This condo has 4 bedrooms. We had plenty of room for married kids and some grandkids. We had so much walking the beach and finding shark teeth. And the grandkids swam at least twice a day. Best holiday time with family.

Our unit was clean and just as pictured. The kitchen was lacking a coffee maker when we arrived but within an hour of calling - one was delivered to us! Also I’m glad I brought my own fry pan from home as the one supplied was small and not a non stick pan. The sleeper sofa in the living room was very uncomfortable to sit on. But the beds were great! The last few days of our stay the dishwasher stopped working and someone came to look at it even though it was a Sunday. He said someone would be back the next day to fix it- which to my knowledge didn’t happen, so I had to hand wash our last days dishes before check out. Overall we loved our stay and would love to return!

The best thing about this property is the location. The unit was run down. Not a good choice for someone in a wheelchair.

Overall the condo was spacious and the ocean view was nice. The showers were moldy and one shower did not have shampoo or soap holder had to use floor or remove items from shower. The dryer takes a long time to dry items. I WOULD NOT rent this property from VRBO because you are limited to some resort amenities, no pool towels, children's activities, room service, and no access to any of the handicap items the resort provides to the guest that rent thru the on site rental!! The staff was friendly and the common areas were nice and clean. The unit really needs a good cleaning and updating for the rates they are charging. The resort rentals are less expensive than the VRBO rental with all the extra fees. I would return to the Island Vista but not thru VRBO due to limitations of all the property has to offer.

We did have issues with a tv loosing power, a bath tube drain not draining and clothes dryer not drying very good. One phone call and the maint tech was there within 24 hours fixing it all. And the beach nor pool were crowded at all. This was even over the 4th of July. Only thing was that the VRBO price was a bit higher than what the Resort charges. Other than that, it was a great vacation.

My husband and I brought our grown daughters and their families. We stayed in a 4-bedroom condo. There was 6 adults and 6 grandchildren. We all had plenty of room. The resort offered something for every age group. It was perfect. The room could use a little updating and maybe a little more time on the deep cleaning. The view took us away from noticing much of anything. Loved it and will return.

The location is great! Once we self- cleaned our room everything was good. The Cyprus room is not open late. The Tiki Bar was never open. The pools are warm and clean. I would stay at the resort again but never through this private rental and management company.

We enjoyed this condo very much! Lots of room. The property was perfect for kids. One small maintenance issue that was resolved within a couple of hours.

Overall we had a great stay. The condo was clean and had a beautiful oceanfront view; the location was great for our family with kids— close to activities like mini golf and boardwalk as well as grocery stores. I gave 4 stars versus 5 for a couple minor things. One- the dryer took forever to dry. It seemed like the door had a bit of a gap & that made it hard to dry and my father in law said the venting looked like it probably needed to be fixed. Two- my mother & father in law arrived prior to us and informed us of the mini fridge in the lockout room was leaking. Maintenance promptly came up but didn’t really fix the issue just told them to keep it propped up. Maintenance also told them they’d be replacing the toaster & coffee maker but also never replaced those during our week. (They functioned, the toaster just took forever to toast, not sure about the coffee maker cause I don’t drink coffee so I didn’t use it at all to see what the issue was). Three- there was nothing in the description about umbrellas, bogey boards, chairs, and sand toys being in the condo so we rented some only to find them in the closet. I’m actually surprised it wasn’t advertised given that it seemed to be a family friendly resort and those are some things families look for in these types of rentals. Overall we enjoyed the condo and would rent again. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of space for 4 adults and 4 kids, we didn’t have any issues as others reported of noise from pipes, crud from the spa tub In master, etc. The walk in closet in the master bedroom fit a rollaway crib comfortably, the beach was not crowded at all as the resort is situated between houses versus next to another resort, and they had live music in the evenings that was nice to listen to from our balcony. The cypress room served a delicious breakfast and all staff we interacted with at the resort were wonderful!

The unit just wasn’t clean. Baseboards look like they haven’t been dusted in years. Behind and underneath the furniture had layers of dust. The shower curtains had mildew that we had to spray with Clorox. The caulking in showers was mildewed and the jets in the tub had mildew around them. Three people in our group actually got cold symptoms from all the dust. I also found there was no filter on the air return. Very disappointed for the price paid.

Nice property. Tiki bar closed at 4??? Restaurant opened at 5??? Not well appointed. One large pot - one wine glass. The worst part was the door did not lock. You could open it by pushing without the code. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Probably will not return

We were somewhat disappointed with the unit. Upon our arrival, we discovered a full load of damp towels in the dryer. We had to rewash them and dry them. That is when we found out that the washing machine was so loud that we couldn't hear each other talk. And the dryer couldn't handle a full load of towels, so we had to divide the load. The whole process took us over 3 hours. The toilet in the lock -off master was not working properly. In addition, the water pipe in the unit kept squealing intermittently, even when we were not using any water. The location of the resort was wonderful, as were the amenities. The beach was clean and not overly crowded. There were many good restaurants nearby. We will definitely stay at the resort again. However, we will not stay in that unit again. Also, we learned that for the same price, we could have rented a similar unit directly through the resort and gotten daily towel service. I think that the unit owners need to provide better accommodations for their guests.

Everything was perfect, except we could have used a cart to help bring things to our room, we had to make several trips. We were told by the front desk that we did not book through them so we could not use their cart. The washing machine was super loud and the beds were a little hard.

Needed carts to help with luggage, parking not so great....light bulb was out, we had joining rooms and had to call to get door code because we got locked out of that part of the condo....overall beautiful place great views, and amenities. Very convenient to places in town. In short, we will stay there again...we are making plans now 😀

The condo was clean and fresh, if you have stayed in Mrytle beach area before you will love the location of private beaches is what you are looking for. Nestled between the out skirts of Mrytle heading to North Mrytle with private communities surrounding both sides of the condo. The facility is large enough to enjoy and has the necessary restaurant / bar area for use in way to pool or beach. The unit had plenty space for 10 with good accommodations and wonderful views.

The pools and outdoor space are beautiful and clean. The unit we stayed in was “surface” clean but corners and under the beds were not. We actually found a child’s slipper under the bed, along with some candy wrappers, etc. My biggest disappointment was when I filled the jacuzzi tub and turned on the jets, lots of crud flew out; so it clearly needs a good cleaning. The washing machine is REALLY loud and the dryer doesn’t work well and each small load had to be run through several cycles. On the plus side, the beds were VERY comfortable and the linens were good. Overall, I would recommend but the few issues noted should be addressed.

Everything about this condo is wonderful. The pics in the ad are exactly what you'll see when you walk in the door. We used the pool and the exercise facility daily and had a great time. The kitchen had everything we needed and we ate in almost every meal. Thanks for a great vacation!

My only complaint with my stay was that I attempted to use the jet tub and once the jets turned on a ton of filth came out and of course I was no longer interested in using the tub. Everything else was wonderful. The place was clean, right on the beach, the pools were great. I would make sure to have help getting luggage up stairs because the hotel does not let you use their luggage carts.

This time rented through Luxury Beach Rentals and was disappointed with the quality of furnishings in the condo for the price we paid. Furniture needs replacing and bed comforters need replacing. The one king ocean front room was extremely small and an add on hotel room to this condo. Very misleading on the website for a four bedroom rental. Will not use this rental again.
