It was spotless and exactly as pictured, with our travel to and from the airport helpfully arranged in advance by Martina, who met us when we arrived and saw us off on our last day. We enjoyed Prague very much, even though it was quite crowded at the well-known attractions like The Old Town Square and the Castle. Far and away, living at this apartment in the Vinohrady neighborhood was the highlight of our vacation. It was always such a pleasure to return from the touristic hustle and bustle to the peaceful environs of this apartment. For all the well-deserved celebration of this homey, relaxing apartment in the reviews, I am surprised that more people have not highlighted how quiet the neighborhood is. We slept every night in the very comfortable queen-sized bed with our windows wide open and were amazed at how quiet it was even on the weekend. Meanwhile, there are a number of good restaurants within easy walking distance - and the farmer's market was quite a treat, featuring an Asian food festival on one of the days we were there. Prague's easily accessible metro system, a short two blocks away, was the best we've experienced in Europe. And Tad and Jana responded quickly and effectively to any questions we had. In short, we loved renting this apartment and would do so again in a heartbeat if we decide to return to this fair city.

We are only a couple so I can imagine if 2 couples were staying there that it could become a problem. Everything seemed to work okay, however we could not ignite the stove's front 2 burners. Not that it mattered, just letting the owners know this. Quiet, which is always appreciated. Close to the metro. No complaints, we were very happy with our stay.

This was the IDEAL apartment for us visiting Prague for 2 weeks. We were super close to everything but not at all in the touristy areas so we felt like we had a true "locals" experience. It's close to public transportation or easy < 1 mile walk to major attractions. There are lovely restaurants right outside the door as well as a near by grocery, farmers market and park. The apartment is HUGE! Easily could accompany a family of 4 or 2 couples. It has a washer/dryer and large kitchen and overlooks a beautiful yard. We had an amazing experience and highly recommend this beautiful apartment.

We loved the apartment, it has a special charm like Praga. It is a spacious apart very clean , in a beautiful neighborhood and quiet zone. But also near the center with a Good transport network (Metro and Tram) . The Manager, Martina is professional and very helpful An experience to repeat!

Not a single complaint, except perhaps that the TV was in the bedroom instead of the sitting room. But we weren't there to watch TV anyway. The owner, Tad, and the property manager, Martina, were both wonderful to work with. Martina, actually met us and saw us off at the curb to negotiate with the cabbies on a fair fare. We had a wonderful stay.

How do i begin to describe the perfect apartment in Prague! Owner Tom was great to work with when arranging apartment rental. Martina the manager was the best! Martina arranged car service to the apartment which you should do, it's makes getting to the apartment so easy on your first day in Prague. The apartment is in the best location, everything you need within a block, market, metro, resturant, etc. the apartment is just like the pictures, perfect. You won't find a better apartment in a better location in Prague, this is the one to rent!

My girlfriend and I spent a week in the apartment at the end of September / first week of October. The location is ideal if you want a quiet environment (master bedroom faces the garden courtyard) but which is just a short ride into Old Town, Little Quarter and other places using the red line. The apartment itself was much more spacious than we expected with a large kitchen, bedroom and living room. Martina was kind and helpful - arranged for a car for transportation from the airport to the apartment and then gave us a tour of the apartment and the surrounding area. We recommend Aromi for a morning Espresso and a delicious meal, less than a block away. There are also several small grocery stores and a fabulous farmers market within 1-2 blocks for those meals you want to make for yourself. The kitchen is fully equipped. We ate several meals "at home". For us the apartment really was perfect and felt like a home away from home.

Another Five Star Review !!! This apartment deserves them all. The place is every bit as charming as its pictures suggest. The rooms are large and airy, with high ceilings and wonderful light. They are decorated with colorful art and comfortable, interesting furniture. The cabinet is loaded with maps and guidebook. Be sure to read "The Velvet Revolution."-- found there. ( We also recommend Madeline Albright's "Prague Winter." )The kitchen and bedroom overlook a small park. So nice to wake up to trees and birds with your coffee. A friend and I stayed for two weeks. We used both rooms as bedrooms and hung out in the kitchen. The parlor made a comfortable bedroom, I slept well while keeping windows on the street open. It's a quiet neighborhood. (After braving the crowds in the Old Town we appreciated staying in Vinohrady). The apartment is beyond well equipped. We enjoyed having a clothes washer; the diswasher was overkill. Thanks for the slippers and umbrellas!!! In European style, the bathroom and water closet are separate which makes sharing easier. The neighborhood is great. Don't miss the farmer's market three days a week. Be sure to stop for a coffee. It's just around the corner as are several nice wine and cheese shops, the best PHO carryout in Prague, and Aromi, part of a gourmet empire. Don't miss Adelaide's, a delightful children's/gift/clothing shop two blocks down on Polaska, toward the Tower. The apartment's a hop-skip-and-a jump from the a RED LINE metro station. The red line will take you to and from either side of the Charles Bridge, OldeTown, Mala Strana, theaters and concerts in minutes .....Pragues' rapid transit is the fastest we'd ever been on. There are many Tram lines within a few blocks of the apartment. Prague is so wonderful, with so much to see and do. You probably wont spend much time in the apartment. But that time will be charming and quiet. I want to thank Tad Brady, the owner. It was a pleasure making arrangements with him. I really appreciated his prompt replies and friendly manner. And Martina, the manager, who arranged luxury transport to and from the airport at supersaver prices. Who was always just a phone call or email away. My sister and I stayed here for the week between Christmas and New Years. It was perfect for us. Martina, the manager was away part of the time for the holiday, but she made sure we were met at the apartment and provided everything we needed. It is very pretty, comfortable, clean apartment in a quiet, lovely neighborhood. It felt like home right away.

After a week in Prague (our first visit to the Czech Republic), staying in this apartment, we loved Prague and the apartment so much we booked it for another week a few weeks later and invited our son to join us. The apartment worked out beautifully for us. The kitchen is very well equipped together the farmer's market that is twice weekly in the park around the corner made for some memorable meals. The neighborhood is not touristy, but "real" Prague, with local food, wine and bread shops abounding. It was a great location and we look forward to making this an annual event.

This apartment was the perfect home-away-from-home for me. I was in Prague attending an art workshop for ten days, and extended my stay for a little longer. I have rented VRBO apartments all over the US and abroad, and have to say this one is one of my favorites. Very charming and cozy, sunny, bright, and of course all the old-world charm of Prague including wonderful tall ceilings. Beautiful big old windows, a wonderful fully-equipped kitchen, and very cozy bedroom. The front living room area was very cozy as well. The location couldn't be better ~ steps from the Metro which got me all over Prague in minutes, as well as easy walking distance to shops, grocery store, pubs, and restaurants. The owner couldn't have been more accommodating, as well as his local manager, Martina, extremely helpful and took good care of my needs. Highly recommend this apartment, you won't go wrong. Enjoy!

Beautiful, sunny, airy apartment in great location. Quiet street but walking distance from everything.

This apartment was much bigger than I had anticipated, which was lovely! Everything was very clean and straightforward. It was easy to check in, and the tour around the apartment was helpful. The kitchen was fully stocked with all necessary cooking tools, and it even comes with a dishwasher!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice apartment away from the noise of the city, but within two blocks of a subway stop.

My wife and 20 year old daughter and I stayed a week and had a very good experience with the rental of Tad & Jana's flat. Tad was easy to communicate with and prompt in getting us our deposit back. The flat was roomy and comfortable, and it couldn't have been much easier to get around town from there. I particularly loved the local farmer's market that pops up in the nearby transit square on Saturdays- great sausages if you fry them up with fresh peppers and onions! Lots of local restaurants if you don't want to cook. If you want to stay in a Four Seasons Resort, this may not be for you; for my family at least, it was a wonderful flat.

We rented this apartment for 15 days in June and July. It is much more spacious than the pictures would suggest. We stayed there with our grown son and found it to be very comfortable for all. We will definitely want to stay there again if we return to Prague in the future. The neighborhood is very pleasant and convenient. Be sure to have breakfast at the French restaurant around the corner and dinner at Aromi a little over a block away. Consult the book prepared by the owners for other helpful suggestions about food and other aspects of your stay.
