This was a great hotel. It's right on the beach, your front and back door! It's beautiful, it's, kept, really clean, but what makes the Tryst hotel is the staff? This is friendly staff from the front desk, to the restaurant (The Wicked Lily), to housekeeping. Christian, Jacob, Dominic (Front Desk, we're great) Jonathan, (Wicked Lily great). I wish I could remember every ones name. Sure, I could tell you about small issues like not enough hangers, or you can read small rooms, but please who cares, you don't come to PR for that you come for the beach, mountain, outdoor living and they have great outdoors living with beach chairs and umbrella provided! Great value for the price! You can walk around to many places for food, coffee, shopping, I would suggest trying going to Old San Juan, El Yunque rain forest.

I loved the hotel is right off the beach

The shower has high-pressure water and can't be modified, so taking a shower is somewhat painful. Also, don't expect the highest quality body wash, hand soap, or shampoo

This was the worst hotel experience of my life. After waking up in the morning, I felt something wrong with my face, and when I went to look in the mirror, my face was completely swollen. I also had bumps all over my body which I determined to be insects. I inspected the bed and observed reddish insects in the sheets where I lay my head. I wasn't sure whether they were bed bugs or ticks, which could potentially give humans Lyme disease. I was scheduled to have professional photos taken with friends but had to cancel due to swelling on my face. The trip was not enjoyable due to the anxiousness and fear I suffered, not knowing the potential; outcome of an infection or infestation from the insects in my bed. I am a family man and school teacher who needed this trip as a break, relaxing time, and moment of restoration away from my daily responsibilities. Although I was complimented on my stay, the pain, suffering, and vacation I had planned for several months were insufficient. I would never stay here or recommend that anybody would stay at this place based on my experience.

Got oceanview room, but window was filthy and wouldn’t open. Shower leaked and wasn’t fixed despite saying it would be.
