The condo was perfect for us and was well kept and had all of the items needed for a pleasant stay!

Great location, beach access, amenities, etc.. Communication with property owner was very prompt and thorough. Comfortable bed, nice kitchen- fully equipped, and well maintained. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time staying here. Check in was through the hotel which is part of the same complex. This is also handy because you can use their facilities including the hot tub. Pedro, the property manager always seems to be around to help with any problems. We needed him once when we blew a breaker by using the microwave and toaster at the same time. A little sign might be helpful to prevent this, Cary. The condo was very clean and well equipped. The bed was super comfy, the pillows were perfect and the linen was in good shape. The pool area is nice, but the pools are not heated and therefore quite cool for swimming at this time of year. Nevertheless we spent quite a bit of time in the sun by the pool where you can look out at the ocean. It was fun watching the kiteboarders and windsurfers. You can also walk for miles in either direction on the beach. We liked that the condo is on the main floor and you could walk directly out to the pool area and beach. We used the little patio a lot for breakfast and reading. Cary provided a lot of information regarding restaurants etc. in advance which was very helpful. It is a relatively short walk to town, and to a grocery store. We had a car which was very helpful in getting around from this location. Overall we had a great time here and would recommend Cary and his condo.

We have been visiting the East Cape for 20 years and Villas de Cortez for 6. We love the studio unit when it is just the two of us on the trip. The unit has everything we need, is clean and in a great location. Cary was great to work with and very helpful with any questions. We can't wait to book our next trip!

Being on the ground floor made such a better experience by being able to walk out our patio door straight to the pool or beach. A wonderful and relaxing place to stay.

We arrived a little early, but that was not a problem and we received the key immediately. I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the finishes and attention to details. This condo is on the ground floor to give you instant access to pool, beach, restaurant and a sweet little patio just outside the sliding door where you can watch the kite surfers from the comfort of your own piece of paradise. It's walkable to shops and restaurants in town, and if you're looking for something, ask any of the locals. They're a friendly bunch. The owner also supplies you with tips for your visit and restaurant and activity suggestions. The condo owner has thought of every possible kitchen need of his guests including a full size fridge. If you need it, it's there. We had barely gotten settled in, when Pedro, the property manager stopped by to introduce himself and to see if all was to our liking. He said to be sure to contact him with any problem. In my condo rental experience this is rare, and I appreciate having a human contact just in case. I highly recommend this rental.

We could not have been more happy with our villa. Cary was available for any questions and sent us an awesome amount of information, so that we knew a lot about LB before our arrival. The studio was beautiful, comfortable, and the kitchen was so well equipped that we only ate a few meals out. I love to cook, and being able to cook, walk out to the pool to eat and watch the ocean was exceptional. We had several nights while eating our dinner that the manta rays were jumping out of the water very close and you could see and hear them when they were splashng back in the water. We did not rent a car, nor an ATV. The town is just a very short walk, so we went to the market everyday and ended up actually meeting and greeting some of the locals we got to know. I am retired and enjoy sleeping in - but I easily awoke very early to watch the sunrise. Many mornings my husband and I were alone at the pool, next to the ocean, drinking our coffee, listening to the day come to life and watching those glorious sunrises. We did not fish. We chilled. There are many things to do, but this visit was for R&R. (We did swim with the whale sharks in La Paz, and that was a lifetime dream come true ). We have traveled to many places, and we can truly say this was one of our favorites. We will return - hopefully many times as it is only a 3 hr flight from Cali. There is a peace about Los Barriles - things move slowly - the people are genuinely warm and friendly. Villa 1102 will always be close in our hearts. Thank you Cary!!!

We had a great stay in LB at the Villas and in this unit. This is our 3rd time renting one of the Villas. I was a little worried about a studio but it had everything we needed for just my husband and I. The bed was comfortable, a great working TV and loved being on the first floor. Cary the owner was great to work with and was quick to respond. We will definatly be back and highly recommend this unit.

The condo has all the amenities that you would want. Cary was very helpful and funny in his suggestions about the property and things to do in LB. We stayed there shortly after the hurricane and we were not sure what to expect when we arrived in LB. We were pleasantly surprised that the town was relatively unharmed by the storm and Cary addressed any little issues with the condo immediately. We would highly recommend staying at this property and we look forward to our next visit!

This is a very beautiful unit. Well constructed and well appointed. Everything you need to relax and enjoy your vacation. The ground floor location is ideal to walk out to the pools, beach, restaurants, etc.. Cary and the on-site staff were terrific. If there was a 6-star rating, I would give it to this property!

We stayed one week in this condo. We were very happy with our surroundings. Nicely decorated and well equipped kitchen. Love the first floor level to pool, beach and restaurant. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We are already planning our next stay. Easy walk to town.

The condo is clean, comfortable, perfect for a relaxing fishing vacation for me and my wife. Walk right out the door to the dock for fishing. It was really nice to step outside and be at pool level. no stairs or elevator! Great place! Will use again and recommend to friends.

This was our second stay at the Villas and this particular condo was simply devine. The owners have obviously taken the time to make sure that the condo is immaculate, beautifully furnished, and very comfortable. Everything is there that you could possibly need. We love Pedro who is just the best and for $10 the maids will do a load of laundry! We are looking forward to our next stay and will definately stay in this unit!

We had a great time at this destination. It is VERY conveniently located on the ground floor and has everything you need for having the most relaxing vacation ever. We met several people renting from neighboring properties and they were all GREAT. In fact, one of them had a boat so we went out and caught some fish, including a marlin! Los Barriles is perhaps the most laid back place I have ever visited.

This was our 2nd trip to Los Barriles and the Villa De Cortez property so obviously we loved the area and the people! The studio property was perfect for my husband and I and was delightfully decorated and met all of our needs and more! It was immaculately taken care of and the property manager and staff at the resort(s) went out of their way to help you with anything and everything!! We plan to return as soon as possible and would definitely recommend this property! Thanks for making it such a wonderful experience and stay!

The condo was a marvelous place to take a relaxing vacation. It is within easy walking distance of restaurants and services in Los Barriles. We were able to take long walks on the beach every morning as the condo is right on the water.The unit was very clean and well appointed. If we needed anything the condo manager was extremely helpful. Our neighbors were all very friendly which made us feel welcome and safe. Cary the owner was exceptional in answering any questions we had and provided us with lots of helpful information about Los Barriles. We loved the condo and the area . Hope we can return and stay at Villas again soon.

My husband and I stayed here for two weeks in July 2010 and had the time of our lives! The condo was sooo comfortable and we met some really nice and hospitable neighbors (hi Landy's). All the staff at the hotel were very accomodating and the went out of their way to see that we had whatever we needed or asked for. It was so convienent to step out on the patio and have our morning coffee overlooking the ocean and pool area. We went fishing about 3 times, yellowtail, sounds weird but humbolt squid (for bait, never seen one in person...awesome about 30 lbs.), and one of the days a 334lb black marlin. Can't wait to go back, THANKS for everything Cary...hopefully we can go again sooner than later! I'm a little jealous, maybe someday we can have a place there too! Our hearts are in LB! Adios, Jack and Shay in San Diego
