Clean quiet beautifully decorated with lots of amenities and close to all the local restaurants and activities. Porch sitting with awesome mountain views & sunsets makes a great place to relax with friends and family. Would highly recommend this property and the friendly helpful owner. We are looking forward to a return visit.

We had a wonderful girlfriends’ getaway! The property is immaculately clean and well appointed with everything you need for a great stay. The fireplace and view were great for drinking morning coffee with friends. The location is perfect in that it is right in Mentone with a beautiful mountain and valley view. I highly recommend this property and would love to stay again. The property manager and the owner reached out and made sure we knew they were available, but there were no issues with anything. Great home!

We visited this cabin for the second time over Christmas; it was just as enjoyable as our first visit last summer, in spite of lots of rain and a brief power outage on Christmas Day. Beds are very comfortable, windows open easily and are screened, gas fireplace is great, appreciate the standing fan in upstairs bedroom, views are nice, and the location is perfect. I can also attest to the lack of noise that travels from the downstairs TV area to the upstairs bedrooms in spite of the layout (which makes it seem like it might be an issue). Owner and manager are extremely nice to deal with and very accessible should anything arise. One last thing I have to point out is how clean it is; dust is nowhere to be found! It's shocking how most rentals (even the nicest ones) have a film of dust on everything. Whoever does the cleaning for Just Chillin does an excellent job! Hope to be back soon!

This was our second stay at this amazing cabin. Everything was exceptional. We especially loved the fireplace when the weather was cool and the beautiful views from the back porch when the weather warmed up. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were so comfortable. We plan another stay in the spring.

Beautiful property and perfect for our needs. Centrally located between Chattanooga, Fort Payne and Little River. We did a lot of hiking and enjoyed coming back to property and "just chill".

My sister and I stayed in this fabulous cabin for a birthday weekend. Everything was top of the line and beautiful. We spent most of our time on the amazing screened in porch just relaxing, reading, and talking. We decided to make this an annual trip and always stay here because of the location and beautiful views.

The property is clean, well-provisioned, and as described in the listing. The view from the screened-in porch is lovely, and we were able to talk to all the things we did in Mentone. We would stay again.

What a great property! Had a wonderful stay with a perfect house. Very comfortable and had everything we needed. Located perfectly for a quick trip to Scottsboro, Fort Payne and Chattanooga. Town of Mentone super cute with some fun eats and shops. This cabin had all the comforts of home and would definitely stay again when in the are. It was perfect for our girls’s trip!!!

The cabin was very clean and organized. The screened in back porch is unbelievable. The view at sunset is spectacular.

This property is fantastic! Our family enjoyed everything about our stay. We enjoyed sitting and reading on the porch, watching movies from several streaming apps, and sitting around the fire pit at night. The sunsets from the porch were incredible. The cabin was very close to everything in Mentone which was an added plus. The owner Kevin checked in with us during our stay to make sure things were going well. I also communicated with Susan the property manager, and she was very helpful as well. If you are looking for a place to just relax and "get away" from the hustle and bustle of real life, this is your place.

We had an awesome stay. This cabin was perfect for our retreat. The cabin was furnished with everything we needed. It was one of the cleanest cabins we have stayed in. The beds were so comfortable and the linens even made the bed more comfortable. The screened in top deck was where we spent most of our time. We will rent “Just Chillin” again! Ms Susan was very accommodating and the owner Mr. Kevin was a pleasure to talk to.

My best friends from high school and college, and I had the most spectacular girls weekend at Just Chillin! Everything about the cabin was absolutely perfect. The check in process was super easy and the owners were very accessible if we needed anything, which, of course we didn’t! Would highly recommend for anyone who wants to be close to Mentone, but feel like you’re far away from everything once you’re on the back porch. Easy access to all the shops at Mentone plus Fort Payne is just a short drive away. Great as a homebase for exploring the area or for just sitting on the back porch soaking in nature the whole time! If we get a chance, we’ll definitely be back!

Just Chillin was a perfect place to relax and unwind! We visit Mentone every year, but this was our first time staying in this cabin. The location, furnishings, layout, cleanliness and serenity make this cabin a perfect getaway spot. The owner and property manager are responsive and extremely easy to work with. Stayed the weekend with a group of friends. Cabin had all amenities we needed and is in a convenient location. Will definitely go back.

So impressed by this property! It was the perfect little getaway for our family and we couldn’t have had a better time! We arrived at the property late on Thursday night and the check-in process was super easy! We already had the instructions, so we went right on in with no hold-ups! We had issues with childcare and had to bring our children for a night, but it was still just as easy and relaxing! They enjoyed the screened-in porch and the bedroom downstairs was big enough for a small pack n play for our 1 year old, and the bed was big enough for my husband, me and our 2 and a half year old! Everything was super clean and like-new! You can tell the people who own the home truly care about it and want people to enjoy it as well. Owner called and checked in on us on Friday, which was nice to know they were reachable should we need them! Great location as well. So quiet— you can really soak in the nature around you here! I loved it so much I even took a nap on the porch one afternoon! We will definitely be renting this cabin out again in the future!

My husband and I had a wonderfully relaxing weekend at Just Chillin! The cabin is beautifully decorated and super cozy. The screened in back deck is just heavenly-- the perfect spot to sip morning coffee and curl up with a book on the comfortable couches! You can't beat the location. We enjoyed being just a couple minutes away from downtown. We spent the weekend hiking at Desoto State Park, eating way too much delicious food, and spending the rest of our time binging Netflix in our pj's. It was truly the perfect spot to get away from it all. We both highly recommend and can't wait to schedule another visit!

We ventured to Mentone for a writer’s conference and fell in love with this gem. Upon arriving, we settled in as a storm was approaching. The storm was awe inspiring to watch from the comfort of the main living room. The rain subsided, the sun popped out and the absolute beauty of this place emerged. The back decks are not only spacious but enough seating for a small army and the views…oh my!!!!! Saturday night, we used the grill to cook dinner and then relaxed and warmed ourselves by the fire pit. Our only regret, if you can call it a regret is that we didn’t take advantage of the gas logs in the living room. This was in my humble opinion, the gem on the mountain! I also need to mention the phone call I received from the owners, wanting to make sure it suited our needs. That was the personal touch that sold us on planning another trip in the fall, I can only imagine the fall colors that can be viewed from the top and bottom decks! I failed to mention how gorgeous the inside of the cabin is, rustic, log cabin feel. 5 Star

My wife picked this place and it was terrific. Nicely redone large cabin, beautiful inside, great back porches as well. This location was perfect for us as a jumping off point for destinations like the Freedom Riders monument in Anniston, DeSoto falls, and Monteagle in Tennessee. Check instructions were easy and host even called to check on us. Highly recommended!

A wonderful blend between rustic and modern; this cabin is sure to impress. It’s location is walking distance to most shops and eateries that Mentone has to offer but still allows the serenity to escape the everyday grind. Cozy enough for two, spacious enough for a family! Two 👍 up!
