for group dinners and lounging. The kitchen, dining room w/ bar, and living room are all next to each other and are rather large. The porch was the icing on the cake. The location was perfect for exploring Asbury - few minute walk to everything on Cookman and a super short walk to the convention center end of the boardwalk. The street is pretty quiet as well which made it a good balance of being close to the action while having a quiet safe haven to come back to. The owners checked in on us throughout the weekend to make sure all our needs were met and that everything was going well. All interactions were easy and pleasant. Thanks for hosting us!
