Great location. Short safe walk to old town. Very comfortable bed. Staff very friendly and helpful, Arranged a very early transfer to the airport. I couldn't ask for anything more.

No creamer for coffee in the room

Dragos, and Claudiu from reception and the director of the facilities were nice and helpful. They did their best to accommodate us in a decent room . After we changed two different rooms at hotel Duke Romana they moved us to hotel Duke Armeneasca where we changed two rooms as well in order to stay in a decent room. Claudiu from hotel Duke Armeneasca reception is a very nice person, he did all his best to make our stay pleasant.

Hotel Duke Romana supose to be a 4 star facility, unfortunately I can not give more then 2 stars to this hotel. The rooms we saw were dirty, the sink craked, hair in the bathtub, outdated furniture, stained walls and the safe in the room is a joke, very small and wasn't attached to anything.

Location is not quite close to the old town but close to pick up point for tour

The services are really bad ! 1.early check in charge €10 , I don’t mind to pay but if I know it in advance, actually I didn’t feel good that while I arrived under 34 degree at almost 12:00 and the front desk smiled to ask me first : let me check if the room is ready for you and I was so happy to hear that but 1min later you said : oh nice the room is ready but you have to pay extra fee for 10€?!!! It sounds like a trap! I would prefer to have two beers and wait for 2hour to check in then pay for just drop the luggage ! 2. The air conditioner was broken!!!! Room 601 And couldn’t fix it and at the end I have to change to other room but ! No one helped , I was waiting in the room for changing the room for 10mins the I called to the front desk again, the reception told me : you have to come down ! To get the key coz I am downstairs?!!!!with Impatient voice What kind of service is that 3.the bad news is the last room toilet also got problems…it’s not my day but I gave up to complain I wanna say it out and give 5 it’s because there are still nice people and I had good time in Romania anyway and I hope it will help the next visitors to have better services .

The location of the hotel is very central. Old city is in walking distance and the Metro station Piata Romana is just 100m away. Rooms are clean and quiet and the staff is very friendly.

Minor inconveniences: only one mirror in the apartment with two bedrooms, noisy traffic running the whole night.

The staff was nice and helpful.

The air conditioning was above the bed, and it was really uncomfortable when it was on; the cold air was straight on us, and it was really uncomfortable. In the room, the slippers were missing, and wrle had to walk barefoot or in our socks The noise outside of room 603 from the hallway air conditioning was loud enough to be heard in the room.

It was in the perfect location for my purposes. It's close enough to the centre (piata unirii) that I was able to walk there, or it was two stops on the metro. The bed was comfortable, the staff that I interacted with were pleasant, the shower was great and the fridge was spacious for the drinks and fruits that I needed to store there.

The only thing that was a little disappointing was the cupboard was rather small for two people. Luckily we were in Bucharest for a weekend, so it wasn't a big problem.

Breakfast quite good, except for the lack of fruit. Location is fantastic. Right in the center of Bucharest. Easy connections to every other point of interest by either subway, bus or trolley. Room not very big but comfy. I liked the pillows very much!
