What a lovely property. Superbly stocked with everything you could possibly need & all high quality. There were 5 of us & we had plenty of room & felt very much at home. Would definitely recommend.

The house itself was built in 1927 and had been elegantly restored and appointed. Everything in the house is of top quality from the champagne glasses, to the cookware and a spice rack better stocked than ours at home. Lauren made us feel welcome and had some pleasant surprises waiting for us upon our arrival. The backyard is picturesque overlooking the ocean, well landscaped and hummingbirds flying around throughout the day. The hot tub is very nice as well. Finally the location could not have been more convenient for beaches, biking (three nice bikes in the garage), downtown and restaurants. We hope to come back again.

From start to finish our experience was 5 stars. The homeowner was absolutely phenomenal at communication, and flexibility From the time we began our VRBO search, questions. planning and arrival details the communication was fast, detailed and fabulous costumer service. The home was in the perfect location to all that Santa Barbara has to offer, very close to the wharf, State Street, the Pier and right next to a beachfront park. We were in town for our daughters UCSB graduation and the location also worked well for all of the University festivities. The home itself was impeccably groomed, from the landscaping, to the cleanliness of every nook and cranny. The linens were fabulous. The house was stocked with everything you could possibly think of, the indoor outdoor living was amazing, with wonderful views and a great place to entertain the family during the Graduation weekend. We had a wonderful luxurious weekend and would highly recommend it! OUr only negative is that we didn't find this wonderful Santa Barbara oasis until our daughter was done at UCSB!!!!!!

This house is a delight; it is beautiful, comfortable and the best equipped vacation home that we have ever experienced any where in the world. The house was prepared and presented with meticulous attention to detail for the comfort of guests. The provision of excellent toiletries and starter items in the fridge make it easy to settle in quickly. The range of kitchen equipment and wide selection of herbs make this a very satisfying place to cook and enjoy good local produce. Finally; Lauren is a kind and charming host.

It is contemporary, but very warm and even cozy, which is surprising due to the generous sizes of the rooms. We could sleep all evening with the screened doors open, listening to the soothing pulses of the ocean, as the waves came onshore. The gardens were lush and green. We felt as though we were in Italy eating in some swanky grotto. Truly, if we could afford it, we would buy this home, and not change a thing.

We had the most wonderful family vacation here and it had everything to do with this home. The location is great as you can walk to multiple beaches and parks and it's relatively close to downtown. The views are extraordinary and we decided that the backyard is better than the beach, all the beauty without the chaffing sand. The inside is just as lovely, a great layout, incredibly clean and every amenity you could want or need, we were even greeted with some delicious munchies! The kitchen is beyond, a chef's dream, I just wish I had more desire to cook while on vacation. Seriously, I have to go get my knives sharpened now because I realize how dull they are after using the ones here. Everything is made very easy, it was truly the best rental experience we've ever had.

We just returned from a fabulous stay at this meticulous home. The owner thought of every little detail right down to a few things to get us started with a wonderful five night visit. A beautiful bowl of strawberries and other refreshments were waiting upon our arrival! The home sits in a perfect location with a view few get the opportunity to enjoy. It is tucked in and very private. The kitchen is well appointed and we had a great time staying in and cooking at home for several meals. The list of local favorites and recommended spots, as well as a complete run down of the house was also provided and so it made our stay that much more perfect. Looking forward to staying at this beautiful spot again as soon as we return to Santa Barbara. Many thanks again for sharing your little slice of heaven with us!

My family and I stayed at the house for five days and it was absolutely the most relaxing home we have rented. The house is spectacular, the owner has thought of everything you might need when traveling, the location can not be beat. It has great beach access, is just a few doors down from one of the best parks in the city, and we saw whales and dolphins going by every day that we were there. The owner was very prompt in her responses to all of my questions, and met us a the house when we got in and was exceptionally friendly and accommodating to our requests. We will definitely be staying at this house again when we return to Santa Barbara in the future.

If I could give this place ten stars I would. Great location next to Shoreline Park and a ten minute walk to the Harbor. Great grocery store and other shopping nearby. The house has a panoramic view of sunsets on the Pacific and is just half a block from the "Thousand Steps" (actually 148 +/-) down to the beach. I enjoyed it immensely, and only wish I could have stayed longer. I wish it were for sale!

Prepare to be Amazed!!! This Home is spectacular. The views are epic. The whole experience is magical. This Italian style villa is filled with charm, comfort and elegance. I spent a week at the villa and couldn’t be happier. Everything you need is here. Top of the line appliances, appointments and creature comforts. You feel at home while you know you are part of something very special. Lauren the owner is a fantastic resource of knowledge of the area and is a pleasure to work with. She has gone the extra mile and then some to bring this very special slice of Santa Barbara to a crescendo that explodes with life. As you have your morning breakfast you are greeted by hummingbirds sipping nectar from the gardens beautiful flowers. You see pelicans soar past these cliff side views. Your views of the Chanel islands and Pacific ocean are unforgettable. You could spend your entire stay in the kitchen and you wouldn’t be disappointed. But there is so much more! The high end Italian cinema theme throughout the home is perfectly done. Little treats pop up at every turn. The Fireplace is magnificent and keeps you warm on and cozy at night. The home has every high tech amenity you could ask for while retaining its classy and timeless roots. From the bedding to the utensils, no expense has been spared to bring the visitor an experience that leaves you tickled. You would be doing yourself a huge favor by having this experience. I have been spoiled by Lauren and her home, this is the only way to experience Santa Barbara. Thank you.

We are 3 couples from AZ NC & WI with a 27 year long friendship. This was an ideal property to to catch up, relax and enjoy being together. Many hours were spent on the back deck with cocktails overlooking the ocean. The vine covered ramada was a highlight for a candlelight dinner to reminisce and discuss plans for the future. The home is meticulously maintained and boasts an enviable kitchen which is equipped with everything you could imagine. For us having an equal number of baths to bedrooms was key. The property itself combined with a thoughtful & attentive owner makes up a pretty ideal property. Thank you Lauren.

The house is in a prime location, overlooking the beautiful Pacific ocean and steps away from a small beach that is great to walk down to with the kids in the morning. Lauren has thought of everything for this house- and the photos and description she have are totally true! - latest appliances, televisions, netflix, music- The beds are really comfortable and the house is never hot. As a mom of small kids I also really liked that the house is safe, no chance of kids escaping from backyard. The house was very clean- we were provided shower gel, body cream, washing detergent, hand soup… the list goes on. Lauren is extremely available and helpful. I would definitely recommend this home and hope to visit again soon! In Santa Barbara we strongly recommend the Four Seasons´restaurant: Bellavista on Channel Drive- Chef Grant is amazing. A visit to SeaCenter at Stearn´s wharf, fishing with Truth Aquatics, a visit to the Mission…. there are very many things to do and enjoy!
