Beautiful house nice and super clean, We did enjoy our stay.

This property is great for families. There is enough space to spend time together or spread out and have some alone time.

This house was perfect for our family of 8 adults and 7 children ages 6m to 9years old. Plenty of room and very clean. The location is perfect for touring the nearby areas. The host family is very nice and our children enjoyed seeing the animals. We enjoyed seeing the horse drawn carriages going by and would be happy to stay there again!

Everything about the property was perfect! It was beautiful, had everything we needed, and the location was central to many of the areas we wanted to visit. The hosts were fantastic. This is a beautiful and welcoming place to stay.

This is the second year I've used this house for a school group that went to see Sight and Sound, and I will/would use them again.

This property was perfect for a group of athletes doing the tough mudder classic and endurance series. Beds were good, jet tub was useful for sore muscles, the kids enjoyed the pool, plenty of space and privacy. Hosts were super hospitable.

We had blessed time celebrating Christmas in our Amish hideaway. The host are very friendly and informative. We had 13 of us and we all had our own space. Our only complaint might be, a lack of griddle. Otherwise well-stocked kitchen and a comfortable stay!

The house is beautiful and very clean … Steven and family are very nice and the treats wer yummy ! We had a great time with family for our Thanksgiving Celebration…We would definitely love to go back !

This house was perfect for our friends getaway weekend. We enjoyed some local things and then actually headed into Lancaster for dinner and loved. Mary Bailey's. The house was spotless and yummy cookies greeted us on our arrival along with the family. Thanks for a great trip!

We stayed with a total of 9 adults for our weekend trip to the PA Renaissance faire. The house was gorgeous and had enough space for all of us comfortably. Having a dishwasher was a blessing. Having a pool and hot tub was very relaxing after a day of walking around the fairgrounds. The owners were nice enough to show us their animals before we left. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to the PA Ren faire next year.

Looking at the outside, we were a bit worried. Once entering, we were relieved and impressed with the overall facilities. Our only concerns were that none of the bathrooms were handicapped accessible and there were low rises between rooms which made for a potential tripping hazard. Other than that, it was great!!! Host and family were very friendly and hospitable.

We spent a wonderful week with extended family at the White Horse Guest House in Gap Pennsylvania. Of course, we sampled the standard tourist attractions; Hershey World and Hershey Park are certainly worth a visit, but elicited mixed reviews among our family members. Mostly, we enjoyed the lesser known pleasures to be found in the more immediate area. A farm stand that boasts homemade root beer, and a nearby pretzel factory that provides hands-on tours were particularly big hits. Mostly, we loved the Guest House itself. Our children loved swimming in the very well maintained pool, and the hot tub was certainly relaxing after a long day of exploring. The fire pit was also enjoyed by all. The owners could not have been more gracious and generous, answering all our questions and going above and beyond to make sure that we had a fantastic time. If you ask nicely, they just may let you see their goats and horses. We certainly recommend a stay at the White Horse Guest House. Indeed, we already miss it.

This property was perfect for our family of 8. It was extremely clean and well stocked. With 3 living rooms ahd 4 bedrooms, everyone had space. It is a little far from the center of activities and some uneven flooring made it a challenge for me since I use a walker but I would recommend this property and Steve, the owner. And the kids loved the pool.

First , house was Awesome!!!! Plenty of room . Clean & comfortable. Words do no justice. We rode the Harley’s from the house to covered bridges Al around Lancaster . Nice to get back to home base , relaxing in jacuzzi, cooking steaks on the grill ! We will return .

We had a great stay here. The pool and hot tub were priceless, the house has a ton of space with a big kitchen and lots of seating. There is a grill with an outdoor area and there is a lot to do in that area. The owners were very responsive. I highly recommend we had a great time and will likely return and stay here again.

It was clean, bright, and cheery. We ranged from age 78 to 7 years, and everyone was happy. The pool and hot tub were bonus features that made for a lot of fun. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. We had a great time!

Great Friendly experience! awesome for our large group!

I set this trip up for a group of my high school theater students, traveling to see Sight and Sound. Our group's plan changed along with the number in the group a few weeks before our visit, and Steve was willing and very accommodating of the changes. I did message him one time and didn't hear back from him for a few weeks, but when I did hear back he was very apologetic for the delay. As for the actual visit, the home was very nice and spacious with plenty of beds and bathrooms for our group of 19. The kitchen was nice, too. They struggled a bit to regulate the temperature at first but got it working in the end. I definitely would use them again.

I rented this house for my bridal party the weekend of my wedding. We wanted to be closer to the venue and this place was perfect. Very clean, super spacious, it happened to be warm out so the pool was open and ready to go which was a great perk! Overall, happy with the choice and the communication from the owner when I had questions was quick.

It was very clean and met our needs. Have outstanding supplies in kitchen such as a crock pot, pots pans. Cookie scooper….. However. The wicker furniture in one room was extremely uncomfortable and the leather furniture in other room is all broken down. The high chair had a broken wheel.

We really had a good time at our weekend away in Lancaster. Very nice place with lots of space. Owners were very pleasant, but not the easiest to communicate with and they didn’t immediately respond to our attempts of communication. Hot tub was very nice to relax in. House was a little out of the way from the main tourist areas, but that is also nice if you want to escape some of that. The heat/air conditioning system is tricky. One side of house freezing while other side was very hot and hard to sleep in. Despite a few negatives, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

This is a beautiful and very spacious home. Very clean, functional, fully stocked, in a peaceful area. They overdelivered. The children loved being able to visit with the farm animals of the owners. We had freedom, space, privacy. All that we needed and wanted was there. It was way beyond our expectations. We were extremely pleased, to say the least. Very hospitable family. They made fresh banana bread for us and left it on the counter for when we arrived. The outdoors was as beautiful as the indoors. The children were happy, the adults were happy. We were able to create some good memories. If you have a large group, this is perfect. So many positives, too many to mention here. Very peaceful. We loved it and would definitely stay again. What a peaceful, relaxing weekend we had. The accommodations were absolutely beautiful!!! Homemade bread was left on the kitchen counter for our enjoyment, house was clean and spacious. Can't wait to come again

All in all we had a great vacation. There were a few "minor" issues in the beginning. Firstly, we arrived at the owners home at 4 o'clock (check in) to pick up the keys but no one was available until 4:30. I did call, text and send a vrbo message but no one returned the call. I was eventually able to get help from the owners daughter. There were also some rules like "no music outside" and "no alcohol." I felt like those should have been clear in the listing. My other biggest issue was the yard, there was a large grass hill behind the pool and it was full of Hornets. This mostly was in the morning and by the afternoon most of them had disappeared but my children couldn't play in the grass because I was afraid of them aggravating any of the Hornets and being stung. Thankfully no one in our party was allergic. But like I said all in all we did have a good time because vacation is what you make of it. We made great memories, regardless of those minor issues. There was a lot of positives, the house was beautiful and very clean. We loved the pool and the hot tub. The area was quiet with a nice view. We loved seeing horse & buggies, the horses working in the fields behind the house. The owners left a note at the house saying they had fresh eggs for sale and also invited us up to see their animals. Which we didn't get a chance to do. They also left fresh baked cookies on the counter, which I thought was very sweet. We loved being in close proximity to a lot of small farmers markets. And I highly suggest checking out LAPP valley, the ice cream was amazing.

We had a wonderful time on our 1 week stay at White Hor Guest House. There was a total of 13 people(my wife and myself, our 2 sons and 2 daughter-in laws and 7 grandchildren) who stayed. Very spacious and .accommodating for our needs. Close to Sight and Sound, Hersheypark,Strasburgh Railroad and many other great locations. The host family was tremendous. Would recomend this location to anyone. Had a wonderful time.
