We enjoyed everything about this condo. It was perfect for our family. Very clean. Had plenty of towels and supplies. We loved the big patio. Loved being able to walk to the slopes and shops and restaurants. We will probably stay here again.

It was too cold to use the balcony much but the view was amazing, right on the main stretch of the village, and would be a great place to hang out in the warmer months. Easy walk to the Gondola. The only downside to the condo was that the blinds were pretty thin and with the lights from River Run the rooms were pretty bright for sleeping.

The location is great and we had a fabulous time in the village. However, several items were damaged or broken including a missing kitchen cabinet door, two were crooked and off track. There was feces and urine on the patio so we never used patio which was a main reason for booking this particular place. Dining room light could not be used because it flickered constantly. No DVD player in family so we could not watch movies we brought. Bedroom dvd players can’t be connected in family room. Kitchen should have a cutting board. Family room carpet rolling up which was a tripping hazard. Closets were filled with extra lamps, furniture etc which took up nearly half the closet space. Humidifiers were moldy and required extensive cleaning before use. Too much furniture in family room. End tables stacked up and hard to maneuver through furniture because room was so crowded. Happy to provide pictures of any of these issues. Each individual issue on its own would not have been a big deal but when added up meant the property was in pretty rough condition, especially for the price paid. If these issues are addressed I would wholeheartedly recommend this property.

They act as lampshades for the lights on the square down below. Unless you like to sleep with the bedside lamp on, don’t stay here.2.) the HOA hired contractors who entered the condo while we were out WITHOUT ANY PRIOR NOTICE! Unacceptable! They moved our personal belongings around & had access to everything we had in the condo. 3.) the tvs run ROKU only. Terrible system - I am not a fan.

This is a great location for any of the summer festivals. Right over River Run Village - large balcony with plenty of seating. It is behind the stage - but is great for people watching!

Centrally located in River Run, steps away from the gondola and everything the village has to offer. The living area is big enough for all to relax comfortably and bedrooms were well appointed with en-suite and comfy beds. Only niggle was the dishwasher and washing machine which were a little old and didn’t clean too well. Possibly need a good cleaning themselves!? Overall, very good and would recommend.

The one thing that was difficult to get over is that the sun coming through the windows in the morning. All windows only have paper thin blinds. Excellent if you want to wake up very early otherwise bring sleeper masks if you want to sleep past 7am.

You are in the center of the village with all the shops, restaurants and gondola steps away. Our experience with checking in was less than ideal. Rental states 4:30 check in but when we arrived the cleaning crew was still there and after calls to the company we were finally able to move in at 6:00pm! The sliding glass door was dirty, food was left in the freezer, the refrigerator door handle was broken and just hanging on, and the trash cabinet and drawers in the master bedroom were both broken. We notified the company of the refrigerator door b/c we did not want to charged with breaking it. The master bed and the two twins are so very firm and uncomfortable to sleep on.

The unit itself was perfect for our family of 7. It’s right in River Run and easy walking distance for our kids with their gear. The balcony was the BEST view to watch NYE fireworks. However, the check in process is so unnecessarily difficult. Go to the office, find the box, enter the code, get the key, find the garage, go up to the unit... it could be easily simplified by just using a lockbox. I echo other reviews about the property management company and their rental agreement. Customer service is not a priority. Their rental agreement is absurd. When we called with a complaint they cited clauses by number and made no offer to correct. They charge $50/hour for early check in but offered nothing when the unit wasn’t ready by the normal check in time. And it was not the cleaners fault, there were 4/5 of them working their butts off when we arrived to drop off $400 worth of groceries that would have spoiled if we waited however long it would have taken to have the unit ready. My guess is poor scheduling by the management company. We read similar sentiments about management in the reviews, took our chances, and while the trip was overall successful we would never rent this unit or any managed by this company again.

The condo was a prime location in River Run. We liked having the ski lockers in the "club house". note that it only hold ski's for 6. Over all the condo could use some basic maintenance hinges on doors, fireplace etc. For 8 adults it felt tight.

This has been an amazing place to stay. We will definitely be back!

Some of the light switches were difficult to find. The fireplace switch was slightly hidden behind an item on the shelf, but we found them all eventually. The living room space was very comfortable. Plenty of services to choose from on the TV.I was informed that the queen bed was comfortable - soft, but not too soft.The king bed was VERY firm - more firm than I typically would like, but still comfortable.I was informed that the two twin beds were VERY soft - may need to consider replacements soon.Kitchen was adequate for our needs - two of the lower casework doors have started to come loose and could use a new hinge - but everything was clean, easy to find, and more than met our needs.All of the bathrooms were clean and well kept.The facility has a lot of amenities. We used the hot tub one evening - they used a LOT of chlorine, but I am sure that a lot of people are using it.Great location - right in the middle of the resort.We would stay here again - but I would probably switch to a different bedroom with a more comfortable mattress that fit my preference.

Best place to stay in keystone!

This property was in a great location, but off season and the pool was closed, the hot tub stuffed with the same people constantly, no restaurants or shops were open (which was hard to find info online about this) and once I got my luggage packed on the cart to roll over and bring up (including a heavy cooler) the elevator had a sign on it that was out of order! So I had to put all the luggage back in my car so I could lug it up the stairs to the next floor one piece at a time, same for when I left. The hallway was so long, it reminded me of the halls in las vegas in the old hotels they have added to over the years. The interior had very cheap cabinates, for one- I was surprised they looked like partical board, not real wood. The faucet in the twin room was not working correctly, and was just poor quality. The mattresses in the twin room were sunken in so I felt like I was sleeping in a nest. The king room, the mattress was as hard as a rock- and I mean hard- it needs a topper maybe? The other room had a bed that was comfortable. The deck is gorgeous, really the best reason to rent this place, but not in the off season. I'd rent a house in the hills for a better price and easier parking and much higher quality if you go in the off season. All remotes had dead batteries, too, so we couldn't get the TVs going on the first night. I went and bought batteries but we took them with us, so I am guessing they may still be dead. I am sure they would have brought us new ones if we had asked! The sheets, towels, and linens were all nice, bedding was nice, lots of pillows. The scattegories game was missing the big letter dice, so we didn't play that. Plenty of space for a big family and I loved that the three bedrooms each had their own bathroom, so no one had to share. All in all, a great stay, but just wish there was a little more action as far as other people and open shops. There were plenty of people wandering around wanting somewhere to shop.

It was a great location for us, as we could be right in the activity of the village, but on our own deck. The deck was our favorite place. It is on the east side of the building, so was quite bright in the morning. We cooked most of our meals in the very well stocked kitchen. But also enjoyed eating at ‘Lime’ which is right downstairs and around the corner. Also love Haywood Cafe for breakfast! Buffalo Lodge is a very well kept building, and we will definitely consider this unit the next time we stay in the Village!

Great for kids, great for athletes. The location was wonderful. I recommend for a group of friends, family, but not meth heads. There was one roaming the courtyard/resort area who stuck out like a sore thumb.
