Family of 6 adults. Ideal accomodation. Did have trouble with central heating first day but all good after that.
Only criticism was TV was very small for what one would expect in a property of this standard.

Accommodation was great, we had everything we needed and lots of space, which was ideal for me and my colleagues. The garden was quite splendid.

So close to town. Everything was as advertised. The property worked so well for us that we will book it again next visit. Two problems were the very small TV and no heating in kitchen / dining area.
However we had such a relaxing stay, thank you bookabach.

The property overlooks Lake Wakatipu and the views are awesome. It is about a twenty minute walk from the Queenstown town centre. The house was in good order. Clean and tidy. The only thing we found a little frustrating was removal of rubbish. We were eight people in the house for ten days and we ate home a lot so we had to be extra careful but we did manage in the end. Great place to stay!

Our stay at The Lakes Edge made our snow trip during Winter Pride so much easier.
The house was quirky, warm and spacious with very large living areas and a good dining area. We hired a jacuzzi which went into the back yard with Spa Hire Queenstown and it was already set-up and hot by the time we got in on the first afternoon.
Goodstays manage the property well and are very responsive. I recommend staying here!

This was great accommodation for our family group of 6 adults and one small person. The house was warm and comfortable despite the chilly temperatures outside. The living areas were spacious with great views of the lake and mountains. The location is quiet- away from the bustle but only a short 10 min walk through the Gardens to downtown.

Spacious House. Had everything we required as a large group of 8 travelling. Great location, very quiet. Communications up to and through out with Goodstays was excellent.

Overall, we had a really lovely stay at this property. The location is amazing being so close to the water and ideally about a 10 minute walk into town. The house was great although could do with a bit of maintenance and an upgrade. Majority of the doors didn’t close properly and simple things like putting fly screens on the windows would be amazing to prevent bugs getting in but still being able to enjoy the fresh lake air. The check in process was simple and easy and communication was fast when required.

The house was so accommodating with 6 adults and 2 children, plenty of room, lovely view of lake etc.

We absolutely loved our stay at the lakes edge. Lovely and warm, great comfortable beds, plenty of room to relax and enjoy the million dollar views of the lake and snow capped mountains. Will definitely be back

Beautiful accomodation
This house was perfect for our stay over the new year. It was very spacious and managed to fit 9 of my friends and family comfortably. We paid for an extra bed which was ready for us in the master bedroom when we arrived. The house was also extremely tidy and had gorgeous views of the lake. The only thing that we did find a bit annoying was that some of the doors upstairs would not close properly (especially the main bathroom) meaning that they would open by themselves if there was a little bit of wind. Hopefully that is something that can be fixed for future people staying. However, fair to say that the accomodation exceeded our expectations, especially for the price! Would highly recommend for a big group of people.

OVERALL , IT IS IN A GREAT LOCATION CLOSE TO TOWN WITH PARKING FOR 2 CARS. ITS ON A CUL DE SAC IN PRIVATE AREA. THE HOUSE HAS WONDERRFUL AMENITIES BUT THERE ARE CERTAIN CHALLENGES. THE MAJOR BEING TRASH ALOCATION OF 2 BAGS FOR YOUR ENTIRE STAY. THE HOUSE NEEDS TRASH & RECYCLING BINS WHICH ARE NOT PROVIDED. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS BE PROVIDED BY OWNERS. IN ADDITION, HEATERS WERE NOT WORKING IN BATHROOMS UPSATIRS, SOME DOORS SQUEEKED(MASTER BEDROOM) AND NO DISH TOWELS/POTHOLDERS PROVIDED IN THE KITCHEN. HAVING SAID ALL THIS, I DEFINITELY WOULD RENT THE HOUSE AGAIN, HOPEFULLY WITH THESE IMPROVEMENTS.

There is a deck that we sat on every evening with a wine and soaked in the views. The house is tidy and spacious with all the ammenities you need. The location is an easy walk (15 minutes) in to town - especially as was walking with a pram- thru the Queenstown Gardens. Many places 'close' to town require you to walk up a huge hill, this is not the case at The Lakes Edge. Perfect spot as the neighbourhood is peaceful with no noise issues. Good Stays were professional to deal with at all stages in the booking. We had one hiccup on arrival where we were missing the mattress to the portacot we had organised and they delivered in within a couple of hours. We were traveling with my two young kids and Good Stays helped to organise a high chair and portacot which was really helpful. There are lots of stairs and glass tables so not overly kid friendly but think you will come across that in any holiday rental. Thanks for an amazing holiday!

It was a really lovely house and we had a great time however wouldn't return here if I had to deal with gwen again. Thanks Madi
