The customer service is absolutely amazing. By far the best I’ve seen in any hotel. You can tell it’s a family business and they will do anything to make your stay as good as it can be. The rooms are clean and modern. Food in the restaurant is also very good, not to mention the drinks!

Beautiful location, 4 mins walk to clear water beach, tavernas and shops. On hilltop, great parking around, new and modern design. Lovely and big balcony.

Everything was AMAZING! From the staff, the atmosphere, our room was super clean and above our expectations. Loved everything and will definitely be back!

The staff was excellent- everyone was attentive and friendly . They even gave a complimentary cake to celebrate my husband’s birthday! When the shower was not working, they immediately got it replaced. Overall great experience!

Our rooms were next to the road so was a bit noisy because of the cars. The ac gets turned off after 2 mins but it’s ok because the weather is not too hot.

I don't know where to start, this is an amazing hotel. The room itself was very spacious, with a sea view, a large bathroom, comfortable beds, balcony and a fully equipped kitchen. The hotel is styled very nicely and there are 2 pools and plenty of spaces to relax. The food in the restaurant is delicious though lacking a bit of choice and the cocktails were just amazing. I cannot emphasise how good the staff is, the 2 receptionists were very helpful and made us feel welcome (and we got a room upgrade), everybody was very kind and going out of their way, a special thanks to Chronos who was very nice and generous throughout the whole stay! I cannot recommend this place enough.

There is nothing about the hotel itself, however bear in mind that being there without a car, you will have to rely on the buses which are not very reliable.

Everything, especially the Staff and food

We loved everything about this place, but mostly very friendly and professional staff, they went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Our 10 month old son Timothy loved everyone too, he was treated so well at this hotel. We will definitely come back in the future!

Wonderful staff, very friendly and attentive. We were traveling with our baby and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay a comfortable one. Breakfast was very good, as was the dinner menu at the restaurant. My husband has coeliac disease and had plenty of options to choose from. The location is perfect - quiet with sea views but literally a 4 minute walk from Agia Pelagia beach. The property is beautiful with two swimming pools, one with a bar where they make great cocktails. I had a great massage too. Overall a very pleasant and relaxing stay, and we would stay there again, but a few things could be improved.

The bedroom was very small - in order to fit the baby’s travel cot we had to move the bed over to touch the wall. The room sometimes had a strange smell. I thought it was silly that other reviewers complained about the “dated” bathroom but it honestly does need a refresh - an old dingy shower curtain is not really what you want in such a beautiful property. We were told to download an app to do things like order drinks by the pool, but it didn’t work. The day menu could be improved; compared to breakfast and dinner, it was quite disappointing.

Amazing place, perferct location and best staff!

The hotel Irida is a great location for relaxing time It is close to the main city of Heraklion, but also offers a fantastic view the staff is incredibly friendly, you’ll feel soon to be at your ease the swimming pools (2) are both open all day the breakfast has a good variety of fresh food Lunch and dinner are the best! I haven’t found anything better in Heraklion or other towns in the 100km surroundings

Excellent hotel in perfect location ( nice view but still not far from the beach). Hotel is not too big but there is all what is needed for happy holidays. Hotel staff is extremely helpful and friendly - everywhere in the reception, restaurant and the bar. You feel like a VIP :) Cleaning team is making good job. It's really clean also pools and their surrounding. Tasty breakfasts with wide variety of meals.

Welcome was good, good customer service, facilities good... Basically I would recommend staying at Irida Agia Pelagia.

Wasn't anything to dislike...

The breakfast is fantastic, fresh local produce, coffee, juices, fruit, warm food, sweets, for everyone something to choose from. The view from the hotel and the set-up in different height levels offers a lot of privacy and quiet feel.

My pillow was a bit too thick, I prefer soft, thin pillows otherwise it affects my neck.
