absolutely stunning in every way. the view, the accommodation, everything.

well appointed however would have been helpful to have a small bottle of olive oil for the nights and mornings we self catered.

the driveway down to the villa is precarious - we got stuck in all wheel drive trying to get up the driveway - so had to park at the top & walk

This villa is set on a beautiful farm, away from the hustle and bustle. Perfe t place to rejuvenate and relax. We loved the fireplace, the outdoor bath and shower, the swiming pool and the incredible view. The beds are extremely comfortable wit lovely linen. Sheenagh is a lovely host who is kind and helpful. There were fresh flowers throughout the villa. . I wish we could have stayed longer

The views are superb, the rooms and bathrooms are spacious and great to have a fireplace in the lounge for those chilly evenings. The bathroom towels are lovely and big, the beds are comfortable and having a vase of flowers on the lounge table made the place feel even more welcoming. Wish we’d stayed longer! can highly recommend this property!

Beautiful Location. One of our favorite spots to stay in Franschhoek. We always enjoy our stay to the maximum. Completely relaxing and magical.

position and view, you can’t find a better views in franschhoek, but still not far from village. The house had character which was a positive point. the pool is more a plunge pool than a proper one, was too cold anyway too use it. Nightguard on duty

bit less was the fact that in spite the open fire that was prepared everyday and an electric heater it still was a bit cold in the house. I can imagine that if it is really cold the living room will be less pleasant. The bedroom however had electric blankets an underfloor heating so that was a plus point. As the villa is old there are lots of gaps in door and window frames. the days we were there the wind was howling in the night so it kept me awake. in day time this was not a problem. so probably we just had bad luck. would like to have had a washing machine in the house.

The driveway to the Villa is difficult for smaller vehicles (small engine vehicles). We were concerned that if it rained, we would not have been able to drive out.
