Upgraded to upstairs room away from road. Host had put heater on for us so it was lovely and warm to walk into in middle of winter, felt instantly at home. Bed very comfy. Great location.
French doors into bathroom bit unusual and extractor fan noisy when light on in bathroom. But neither of these things really impacted our overall impression.

The room was very nice and the bed was great, loved the big spa bath. View and location were great, staff were friendly and relaxed
Some of the rules seems a bit tough, Cooking facilities were almost nil.

No breakfast here that i heard of. Friendly manager, 2 spacious bedrooms and lounge. Clean. Attractive. Sufficient kitchen equipment. Super bath. Great location. ( a little plain and motel looking exterior).

Great to get towels to use at Hanmer Springs pools..
Walking distance to shops, pools activities and restaurants..Loved the Christmas Decorations on the building.
Unfortunately i guess someone had to have the unit beside the road on lower floor..Found it so noisy from the traffic and people are so close when walking passed all day and night. Not very private as its so close to the foot path as well..

The chap and his wife at the reception were very accommodating
I had booked a room with an extra bed. The woman at reception said they didn’t have an extra bed in Room 5. It turned out when the new people were on reception they informed me that there was in actual fact a sofa bed in that room. This was disappointing that the woman on reception didn’t know the room set ups. I had even phoned to check the room before we went.
Drawer or wardrobe space would have been handy. Only three coat hangers between two people meant that clothes were on the floor.
