I worked the first day/nite/morning. The desk in 2nd bdrm was excellent spot for this. The afternoon, next nite & morning we explored Desoto, hiked to the Falls and explored Mentone. We ate lunch at the Wildflower Cafe (very good!) We never could get the thermostat to turn on where it could be adjusted. We ended up using the gas logs & that helped knock the bit of chill off. The bed was very comfy for us. Thanks!

We love Mentone and will plan to return!! For years, we’ve frequented the surrounding area, but never spent time in Mentone. We met the most wonderful business owners and tried to support them by purchasing some of their wares! 😀🎨 We found some yummy restaurants and enjoyed many of the local eats! Our dog, Joey, really enjoyed going with us and not getting left at home. We walked all about town and hiked the State Park! We loved the cabin! It was perfectly centered to walk everywhere in both directions. And we walked over to Brow Park and discovered the amazing sunset views!! Wow! The cabin was cute and quaint and super clean, which I really appreciated. I loved sitting on the front porch in the porch swing. Joey loved sitting in the sun watching the people pass by! The cabin was well stocked with everything you need and more! The bed was super comfortable and cozy, too. We encountered a sudden cold snap during our stay! The owner was very responsive, which we appreciated. We arrived to check in and I couldn't find the code that I know he sent! It was starting to be very cold and I was grateful for the quick response so we didn't have to wait in the cold very long! We'll definately come back again! Mentone was magical.

Great rental, it was rustic but modern. So close we walked everywhere. Very unique and cozy. We both loved it. The town was small, but big enough to have everything we needed

We were there to get away for a little alone time. Today is our 49th wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for letting us stay in your cabin. It was just what we needed.

The location of this cabin worked out perfectly for us as we were able to walk next door to the market and across the street to our favorite shops and restaurants. Communication was easy and the cabin was clean and absolutely gorgeous. Great use of technology for convenience in a place where you generally lack cellular service. 10/10 would book again!

This was an incredible cabin for a family. Lots of room to move around without feeling squeezed in and even fun board games to do on rainy days. It’s close to everything and such beautiful surroundings. We even watched deer cross the road while sitting on the front porch. Loved how close the trails and river were to our cabin. It was one of our favorite trips to Mentone.

Fabulous location and peaceful porch

Beautiful cabin! Very clean and well stocked! Easy access to parks and loved the sidewalks for am strolls. Only negative....not one restaurant was open. We had no problem doing our breakfast and lunch in the cabin. Wanted to go out for dinners, but we found great places in Fort Payne where we got takeout. The drive there was easy!

Had a great visit for decoration day and family reunion.

This house is very clean and comfy! Feels like a home. Plenty of room to move around and big bathroom! We liked the covered parking and easy access into back door. Digital locks and auto on lighting is so good. Wessley has some neat furniture pieces and other features of the house that are made by a local craftsman. You’ll want to take the time to look around at the photographs hanging throughout and check out the information book to find out more about them. The front porch has a swing and seating for a great end of the day relaxing or morning coffee. So glad we found this place! We will definitely be going back!

Amazing setting for a get away! Mentone is a quiet, quaint town to wind down in. Cabin was so so comfortable, everything we needed, and was next door to the market! Would highly recommend this property and plan to be back!

Just perfect for the two of us! Spotlessly clean, with everything we needed! The kitchen is supplied with anything a cook would need and the king bed we slept in was very, very comfortable.

We titled this review next to Mentone Market because the convenience of being able to walk next door to pick up food or walk a short distance to shops was the highlight of our stay!

We had a wonderful time, perfect location next door to Mentone Market. Property was as described, on Main Street, had everything you could have needed and more including garbage bags, laundry detergent, paper towels, beds were very comfortable, quaint little town. There’s not much to do except the few shops and restaurants but that was ok with us we enjoyed the R and R. The TV was a mystery to operate but we were able to figure it out eventually, would have been nice to have written instructions to operate it. We would definitely consider this cabin again for future trips. The owners knew how to make it comfortable and cozy. The only negative comment was the ongoing traffic day and night with those big trucks coming through but that wouldn’t deter us from staying again. Thanks again for a lovely get away!

We loved this cabin! We booked it for a quick, 2-night trip and it was perfect. We enjoyed the location of it, as well as the decor—it had enough of the original material to be quaint and authentic, but with all the modern touches to make us comfortable. Great place!

This was AWESOME! In walking distance to more than one restaurant! We ate at Mentone Market multiple times! Nice and had roku tv’s witch was nice. Over all it was just a good place. If your wanting to be in more of a quiet surrounding this could not be for you, but if your wanting to be where you can get our and walk to places. You can do it here! I would stay at this place again!

Loved the cabin.Even the traffic made us feel at home .(since we are from Birmingham) It was a very relaxing 4 days.
